The red-haired foreigner lifted a foot covered in mud and blood, and held out his expensive-looking but equally filthy leather shoe to Ji Zuodao's lowered face.

The tip of his shoe almost touched Ji Zuodao's nose.

Then, in a tone that was a mixture of charity and extreme humiliation, he slowly and clearly commanded:

"Give me……"

"Kneel down."

"Lick it clean."

The alley was deathly silent.

Only the red-haired foreigner's heavy, excited breathing and his eyes that gleamed with an eerie red light could be heard.

The woman in white frowned and gripped the bone sword tightly, seemingly ready to strike at any moment.

Dog remained lying down, but its ears twitched almost imperceptibly.

Qiqi looked up at her frozen brother with her little face upturned, tilting her head as if she were a little confused.

then.

"Smack—!!!"

A crisp, loud slap, echoing so deeply it reverberated through the alley, rang out without warning!

The force, speed, and angle were so sharp that it was a textbook example of slapping.

The red-haired foreigner's face, which had just been filled with an arrogant and cruel smile, was violently flung to the right by the slap.

A soft "crack" sounded from his neck, as if it could no longer bear the strain, and a few bloody teeth mixed with saliva drew brief arcs in the air.

He was like a ball being blasted at full speed, spinning around at least one and a half times before staggering and falling flat on his face with a "thud" onto the cold ground.

His cheek swelled up at a visible speed, revealing a clear, slightly reddish handprint.

Ji Zuodao slowly withdrew his hand, flicked his wrist, as if he had just swatted an annoying mosquito.

He looked down at the red-haired foreigner on the ground, who was completely stunned by the slap and whose scarlet evil light in his eyes had mostly faded.

I said…

"You foreign devil..."

"Can't you understand human speech?"

"Didn't I just teach you that?"

Ji Zuodao squatted down, extended two fingers, pinched the red-haired foreigner's newly grown tongue, which was now unconsciously drooping at the corner of his mouth, and gently shook it.

"Disaster comes from the mouth."

He looked into the other person's bloodshot eyes, which were trembling wildly with extreme fear, and smiled, speaking the most chilling words in the gentlest tone:

"Your new tongue..."

"Looks like you don't want it anymore?"

"OK."

"I'm quite interested to know how many times you have to have your tongue pulled out before you learn your lesson."

"It's alright, the night is still long, we have time to teach you slowly."

Ji Zuodao plans to find professionals in this area; when it comes to pulling out tongues, who can be more professional than the little devils in the underworld?

Without saying a word, he summoned the hungry ghosts.

"Feeding? Are you there?"

"There's a short-term job here, it's temporary."

"I need someone who can pull out tongues, with a quick and efficient technique, preferably with some... um, professional qualifications. Do you have any suitable geniuses you can recommend? I'll bring one over in a bit."

No sooner had he finished speaking than a hoarse, urgent voice, thick with obsequiousness, exploded in his mind:

"Oh my! Sir! You finally remembered me!"

The voice was so excited, as if it had heard heavenly music, and the speech was rapid-fire:

"A business trip to the human world?! Such a wonderful job?! Sir, you're truly my savior! Now I can brag to those bumpkins about how worldly I've seen it all!"

Immediately afterwards, the voice, as if afraid of missing the opportunity, patted its chest and assured:

"Sir! No need to call outsiders! Just me! I know how to pull out tongues! It's my specialty, and I'll never cheat you!"

"Back when I was interning in the Tongue-Pulling Hell, I got first place! It's true! The certificate is still hanging in my house, it's gold-lettered, certified by the underworld!"

"How about... I bring it over for you to see? I guarantee it's genuine, no fakes, no replacement!"

Ji Zuodao was very satisfied.

"Alright, alright, forget the certificate. You're the one. Get ready, don't resist."

"Alright! Sir! Just you wait and see! I guarantee I'll complete the mission and satisfy you!" His voice was so excited it was almost distorted.

Ji Zuodao said no more, his throat bobbing slightly, as if he was preparing something.

The next second, the skin on his neck swelled up strangely, and a wet, fleshy ball about the size of a pigeon egg, covered with fine gray-black lines, was spat out of his mouth with a "poof".

The fleshy ball grows as soon as it leaves the mouth, once exposed to the wind!

Like inflating a balloon, it swelled in the blink of an eye into an ugly humanoid creature that was more than half a person tall, with limbs as thin as bamboo poles, a belly swollen like a ball, and skin that was bluish-gray, covered with wrinkles and strange markings.

The hungry ghost had barely stood still and hadn't even had time to look around when it spotted Ji Zuodao in front of it.

Its tiny, sunken, bean-sized ghost eyes suddenly burst forth with astonishing light. Forgetting all decorum, it immediately began circling Ji Zuodao, bowing and scraping, spewing out a torrent of flattery:

"Oh my! Master! I've missed you so much! It's been so long since I last saw you. Your complexion is even more rosy, and your cultivation has improved even more. Your demeanor and bearing are even more imposing than our Judge..."

"Get lost."

Before it could finish speaking, Ji Zuodao raised his foot and kicked its swollen belly with a soft "plop".

"Get the job done. Stop flattering and get to work. Show that red-haired bastard on the ground what your special skills are."

"Yes, yes, yes! You're absolutely right, sir! I promise I'll do a fantastic job!"

The hungry ghost, far from being angry at being kicked, seemed to be greatly encouraged, his fawning smile widening as he turned around, bowing and scraping.

When its beady green eyes swept over the red-haired foreigner on the ground, who was still twitching slightly, his consciousness blurred by blood loss and fear—

The hungry ghost froze for a moment.

Immediately, an indescribable emotion, a mixture of ecstasy, greed, and a kind of almost pilgrimage-like excitement, spread across its ugly face.

"Foreign devil! He gave this to me?"

Its voice trembled as it extended its withered, claw-like fingers, pointed at the red-haired foreigner, then turned to Ji Zuodao, asking as if to confirm:

"Sir...this...this is alive? Breathing? Warm?!"

After receiving a disdainful look from Ji Zuodao, the hungry ghost danced with excitement:

"My goodness! It's real! I've only ever seen pictures of this in the 'Atlas of Foreign Creatures' textbook in the underworld!"

It licked its non-existent lips, a greedy smile spreading across its bluish-gray face:

"Today I can finally try something new."

The red-haired foreigner finally snapped out of his daze.

As the hideous monster drew closer, the most primal fear deep within his soul was completely unleashed!

"No! No! Stay away! Demon! Devil!"

He scrambled backward, emitting a distorted scream, and a dark stain quickly spread across his crotch.

The hungry ghost chuckled, and the skin on his thin, bony back began to writhe violently and irregularly.

"Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!"

A series of chilling, muffled thuds, as if flesh were being forcibly torn apart.

Six thin, bluish-gray arms, with sharp bone spurs at their joints and hook-like fingertips, burst out from its back and danced nimbly in the air like spider appendages.

Then, these six newly grown arms, with a precise and cruel rhythm, stretched out in unison and pressed down firmly on the red-haired foreigner's limbs, head, and torso!

The force was so great that the ground sank slightly, and the red-haired foreigner let out a short, suppressed groan of pain.

"Points to note."

Ji Zuodao crossed his arms and lazily offered a reminder from the side.

"Don't pull it out too quickly. Let him properly feel how this source of trouble is being pulled out."

"Alright, sir! You can rest assured!"
