I just became a mage, and my skills have become supernatural? What the heck?

Inside the Trial Tower, a faint smell of burning permeated the air.

The fighting continues, or more accurately, a one-sided massacre continues.

Om-!

As the teleportation array lit up, the monsters on the third floor just began to appear.

Immediately following was a baptism of fireballs descending from the sky.

"Boom boom boom—!"

The muffled sound of the explosion echoed inside the earthen wall, and the ground trembled slightly.

[Congratulations to Lin Mo! You have cleared the third level! Time: 3 seconds!]

Lin Mo didn't even lift his eyelids, but simply shifted to a more comfortable position lying on his side, chewing on a piece of jerky.

Fourth floor...

The fifth floor...

The same scene keeps repeating itself.

Whether it's the skeleton soldiers wielding rusty knives or the shadow panthers trying to use their speed advantage to launch a sneak attack.

Anyone who dares to teleport over will inevitably be met with a full-range [Multiple Explosive Fireball].

[The Earth Shield spell exclaimed in genuine admiration: "Big brother is amazing! Big brother is mighty!"]

[The Fireball spell scoffed: "Hmph, of course. You'd better learn from this. But your cage is actually pretty decent."]

"..."

Lin Mo's lips twitched slightly.

This little fireball is acting like a big brother; now everyone knows it's the CPU's little brother.

……

The nineteenth floor!

Along the way, we've encountered goblins and steppe wolves.

The orcs with shields were bombarded at the teleportation point as soon as they teleported over, and they couldn't get out at all.

[Congratulations to Lin Mo! You have cleared the 19th floor! Time: 42 seconds!]

A golden light shot into the sky.

Lin Mo's level has reached Lv.18.

"Not bad, I'm level 18 now. I only need to be 2 levels away from learning 'Lightning Strike'."

Although fire and earth elements are very strong right now, as a mage, who can resist the lightning that represents speed and destruction?

[Fireball Technique, beaming with arrogance: Little Lei? Am I going to have another follower? But it's good that you're here. From now on, Little Earth will take the hits, Little Lei will run errands, and I'll just focus on looking cool.]

[Earth Shield Technique rubbed his hands excitedly: Am I going to be the second oldest brother too?]

"..."

Lin Mo shook his head helplessly.

quickly,

The broadcast started again, interrupting Lin Mo's thoughts.

Attention test takers!

"We're about to enter the twentieth floor!"

"Monster level on this floor: Lv.22! Includes flying monsters! Please prepare for air defense!"

Upon hearing this, Lin Mo raised an eyebrow slightly.

Is there a flying monster?

My own earthen wall can't even seal the roof now.

Besides, how can you explode a Fireball spell if it's capped?

[The Earth Shield spell instantly tensed up, becoming anxious: Master, what should we do? Should we burrow underground later?]

Upon hearing this, Lin Mo's heart skipped a beat.

The memory of my last adventure to the center of the earth is still fresh in my mind.

"What's the panic? With your older brother here, you'll still die if you come out. Don't do anything reckless, Xiao Tu. Don't burrow underground until the very last moment!"

[Earth Shield Technique lowers its head: Alright, Master...]

As they spoke, the countdown reached zero.

"Gah—!!!"

Accompanied by a piercing shriek, ten gray-white monsters with bat wings appeared from the teleportation point.

Gargoyle, Lv.22, x9

Gargoyle (Elite), Lv.22 x1

The elite gargoyle at the head was a size larger than the ordinary one, and its body emitted a faint dark red aura.

As soon as they appeared, they instinctively took flight.

[Fireball Spell: Disdainfully, Heh, sorry, no flying allowed in my territory!]

[Fireball spell roars: Bomb me!]

The fireball soared into the air, splitting into fifteen tracking fireballs that precisely locked onto the gargoyle that had just taken off.

Boom boom boom boom boom boom—!!!

Flames shot into the sky, and waves of heat rolled in.

This wave of firepower was still terrifying.

However, an accident occurred.

Although Lin Mo's skill damage was much higher than that of mages of the same level, one of them was a level 22 elite monster.

In addition, without the top-tier cooldown reduction gear, they are unable to maintain continuous firepower suppression.

After the first wave of bombardment, the remaining elite gargoyle was still alive!

[Fireball Spell: Hmph, still not dead? Take another one from me!]

Another fireball roared away.

boom!

A burst of flames erupted.

The massive elite gargoyle was charred black, but its health bar still held firm with a sliver remaining!

not dead!

At this moment, both [Multiple Explosive Fireballs] and [Fireball] went into cooldown.

Taking this opportunity, the elite gargoyle flapped its tattered wings and broke free of its cage!

Those scarlet eyes instantly locked onto Lin Mo on the ground.

[The Earth Shield caster let out a pig-like scream: "Aaaaaah! We let a monster through! Dude, you let a monster through!!"]

[Earth Shield Technique: Extreme Panic! Help! Master, watch out!]

Boom!

Just as the gargoyle was about to pounce on Lin Mo, a mud wall rose up from the ground.

The gargoyles' claws were utterly ineffective against the Wailing Wall.

"Xiao Tu, you reacted quickly. I knew you'd be reliable in a crucial moment."

Lin Mo was generous with his praise.

Lin Mo is well-versed in the art of PUA (Pick-Up Artist) techniques.

The more you praise it, the more valuable it feels, the stronger its protective instincts become, and the harder it works.

This is called the way of mastering skills, with clear rewards and punishments.

[Upon hearing the praise, Earth Shield was instantly moved to tears: "Waaah, as long as I'm here, no one can touch a hair on Master's head!"]

at the same time.

The elite gargoyle, dazed and confused, did not give up.

It circled the earthen wall, flapped its wings again, and took flight, preparing to attack from above.

Lin Mo raised his head and met the gaze of the gargoyle in mid-air.

"Oh, I guess I'll have to do it again."

next moment,

He made a gun gesture with his hand and pointed it directly at the gargoyle.

"In your next life, don't mess with a cheater."

Om-!

Dark red light suddenly condensed on his fingertips.

"Bang."

Lin Mo parted her lips slightly.

A spiraling, dark red line of fire tore through the air and instantly pierced the gargoyle.

Blackened pebbles were scattered all over the ground.

[Congratulations to Lin Mo! You have cleared the twentieth floor!]

[Time taken: 9 seconds!]

Lin Mo blew away the non-existent gunpowder smoke from his fingertips.

"It's alright, nothing serious happened."
