Reincarnation Paradise: Passion Leads to Greatest Success

After sending Mia back to her private room, Fang Yu headed straight for the equipment enhancement hall.

"Ah!! My +6!!!"

"Bro, calm down, calm down!!"

"Damn it! You just glanced at me and smashed my gear! If you don't pay me back, I'll snipe you!!"

"Dude, lend me 10 Paradise Coins. If I don't get to +5 today, I'll kill myself!!"

From afar, Fang Yu could hear various pitiful wails coming from inside the hall. Anyone who didn't know better would think that it was a casino, and a group of people were throwing a tantrum in despair because they had lost all their money.

Then a series of messages appeared in front of the building:

"Again, I'm a dog!"

"Enhancement can ruin your life, provided you have it; I don't have it anymore anyway."

How did you guys get to +4?

Woof woof woof.

Compared to the serious atmosphere of the other buildings, this equipment enhancement hall was a complete reversal of style. Even though he had been there once before, Fang Yu still found it hard to look at it again.

What kind of weirdos are these?

Although he had heard the rumors here, such as someone else reaching +7 in one step, or someone spending tens of thousands of Paradise Coins only to reach +2, and biting anyone they saw, etc.

Now that I see it, it truly lives up to its reputation.

The hall was very large, covering several thousand square meters, and was well-lit. Machines that looked like vending machines were embedded in the walls, and in front of most of them, a contractor was nervously watching the display screen.

After a quick glance, Fang Yu picked out an empty machine and then raised his hand to press on the display screen.

Welcome to Equipment Enhancement Machine No. 1314.

[Checking in progress, the Contractor Enhancement Record is empty.]

[Let's begin explaining matters related to equipment enhancement.]

Enhancing equipment is a form of amplification; the improvement effect is determined based on the equipment's inherent properties.

……

[94600 Paradise Coins remaining. Please place the equipment that needs upgrading.]

chi...

Large amounts of steam billowed from both sides of the machine, while a heavy tray appeared in the middle.

Seeing this, Fang Yu took out the black blade and placed it on the tray, then watched as the tray slowly retracted into the machine. At the same time, the display screen also changed.

"strengthen."

[Intensity begins, 5 minutes countdown.]

As the countdown began, the machine started running, making a tremendous noise accompanied by the hum of electricity, giving Fang Yu the feeling that the machine was working desperately hard.

He wasn't startled by the message outside the door, nor by the person who had just fainted. Instead, he was startled by the equipment enhancement machine, fearing that this old relic might suddenly malfunction and be swallowed by his black blade.

Fortunately, five minutes passed smoothly, the machine emitted a stream of steam, and the pusher plate, carrying the black blade, slowly moved out.

The screen also displayed a message indicating that the enhancement was successful.

[Enhancement successful, Black Blade +1]

At this moment, the black blade seemed to have become even more profound due to the successful enhancement.

Fang picked it up and examined it.

Attack power: 31~49 (increase by 3~5)

Equipment Effect 1: Sharpness +11 (Upgrade by 1)

"interesting."

After glancing at the bonus attributes, Fang Yu felt curious and then began to enhance the attributes again.

For the next upgrade, he chose to upgrade continuously, with each upgrade costing 3000 Paradise Coins.

[Enhancement successful, Black Blade +8]

With the tremendous commotion caused by Fang Yu's repeated successful enhancements, the people who had gathered around were completely stunned.

When did upgrading equipment become so easy?

At levels six and seven, failure to enhance the equipment will result in the enhancement level being reset to zero, while level eight enhancement may even damage the equipment.

The person in front of them had never failed in his upgrades up to level eight. He himself seemed calm and collected, but the people watching were terrified. Even if they wanted to advise him to quit while he was ahead, they couldn't bring themselves to say it because of his successful example.

Is this the park's favorite son?

"Bro, please help me upgrade! I'm willing to pay 1 Paradise Coins, please, please!"

"I've reserved this machine. I'll be next after this guy leaves!"

"Why should I? Just because you can't even upgrade to Enhancement 3?"

"Huh? Do you want to die?!"

Fang Yu ignored the surrounding noise and picked up the black blade to check the enhancement level 8 bonus.

……

Upgrading both pieces of equipment to +8 cost a total of 32400 Paradise Coins.

Fang Yu glanced at the 62200 Paradise Coins he had left, and after thinking for a moment, decided to upgrade another piece of equipment, the "Gauss Pistol".

Each upgrade costs 1400 Paradise Coins, and upgrading to +8 costs 11200.

With the final enhancement successful, Fang Yu hurriedly picked up his pistol, not even bothering to check its attributes, and quickly left the equipment enhancement hall.

There was nothing to it but the increasingly clear panting behind me, like countless cows in heat.

It's one thing to not be able to make a move in the park, but who would like to face dozens of pairs of eyes that are so full of glare that they're almost drooling?

We walked out of the equipment enhancement hall, where insults and abuse continued to pour in.

Fang Yu headed towards the arena. Considering that he would inevitably encounter the contractors of Paradise in the future derivative worlds, and now that his resources were almost used up, getting to know the contractors' fighting style was one of the most important things to do at the moment.
