"Eiji Ono?" Zhong He frowned, looking at the man with the small mustache. "What are you doing here? And with so many reporters?"

The visitor was named Eiji Ono, a teacher at the "Karate Hall" across the street from the Third Martial Arts Hall. In recent years, in order to promote exchanges among martial artists, Japan has established many karate halls in Unkai City.

"Don't be nervous, Teacher Zhong. I'm not here to cause trouble. It's just that your apprentice injured another of my apprentices two days ago, and I have to come here to demand an explanation."

Ono Eiji, who had a small mustache, reached out and pulled out a martial arts performer from behind. The performer looked to be about seventeen or eighteen years old, but his head was wrapped in bandages, indicating that he had suffered a serious injury.

"Teacher Zhong, my student's name is Matsumoto Tsuyoshi. He is a gentle and courteous student who would never deliberately cause trouble. I think there must have been some misunderstanding that led to their conflict."

Ono Eiji smiled broadly, but a cunning glint appeared in his eyes. Qin Wuchen watched this scene and felt a sense of familiarity.

This is a common tactic used by martial artists in Japan; Qin Wuchen had seen it many times during his travels in China.

Zhong He looked at the martial arts performer whose head was wrapped in bandages and fell into deep thought for a moment. He frowned and then said to the performer:

"Tell me, who hurt you?"

The martial arts student sobbed, then pointed to the students.

At his signal, everyone turned to look at Su Mufeng. Su Mufeng was momentarily flustered. He wanted to say something, but before he could speak, Zhong He scolded him.

"Su Mufeng! Step forward!"

Su Mufeng was so frightened that he trembled all over. Then he slowly walked out of the crowd and came to Zhong He's side, and lowered his head.

"Apologize!" Zhong He glanced down and then said sternly.

Su Mufeng gripped his black martial arts uniform tightly, his expression contorted in pain.

"I'll say it again, apologize to me!" Zhong He scolded him again when he saw that he hadn't spoken yet.

Su Mufeng finally spoke, his voice trembling with sobs and choked with emotion. However, he didn't apologize; instead, he pointed at Matsumoto Tsuyoshi and shouted:

"He insulted Chinese martial arts first; he should apologize first!"

As soon as he finished speaking, all the students behind him widened their eyes and stared at Su Mufeng in disbelief.

"Is he crazy? How dare he defy Teacher Zhong? Does Su Mufeng think that with the Su family's protection, Zhong He won't dare to hit him?"

"Yes, you know, even the old master of the Su family treats Teacher Zhong with great respect. How did he manage that?"

The students were all thinking to themselves, as if they had witnessed something utterly unbelievable.

"What did you say?" Zhong He gasped, then swiftly pulled a ruler from his sleeve and raised it. "Say it again! Who taught you to disobey your teacher?"

Su Mufeng's soft sobs echoed throughout the entire hall, but he still managed to suppress his fear and say in a trembling voice:

"He insulted Chinese martial arts first, saying that Chinese martial arts are all show and no substance. Moreover, we agreed before the match that it was just a friendly sparring session in private and that we were not allowed to tell anyone."

"He broke his promise first and told Master!"

Although the sound was faint, it still carried throughout the entire hall, and everyone present heard it clearly. Matsumoto, whose head was wrapped in bandages, panicked for a moment upon hearing it and quickly shouted:

"You're talking nonsense! I never said anything like that. You ambushed me when I was going back to my dorm!" Matsumoto Tsuyoshi said righteously.

"Look, they've already said that, and you still dare to argue with me?!" Zhong He immediately rebuked him upon hearing this.

Upon hearing this, Su Mufeng was filled with resentment and immediately retorted, "Why do you believe what he says but not what I say?"

Upon hearing this, a shadow fell over Zhong He's face. At that moment, he slowly raised the ruler again. Su Mufeng's pupils trembled upon seeing this, and he quickly covered his head.

"I brought you into the martial arts world not so you would disobey your teacher, nor so you would spar with others in private..."

Zhong He spoke slowly, yet with an air of authority, and then a massive, towering ruler slowly descended.

Snapped!

Just then, Qin Wuchen stepped forward and grasped Zhong He's wrist.

"Professor Zhong, you can't say that. Look at this scene. Since Mr. Eiji Ono brought so many reporters and students, it means he has other purposes."

Qin Wuchen wore a kind smile, but his right hand remained motionless, as stiff as steel. Zhong He tried to continue downwards with force, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't advance any further.

What's going on? How come this guy is so strong? Could he have done something to it?

Zhong He was filled with surprise and confusion.

However, upon hearing Qin Wuchen's words, Ono Eiji stepped forward and smiled, "Teacher Zhong, what this gentleman said is indeed correct. I have another purpose for coming here."

Upon hearing this, Zhong He cast a puzzled look at him. Not wanting to stand there idly and let others notice anything amiss, he took the opportunity to loosen his grip.

Qin Wuchen immediately released his grip, and Zhong He put the ruler back into his sleeve.

"Oh? What's your purpose, Mr. Eiji Ono? Please tell me."

Eiji Ono adjusted his glasses, revealing only a small portion of his eyes, which were almost squinted shut, and said with a smile:

"Zhong He's disciple defeated my student. Although fighting in private is wrong, I believe this is an opportunity, based on the principle that the martial arts world needs to exchange ideas with each other."

"An opportunity?" Zhong He frowned, but Qin Wuchen smiled slightly, understanding the other party's intentions.

"That's right. We both run martial arts schools and teach martial arts practitioners. Why not take this opportunity to have a fair and square spar? Look, I've even invited the reporters. Teacher Chung can't refuse me."

Zhong He glanced around at the reporters with cameras, who then seized the opportunity to stir up trouble.

"Yes, Teacher Zhong, we've long heard of your renowned reputation in the Chinese martial arts education world and have always wanted to meet you. Please grant our request."

"That's right, Teacher Zhong. We can also take this opportunity to promote the reputation of the Third Martial Arts Association, which will be beneficial to the spread of Chinese martial arts."

"Please say yes to Mr. Eiji Ono!"

"Just say yes!"

Amidst the commotion, Zhong He finally realized Ono Eiji's purpose, and he couldn't help but let out a cold laugh:

"Eiji Ono, you've gone to such lengths. If I don't agree, wouldn't that be cowardice? I agree to your proposal."

"Teacher Zhong is so straightforward. In that case, let's get started right away."

After he finished speaking, the reporters quickly set up their cameras, and the venue was the existing space in the clubhouse.

Zhong He turned and walked towards the students. He glanced at Qin Wuchen and said in a low voice, "Kid, let's talk about our business later."

After he finished speaking, he led the students to the lounge, while Eiji Ono's students used another temporary lounge.
