Sun Chengwu was a bit older than Bai Zhan.

But today, Bai Zhan taught him a lesson.

Sometimes, you may want to stay out of trouble, but the environment doesn't allow it.

To achieve this goal, you must seize power.

Bai Zhan extended another invitation to Sun Chengwu, "Work with me, I admire you."

This time, Sun Chengwu did not refuse. "Okay."

Upon receiving Sun Chengwu's affirmative answer, Bai Zhan's gloomy expression dissipated considerably.

He said to Sun Chengwu, "We need to think of a way to drive the polar bears away."

Sun Chengwu said, "For polar bears, this place is a monster spawn point. As long as they don't leave, they will always have meat to eat."

The Arctic environment is harsh, and polar bears usually struggle to find food. So, when they stumble upon a buffet-like feeding area, they certainly won't leave easily.

Bai Zhan asked, "What are your thoughts?"

Sun Chengwu looked through the cabin window at the first-class cabin on the other side. The first-class cabin was in a mess, and the people in the seats had all turned into corpses.

When an aircraft makes an emergency landing, the cockpit and first-class cabin suffer the greatest impact, and none are spared.

Sun Chengwu thought for a moment and said, "We can lure the polar bears away with the carcasses, but that's only temporary; they'll come back."

Bai Zhan said, "Let's drive the polar bear away first, and then we'll consider whether it will come back."

"Once the polar bears leave, our voice among the survivors will increase, and people will spontaneously defend us, preventing tragedies like this from happening again."

Sun Chengwu said, "Then let's wait until it's full and leaves."

No one dared to speak inside the cabin; even breathing became extremely shallow, for fear that a polar bear would hear the noise and rush in.

Time seemed to pass slowly. The sound of the polar bear devouring the carcass was amplified in the silent cabin. Many people covered their mouths, suppressing their sobs, tears streaming down their faces.

This also caused them to start to dehydrate.

Hunger and dehydration occurred simultaneously, leaving many survivors weak and unable to move, forced to sit and endure the cold.

Without food, the body cannot produce enough heat, creating a vicious cycle.

In the darkness, a child whispered, "I'm so hungry."

The child's mother held his head and whispered, "Go to sleep, you won't be hungry if you fall asleep."

The child opened his eyes, his gaze innocent, and said, "Mommy, I want to eat steak."

The child's mother looked up and glanced in the direction of the business class cabin.

She remembered that the meals served on the plane included steak.

It should be in the hands of Bai Zhan and others.

She pursed her lips and whispered, "You go to sleep first. Once you're asleep, Mom will take you to eat steak."

The child naively believed it, closed his eyes, and smiled happily.

The child's mother felt a deep bitterness in her heart.

Thinking of her past happy life and comparing it to her current suffering, tears fell from her eyes.

After dark, the polar bear finally finished eating, and, swaying its massive body, found a snowdrift and crawled inside.

Once it was fast asleep, Sun Chengwu, Bai Zhan, and a few of Bai Zhan's bravest subordinates jumped out of the cabin.

Sun Chengwu nearly slipped and fell as his feet slid on the red blood.

Only skeletons with bits of meat stuck to them remained on the ground; some bones had been crushed into fragments by the polar bear's powerful bite.

The lingering, strong smell of blood in the air made several people's stomachs churn.

Fortunately, they hadn't eaten much all day, which helped them hold back from vomiting.

Sun Chengwu pointed towards the first-class cabin, "The body is in the nose of the plane."

Bai Zhan nodded.

The group tiptoed toward the first-class cabin.

As Sun Chengwu passed through the damaged bulkhead, he found the bodies on the seats frozen solid. He unbuckled the seatbelt of one of the corpses and tried to move it, only to find that it was frozen to the seat.

The body felt cold to the touch, a sensation unlike that of the cadavers I encountered at school.

Sun Chengwu tried to tell himself that this was just a vivid social practice lesson.

He silently apologized, braced himself on the seat with both hands, and kicked the corpse in the chest with a thud.

The body finally collapsed from its seat.

Sun Chengwu dragged the corpse out of the breach and laid it on the ground.

Soon, Bai Zhan and the others also dragged the corpses out.

After putting the body down, he squatted on the ground and couldn't help but start dry heaving.

All the corpses had suffered various fatal wounds. The man Sun Chengwu was carrying had been pierced by fragments of the broken bulkhead, with the fatal wound located near his heart.

The corpse Bai Zhanxuan chose had half its head cut off, and you could even see frozen brain tissue.

Looking at Sun Chengwu's composed demeanor, Bai Zhan couldn't help but give him a thumbs up. "Those who study medicine are all amazing."

After a while, one of Sun Chengwu's men also crawled out, dragging a woman's corpse with him.

The woman was wearing a fleece-lined cheongsam and a small vest, giving off a vibe reminiscent of Shanghai at night.

However, the woman's throat had been cut open, and the ice that had formed on her body was red.

The subordinate, however, seemed quite excited. "Brother Bai, Brother Sun, this woman is so beautiful even in death. She must have been a beauty when she was alive."

Sun Chengwu has a slight case of face blindness, and there aren't many people he can remember. The round-faced, comedic-looking young man in front of him is one of them.

His name is Guan Zhou. Like Bai Zhan, he is a second-generation rich kid and also an overseas student.

He's lecherous and a bit perverted.

After a short break, everyone continued.

All the bodies in the first-class cabin were moved out, and it was already completely dark.

The temperature continued to drop, and even though he was wrapped in two coats, Sun Chengwu was still shivering from the cold.

The snot dripped out and quickly froze into ice, blocking my nostrils.

They dragged the body away from the plane.

A cold wind blows, and a layer of white snow powder skims across the blue ice beneath our feet, creating a dreamlike effect.

No one had the heart to appreciate the beautiful scenery; both the frigid temperature and the corpses in their hands were testing their will.

After walking nearly a hundred meters, Sun Chengwu stopped, dropped the body, and said, "Leave it here for now."

They moved the bodies multiple times, eventually transporting all of them out.

Just then, Sun Chengwu suddenly heard a cracking sound coming from under his feet.

Cracks began to spread from beneath his feet.

Sun Chengwu was startled and quickly lay down on the ice.

He shouted, "Get down!"

The crowd immediately lay down on the ice, forming large "X" shapes.

Friends in the north should know that when ice cracks, you should lie down to increase the surface area exposed to the force.

Fortunately, the ice layer was thick enough that it only cracked and did not break completely.

Lying on the ice, Sun Chengwu's body quickly became frozen. Only after the cracks stopped spreading did he carefully stand up.

He took a few tentative steps, then breathed a sigh of relief and said, "It's alright now, everyone be careful and walk slowly."
