Christmas is as important to them as the Spring Festival is to us.

However, these Russians plan to celebrate Christmas and Chinese New Year together, since they are bordering China and have adopted some of its customs.

But they don't celebrate Lunar New Year's Eve; for us, Lunar New Year's Eve is more important than New Year's Day.

However, they don't have that much time left since they have to wait more than two months until Lunar New Year's Eve. They can only wait until they find a new suitable campsite before making preparations again.

More than ten hours later, the bald man and his group returned, dragging an evergreen tree, and stood it at the entrance of the camp.

Russians and beautiful people gathered around the Christmas tree, cheering enthusiastically.

Sun Chengwu couldn't understand their culture of cheering for a tree, but he respected it.

They started looking for colorful strips of cloth to hang on, and carefully prepared gifts, mostly food or handmade trinkets.

These Europeans and North Americans displayed their innate optimism, singing and dancing even in the frigid Arctic, surrounded by a tree and a fire.

They didn't have a "peace apple".

However, they found some blue and red berries in areas closer to the coast where the temperature wasn't so low.

Sun Chengwu knew that some berries in the Arctic were edible, but he wasn't sure if the berries they found were edible.

Out of caution, Sun Chengwu still reminded the bald man and the others, "Be careful of these fruits, they might be poisonous."

The bald man didn't care. "It's okay, it's just a few small fruits, they won't kill you."

Left with no other option, Sun Chengwu had to ask Ataya for help in identifying the object.

Ataya has helped with chores since she was a child and knows these berries well. She can immediately recognize the red berries as Arctic bearberries.

She quickly stopped her, saying, "These fruits are bearberries, you can't eat them, they'll poison you!"

After hearing this, the bald man asked in confusion, "Bear fruit, isn't that the fruit that polar bears eat?"

If it can eat it, why can't I?

After saying that, he had already put two pieces in his mouth.

Many people have already eaten these fruits.

Ataya stamped her feet in frustration, "These fruits are sour and poisonous!"

Unfortunately, nobody listened to him.

Since it was a holiday, Sun Chengwu couldn't just rob them directly. He simply asked Ataya, "Can you kill people by eating this?"

Ataya explained, "A small amount is fine."

Sun Chengwu noticed that they hadn't eaten much. Fruits are hard to find in the Arctic, and vitamins are scarce everywhere. Fruits are extremely precious to any animal.

So the bald guy only brought back a few dozen.

These fruits can be shared; everyone can eat a few, and they won't die.

Sun Chengwu then ignored him, saying, "Ataya, if they don't die from eating, we don't need to worry about them. Consider it a lesson for them."

At this point, the dinner had reached its climax, and they began to cut the grouse.

There weren't many grouse, and each person could only get a few pieces of meat, but they were still very happy. Every time they received a piece of meat, they would cheer enthusiastically.

Sun Chengwu also shared a few pieces, but he didn't dare to eat any of the fruit that the bald man handed him.

As the night deepened, even in the polar night when it was impossible to tell what night it was, Baldy and the others finally couldn't take it anymore, and suppressed groans of pain echoed from both dormitories.

Sun Chengwu was woken up from his sleep. Rogers' face turned green. He gritted his teeth and said painfully, "Boss, everyone is in so much pain. Can you go and help take a look?"

Rogers hadn't forgotten that Sun Chengwu was a doctor.

However, Sun Chengwu gave himself the medical certificate; he was actually an intern.

He didn't have any good solutions for the poisoning.

Out of humanitarian concern, Sun Chengwu got up and went to the dormitory.

As soon as I opened the door, I was hit by a foul, sour smell and a chorus of farts.

Sun Chengwu was so overwhelmed by the fumes that he took two steps back.

He felt that if he stayed inside for even two more seconds, he would also be poisoned.

Sun Chengwu stood at the door and asked, "What symptoms do you have?"

Rogers clutched his stomach, his face pale, and said, "It hurts, like my stomach has been wrung out like a rag."

I need to go to the toilet, but I can't.

I feel nauseous, but I can't vomit.

Rogers had the mildest symptoms, possibly because he ate the least.

Sun Chengwu sighed helplessly, "Go and wake everyone up and boil water."

At this point, besides boiling water and drinking more hot water to cleanse the intestines, Sun Chengwu didn't have any other good solutions.

These people are absolutely insane; they'd risk their lives just to celebrate Christmas.

Despite it being night, the camp was brightly lit with fires of all sizes, as people began to boil water.

Some of the milder cases of poisoning were given water to drink.

Sun Chengwu really didn't want to enter that gas chamber.

After a whole night of commotion, many people started to have diarrhea, and their symptoms were relieved.

But Baldy and Williams never got better.

Rogers said, "When they heard that the fruit was poisonous, they had a contest to see who could eat more to prove their physical strength."

When Sun Chengwu heard these words, his mind went blank for a moment.

No, it's one thing for him to be brainless, but why is Williams involved too?

Sun Chengwu didn't want to pay attention to the two of them.

However, the symptoms of these two people are quite serious. So far, they have not had diarrhea, but instead vomited a lot of green water mixed with undigested food residue.

This indicates that their stomachs have suffered severe trauma.

"You should move them out."

After the two people were moved out of the gas chamber and placed in a separate small room, Sun Chengwu went in to check on them.

The room still smelled a bit; they'd all gotten a little pickled.

Upon seeing Sun Chengwu, the bald man raised his hand and groaned, "Brother, save me."

Williams was also deathly pale, his dark lips turning a soft pink. "Boss, are we going to die?"

Sun Chengwu took their pulses.

The pulse was irregular, but the beating was still quite strong.

Sun Chengwu breathed a sigh of relief, "You won't die, but you two will definitely suffer for a while."

How much did you eat?

Williams said, "I ate twelve."

The bald man said, "I have thirteen."

Williams immediately sat up. "You clearly have eleven!"

The bald man panicked, sat up, and shouted, "You're talking nonsense! I ate thirteen of them, I won!"

Williams retorted, "I knew you weren't honest! You Russians have absolutely no sense of contractual responsibility!"

The bald man yelled, "You black devil, let's have another one if you dare!"

Williams shouted, "Come on, who's afraid of who!"

Sun Chengwu's head was spinning from their noise, so he turned and left.

Rogers and Anisi, standing outside, heard the arguing inside and asked somewhat guiltily, "Boss, what's wrong with them?"

Sun Chengwu said with a dark face, "It seems they're not in enough pain. Let them bear it themselves."
