After months of fruitless efforts, even the atmosphere within the Superman regime had reached rock bottom.

Not everyone in the Injustice League supports Superman's increasingly extreme actions. The reason they support Superman is simply because the Joker's crimes were indeed too numerous to count.

In the first year of the Superman regime's establishment, Injustice Superman had not yet completely changed. Driven by anger and hatred, his behavior was still influenced by the past "Mother Mother" faction.

In addition, the tragic death of Lois Lane, Superman's beloved, in space while pregnant led most of the Justice League members to sympathize with Superman's plight.

But starting from the second year, Superman began to change.

Anger and hatred twisted his already irritable and easily angered personality, but people still held hope for Superman.

They believe he will return to his familiar self and get the Superman regime back on track.

But now it's the third year.

Superman showed no signs of recovery; instead, he became increasingly paranoid and irritable. Coupled with Batman's repeated clashes with the Rebel Alliance and the sudden addition of a mysterious force to the Rebel Alliance.

The effects of the space light war and the burning of cities by yellow lights continue to unfold.

Even those who supported the regime began to doubt the promises made by the Superman regime to bring absolute peace to the world.

"...How long has it been since he last took off his yellow light?"

In the former Hall of Justice, in a corner near the right-hand lounge, the few remaining key figures of the Superman regime were whispering among themselves.

The Superman of today is no longer the harmonious and cheerful figure he once was. Even though he still promises not to use his super hearing to infringe on his companions' privacy, people are no longer willing to trust him.

Nobody wanted to face a Yellow Lantern Superman who had been suppressing his emotions for over two months, so this brief conversation had to be kept secret.

Shazam, who originally had a kind and honest face, used magic to set up a simple barrier that could trap the sounds of the three people talking.

Hal, who was also wearing a yellow light ring, subconsciously turned the ring on his finger with his other hand and shook his head with a grim expression.

"In matters like this, only if Diana intervenes could there be any chance of persuasion. Now he's inseparable from that ring every day..."

Even someone as strong-willed as Hal would take off his ring before going to sleep each night.

Whether it's a green light or a yellow light, Hal consciously tries to prevent those emotional energies from eroding him for 24 hours a day.

But Superman doesn't need to follow the physiological mechanisms of Earthlings.

The Superman of the past still possessed humanity, which is why, while maintaining his identity as Clark, he forced himself to live the same lifestyle as ordinary Earthlings.

"Ever since that group of suspected reorganized rebels appeared, he has completely abandoned Clark's identity." Now, Superman sits tirelessly on the "throne" representing the head of government in the remodeled Hall of Justice.

The Flash kept his head down, not joining in Shazam and Hal's banter.

The Flash may seem to have grown accustomed to silence, but no one knows that his heart is constantly filled with thoughts of those who have died over the past three years in the struggle between Superman and his regime, whether by accident or intention.

Green Arrow, Black Canary, many of the National Defense Forces whose sovereignty was forcibly taken over by the Superman regime, some fanatics of the Joker cult, and the city residents evaporated by the yellow light radiation.

As a speedster, he can see the changes in life before each death.

The lingering distortion and fear on those people's faces were etched into his mind like a slideshow of tens of thousands of frames.

If Shazam and Hal only occasionally want to talk to Superman...

So the Flash has actually carried out no fewer than ten operations.

Strangely, whenever he sought out Superman alone, wanting to clarify the pain points of Superman's regime...

Another extremely vivid image would then occupy his mind.

Three years ago, Superman held the deceased Lois in his arms, his super hearing repeatedly confirming the immense grief of his beloved and unborn child losing their heartbeat.

As Superman's friend and comrade-in-arms, that scene was also etched into the Flash's memory frame by frame. That's why he swallowed back the words he had prepared time and time again.

Holding only the lingering hope that Superman might be able to turn things around, he continued to work for the Superman regime in a daze.

"Sinesto, that guy is a problem too."

Hal stopped turning the ring and said through gritted teeth.

If the Flash's repeated softening towards his former comrade stems from his deep-seated feelings for Superman, then...

Hal then blamed everything on Seneca for interfering.

That guy, as the master of the Legion of Fear, has now completely abandoned his duty to command the Legion and spends his days hanging around the Superman regime.

Like a treacherous minister in a storybook, he constantly brainwashes Superman.

Shazam glanced at the yellow lantern ring on Hal's hand but didn't comment on the matter.

After losing his Green Lantern ring and witnessing Superman's massacre of the Green Lantern Corps.

Hal now relies on this ring "gifted" by Sinestro to continue to wield the power to serve the Superman regime.

So even if Hal knew the problem, he had no legitimate grounds to openly oppose Sinestro. Even though Superman had assured them that he wouldn't show Sinestro the slightest bit of trust.

But now the facts are clear: Superman is increasingly reliant on the power of the yellow light, and even Sinestro has become a powerful ally in continuing to implement his regime.

Just as the three were frowning and sighing, a magnetic voice rang out slowly from outside the lounge.

"The three of you certainly have a refined taste. Our business hasn't even succeeded yet, so why do we see you hesitating and complaining here every day?"

The yellow light acted like a flashlight, illuminating the dark corner where the three of them were.

Seneca, who was just the center of the criticism and discussion, is now smugly mocking them.

He raised the lamp ring in his hand, and a materialized yellow chain led an ordinary person with a terrified face, who followed closely behind Senisto.

"You guys are hiding here slacking off, while I'm running around for Superman's regime. I really don't know who's truly working hard to implement this regime."

Shazam's attention was drawn to the 'prisoner' behind Senis, and he couldn't help but ask a question.

"Who is that? Why are you arresting him?"

"Ah, you mean Mr. Bucks, the coordinator for the New York City government?"

Sinestro tugged on the chain, causing the man to stumble forward a couple of steps like a dog on a leash. "Eight months ago, Mr. Bucks used his power as coordinator to secretly supply a batch of materials to a branch base of the Rebel Alliance. Now Superman is having a headache over how to dig out the Rebel Alliance's stronghold."

Seneca's smile was somewhat cruel.

"Perhaps we can pry something out of this Mr. Bacchus?"

"You're going to use torture to extract a confession from an ordinary person?!"

Shazam's eyes widened in astonishment as he stepped forward to try and reason with Sinestro.

But the Lord of Fear was not afraid at all, and simply and slowly pulled the chain in his hand.

"You're always so naive. How can a force grow so quickly without us doing the dirty work...?"

Shazam ignored the other's reasoning; he was already furious.

"Release him, or I can't guarantee my fist won't be landing on your face any second now!"
