The aliens who were picked up by Superman at the beginning
Chapter 38 Wheel Battle
As soon as he finished speaking, Zeus raised his hand and waved it. A golden light flashed, and a strange god more than five meters tall appeared in front of him.
This deity was tall and imposing, with a cold and stern face. He wore ancient jade armor, his hands were raised in a circle towards the sky, and his back was slightly heavy, as if he were supporting a heavy object. An extremely heavy gravity field surrounded his body.
Li Zhen was going too fast and didn't have time to brake, crashing straight into the deity.
However, the immense force seemed to vanish into thin air the moment it touched the other's body. Although the other appeared to have been thrown away by Li Zhen's embrace around the waist, their entire body remained as calm as a shifting mountain.
On the contrary, Li Zhen was so shocked by the force of her own impact that her whole body went numb.
The deity slowly lowered its eyes, and its hands, which had been raised in mid-air, slowly clenched together, forming a huge stone fist. With a suffocating gravitational field, it slammed into Li Zhen's back.
With all her cells still operating at their maximum speed, Li Zhen was unable to dodge effectively. Furthermore, her opponent had suppressed her body with a strange gravity field, leaving her helpless as the fist, imbued with terrifying gravity, landed on her back.
"boom--!"
The earth-shattering explosion reverberated throughout the entire God Realm. Li Zhen, like a meteor struck by a meteorite, crashed straight into the God Realm's land hundreds of meters deep, forming a huge hemispherical crater on the ground. Debris and billowing dust gushed out of the crater.
Intense pain swept through Li Zhen's body. Countless cracks appeared in her spine, most of her internal organs were shattered, and blood kept gushing from her mouth, staining the ground in front of her red.
He struggled to lift his head, gazing at the towering figure outside the pit, a look of understanding flashing in his eyes.
Atlas, the Titan who lifted up the Earth.
Atlas stared silently at Li Zhen in the deep pit, his voice deep and reassuring, and began to offer advice.
"Little guy, you should give up. I'm not like Ares. My divine power is not affected by other factors and has been directly bound to the Earth since time immemorial."
The implication was crystal clear: without divine power capable of shaking the earth, one should not even dream of challenging this Titan.
"Pooh!"
Spitting out a mouthful of blood mixed with fragments of internal organs, Li Zhen slowly got up and wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth.
After standing still for two seconds, Li Zhen suddenly looked up at the other person and smiled, her voice somewhat muffled by the constantly oozing blood.
"It's alright, just a minor injury."
Atlas's face darkened.
"Why force yourself like this? You've already witnessed my divine power; aren't you satisfied?"
Before Li Zhen could answer, Wonder Woman's anxious voice came from afar.
"Give up, Lee Jung. Atlas's power isn't much weaker than Superman's!"
Li Zhen did not answer immediately, but slowly flew out of the pit until she was face to face with Atlas before stopping.
Swallowing the blood that surged up in her throat again, Li Zhen turned her head and shook her head in Wonder Woman's direction.
"How can a teacher actively advise a student to give up—he's only capable of superhuman strength."
Then Li Zhen turned around and looked at Atlas, who was waiting quietly.
"What a gentleman."
He raised his hand and beckoned with his finger.
Atlas sighed; the big guy had actually said something no one had expected.
"A brute..."
A massive fist, imbued with a weight beyond description, slammed towards Li Zhen's side. At the same time, an inexplicable gravitational field appeared out of nowhere, intending to lock Li Zhen firmly in place.
The terrifying punch came with a gust of wind, but Li Zhen dodged backward a short distance just before the gravity field hit her.
As the enormous fist grazed past his face, Li Zhen revealed a knowing expression and casually swatted away the horizontal hurricane that was rising up.
"You really are slow."
Seeing that he had been exposed, Atlas was not angry. He simply slowly withdrew his fist and said in a deep voice.
"But you can't move me either. And once we make physical contact, my gravity lock will be several times faster than if it were created out of thin air. Can you withstand another punch from me then?"
"I have to give it a try. I've never faced a unique opponent who's both so strong and so slow before..."
Before he finished speaking, Li Zhen's body blurred into a blur as he threw a jab at Atlas's enormous eyeball.
Atlas's pupils contracted slightly. He hastily raised his hand, his stone-armored arm blocking in front of him, while simultaneously activating the gravity field to try and drag Li Zhen's speed.
But Li Zhen's attack was too fast. With a flicker and sway, she dodged the gravity field, and her fist, with a sharp sound of tearing through the air, slammed heavily into Atlas's forearm armor.
"Thump!"
With a dull thud, the armor, a mixture of jade and stone, cracked open with spiderweb-like fissures, and Atlas's deep voice rang out from behind his forearm.
"If you continue, your injuries will worsen."
Li Zhen ignored it completely, his figure disappearing again, teleporting close to the ground, constantly circling around Atlas, his fists raining down like a storm, each strike containing the extreme power comparable to the sinking of an island, accurately striking the joints and weak points of the armor.
"Snap! Snap!"
The sound of shattering continued as pieces of Atlas's jade armor on his chest, shoulders, and calves flew off, revealing his solid, bronze-colored flesh beneath.
Although he tried his best to fight back with heavy punches, he missed repeatedly due to his slow speed and could only let Li Zhen's fists fall on him.
Dozens of punches left Atlas's armor tattered, with more than a dozen bruises, each deeply embedded in the muscle, revealing ruptured blood vessels beneath the skin, on his exposed shoulders, back, waist, and thighs.
Li Zhen got up and flew away again, just as he was about to continue gathering strength to throw a punch, when his expression suddenly changed.
Excruciating pain washed over his nerves like a tidal wave, and he coughed up another mouthful of blood, which splattered onto Atlas's tattered armor, blooming into a dazzling blood flower.
In that brief moment of distraction, the speed suddenly slowed down.
He gritted his teeth, wanting to speed up again, but the moment his fist struck Atlas's chest and his fingertips touched the other's warm flesh, he froze.
Atlas seized this only opportunity for skin-to-skin contact, and the gravitational field instantly erupted, like an invisible shackle, fixing Li Zhen firmly in place!
"I've got you."
Atlas's voice was devoid of emotion; since the other party refused to listen to his advice, he would no longer show any mercy.
With his right hand clenched into a giant fist, the surrounding air was distorted and collapsed by the immense force, slamming into Li Zhen's lower abdomen with a terrifying power comparable to the Earth falling.
Li Zhen's vision went black instantly. Experiencing such terrifying power again, before she could even feel the pain, her brain entered a brief state of unconsciousness.
The punch landed squarely, instantly caved in the abdomen, and the crisp sound of all the ribs breaking could be clearly heard. Blood gushed out from the corners of the mouth and the nasal cavity, and the bloodied body was sent flying through the air.
"cough……"
After flying an unknown distance, Li Zhen crashed into several small mountains in the distant divine realm before finally stopping. Rock fragments fell down as he collapsed to the ground, the excruciating pain in his spine making it difficult even to lift his head.
But his fingers remained firmly gripping the ground, his nails broken and bleeding, yet he did not loosen his grip. Upon regaining consciousness, the fighting spirit in his eyes did not extinguish; instead, it burned even more intensely due to the excruciating pain.
Atlas leaped into the air, his weight shaking the earth like the heavens falling. Amidst the tremors, he watched as Li Zhen struggled to her feet, fragments of her armor falling continuously.
"Should we continue?"
Li Zhen did not answer, her eyes were slightly vacant, and she suddenly exhaled and disappeared again.
Atlas stood quietly in place, his fists raised silently, alert to any movement around him.
Li Zhen changed tactics once again, feigning a slowdown to allow Atlas to catch her afterimage. Taking advantage of the gap in Atlas's punch, she forcibly accelerated, closed in on her opponent, and concentrated her remaining power in her fist, specifically targeting the bruises left from before to strike hard.
With each strike, Atlas would grunt. After being hit dozens or even hundreds of times due to his inability to parry in time, the bruises on his body gradually turned into dark bloodstains, and the gravity field began to fluctuate unstablely.
Atlas remained calm, his gaze fixed on Li Zhen's afterimage, relentlessly swinging his heavy punches.
He didn't even need to hit her again; the sheer force of the wind he created was enough to make Li Zhen's body tremble uncontrollably.
Li Zhen was caught off guard several times and was struck on the shoulder and back by the force of a punch at close range. The wounds were torn open again, blood soaked her whole body, and her vision began to blur due to blood loss.
But he kept his eyes on Atlas's weakness, and finally, the moment when Atlas missed his punch and lost his balance, he suddenly lunged forward, poured all his strength into his right fist, and slammed it hard into the bruise on Atlas's neck.
Seemingly never expecting that Li Zhen would dare to launch a close-range frontal attack despite being so seriously injured, Atlas didn't even have time to parry.
"Snap!"
The crisp sound of bones cracking drowned out the roar of the earth trembling. Atlas's neck snapped to one side, his massive body swayed, and the gravity field around him instantly became disordered and collapsed.
He looked up at the swaying Li Zhen, and an unexpected smile appeared on his lips. Then he collapsed to the ground with a thud, raising a cloud of rubble and dust, and died completely.
Li Zhen finally relaxed slightly, falling straight onto the scorching hot gravel that had been rubbed by the hurricane several times. Blood gushed from her body, and her wounds continued to ooze blood. The crack in her spine almost ran through her entire back, and even moving a finger caused her excruciating pain.
A robust figure slowly walked towards him through the blood-soaked ground in his blurred vision.
A clear and confident voice rang in Li Zhen's ears.
"I am Hercules—the third god to challenge you."
