The aliens who were picked up by Superman at the beginning
Chapter 56 Reciprocity
Superman wanted to advise Lee Jung not to believe anything Reverse Flash said.
But when he heard about the Flash's whereabouts, Superman couldn't help but ask Reverse-Flash about it.
Now that more than half of the Justice League members have left, and Batman himself is a stubborn man who refuses to believe he is wrong.
The most important thing right now is to find the Flash, who has mysteriously disappeared overnight.
"I'm sorry, I don't want to tell you anything. You're showing a complete lack of respect for a professor."
Reverse-Flash was very rude to Superman, making it clear that he would not inform Superman of any information.
Of course, the implication was obvious: Li Zhen had always been very polite to him.
Li Zhen pointed to the pink-skinned alien who was being held by Superman, his arm bent, looking like a dead dog.
"Take him back first. The Justice League hasn't completely disbanded yet, so there's always somewhere to keep an eye on him. Besides, that girl should be awake by now, right?"
"Oh no, Kara probably has superpowers now."
Reminded by Li Zhenyi, Superman immediately became anxious.
When General Zod first came into contact with the yellow sun on Earth, he couldn't suppress many of his superpowers. If Kara had just casually released some heat vision into the surrounding environment...
Too dangerous.
Superman, however, hesitated to leave, looking at Reverse-Flash.
Li Zhen could only reassure Superman once again.
"Besides, if Mr. Swann wanted to harm me, why did he save me in the first place? It would have been completely unnecessary."
Then Li Zhen looked at the yellow light rings flying around her and felt a little worried.
Even Batman might not be able to keep so many Yellow Lantern Rings safe. Aside from being a physical enhancement device for him, these things are quite dangerous for most people in this world.
Even Superman wearing the Yellow Ring might not be able to maintain his composure; the Blue Scouts are not only known for being weak against magic, but also for being weak against mind control.
Li Zhen himself had simply killed enough people; the allure of the Yellow Lantern Ring was nothing more than hearing Instructor Witrum's lecture again.
The two share a highly similar underlying philosophy, with the only difference being that "bringing conquest" is replaced with "inflicting fear."
Rachel silently opened a purplish-black hole.
"My magical space can store many dangerous items, so I think it shouldn't be a problem to temporarily store a batch of unclaimed 'cosmic weapons'."
Li Zhen's eyes lit up, and with a flick of her finger, the hundreds of yellow light rings scurried into Rachel's space like pigs lining up to dive.
After thinking for a moment, he also grabbed the yellow light ring from the pink-skinned alien's hand and threw it in.
During this time, I slightly tugged at the other person's arm, which revealed the bone fragments, and the poor guy, who was unconscious, even shuddered.
Seeing that there were no more problems on the scene, Superman finally lifted Sinestro into the air, and didn't forget to turn his head and warn Reverse-Flash again.
"You'd better not get any funny ideas—"
Then Superman saw the broken Flash helmet on the ground and finally shook his head helplessly.
"Honestly, I'm starting to wonder which of you two is more likely to hurt the other."
Reverse Lightning snorted coldly and said nothing more.
Li Zhen waved to Superman.
As the blue figure disappeared into the horizon, Li Zhen suddenly gasped softly.
"Oh no, should I ask Superman to pass this on to Batman?"
He pulled the blood-stained letter from his pocket.
Reverse Lightning instinctively glanced over, then suddenly realized something was wrong.
He looked up and saw Li Zhen staring at him thoughtfully.
"Mr. Swann seems to care a lot about this letter."
Reverse Lightning slowly lowered his arms, and the image of the boy in front of him unconsciously overlapped with that of the emperor from a thousand years later in his mind.
The muffled static was filled with vigilance and a hint of masked fear.
"What do you mean?"
Li Zhen smiled and weighed the light envelope in her hand.
"From the moment that Flash from another world showed me his murderous intent, I realized for the first time how powerless I was to fight back against a speedster on the ground who was intent on killing me."
"My mind was on high alert until the moment I killed that Flash."
Li Zhen raised her finger and tapped her temple.
"So I also remembered every word he said until his death."
"Mr. Swann, before that Flash went completely insane, his assessment of you was that you were good at working on details, manipulating fate in subtle ways that no one else noticed, and that you were a person from the future."
Li Zhen held the envelope up to eye level, slowly turning her body until the edge of the envelope obscured the blurry upper half of the face reflected in the reverse flash.
"Sorry, I'm used to being ganged up on, so I can detect even stares from blind spots."
"When I received this letter just now, I didn't need to turn around to clearly feel a gaze fixed on me. Just like now, even through a letter, your gaze can still stimulate me."
"Let me guess, does my future threaten you?"
After a moment of silence, a smile curved at the corner of Reverse Flash's lips beneath the envelope.
He was afraid of the future emperor, not the boy who looked only fourteen years old.
The confidence that came from being a speedster restored his composure to his voice, although others couldn't discern any change in his voice from the perpetually indistinct electronic tone.
"So you're going to kill me for a future that's uncertain in reality?"
Li Zhen put down the envelope, somewhat bored.
"No, to be honest, even if it has evolved again, as long as it is on the ground, I can't do anything to you speedsters."
Having witnessed how the Flash died, Reverse-Flash could never hover in front of him.
The only thing Li Zhen was curious about was why such a notorious DC villain with no bottom line didn't try to go back to the distant past to kill him.
The Vitrum's powerful vitality allowed him to retain consciousness for a period of time even after his heart was pierced.
Before Li Zhen came into contact with the lamp ring, there were clearly many opportunities to harm him.
Excluding the time he spent with Batman and Wonder Woman.
The best time would have been during the period when he was recuperating at Tom's cabin.
A few simple lines of logic flashed through Li Zhen's mind, and she finally arrived at the most incredible and intuitive answer.
During those seven days when he was at his weakest, the Black-Robed Superman was always near him.
As for whether Tom is the mysterious and powerful Superman, Li Zhen is still somewhat uncertain.
Because he clearly remembered that Tom was prone to injury, and that he had scars on his hands from years of fishing.
"No matter what he's been through, or how powerful he is, Superman's core is always kindness. He'd even save someone like me without hesitation."
In Reverse Flash's eyes, Li Zhen suddenly looked up at the sky for no apparent reason, then looked down and examined the envelope.
Even though a large patch of bloodstain covered the postmark, the penmanship, with its rough edges from being soaked in blood, was still barely legible.
Thomas Wayne
"What tricks did you use to tamper with this letter?"
Li Zhen suddenly asked a question.
Reverse Flash clicked his tongue.
"When that crazy Flash left his 'girlfriend's' house, he left this letter on the table. I brought it with me. He was going crazy when he pushed you, and I put it back into his suit while he was out of his mind."
"If I hadn't done all that extra work, you wouldn't even have that wound on your chest. I'm much faster than him—are you really going to pry into other people's privacy like this?!"
While Reverse Flash was explaining, Li Zhen had already opened the envelope and quickly glanced at the blood-stained letter.
After feeling a chill run down his spine, he stuffed the letter back into his hand.
"Spying on Batman's privacy is just reciprocity."
"Now, Mr. Swann, please tell me where the Flash of this world is. I quite like him."
Li Zhen abruptly resumed her polite attitude.
"And the war you just mentioned..."
When the word "war" was mentioned, Li Zhen quickly exchanged a glance with Rachel, who nodded slightly.
Now, Li Zhen probably understands why that Flash seemed so crazy.
