NBA: Starting with the undercut by Parker and Bowen

The Rockets' undefeated streak in the new season has been broken by their loss to the Spurs.

However, their 9-1 record still puts them ahead of the Boston Celtics' 8-1 record, placing them first in the entire league.

However, the situation is not optimistic.

On November 17, the Rockets returned to Houston to face the formidable Phoenix Suns in a back-to-back game.

If last night's Spurs were calm, capable, and steadily secured their victory, then...

Tonight's sun, however, was passionate and dynamic, overwhelming the rocket with its powerful and surging momentum.

117:107.

The visiting Suns ultimately prevailed by 10 points, joining the Spurs in handing the Rockets their second consecutive loss.

I glanced at the statistics after the game.

hiss~~

Yang Lin couldn't help but gasp.

In this game, the Suns' starting five combined for 99 points.

Most importantly, the scores were incredibly evenly distributed.

Besides Grant Hill's 19 points, the other four players – Nash, Stoudemire, Barbosa, and Marion – all scored 20 points.

Looking at our own situation, 226 has caused another disaster.

全场17次出手，仅命中4球，罚球6中4，仅拿到12分6板。

Yang Lin couldn't help but look at Yao Ming with a resentful expression and sighed, "Brother Yao, you..."

"Haha~~ Well..." Yao Ming laughed awkwardly.

no way!

Who told him to swindle again!

The younger brother scored a game-high 32 points, while the older brother dragged the team down.

However, he was also frustrated because the Suns' playing style left him feeling somewhat powerless.

Just as Yang Lin was silently pondering whether they could avenge McGrady's injury once he recovered and returned.

One of the Sun's staff members caught his attention.

Hey!

Isn't that going to be one of the league's top 15 head coaches?

In an instant, Yang Lin recalled that Steve Kerr was now the general manager of the Suns.

If nothing unexpected happens, this dazzling run-and-gun team in front of us is a result of his actions.

Ultimately, it disintegrated, leaving some fans with a lingering sense of regret.

Wait a minute!

It seems to be this year.

Yang Lin decided to take a good look at the competition schedule later.

Don't get beaten up and end up not even having a chance to get revenge. How frustrating would that be?

After two consecutive losses, the Rockets' record fell to 9 wins and 2 losses.

The Celtics didn't play today, so they stayed home and their ranking naturally rose, making them number one in the league.

That's not all!

In a game played later today, Chris Paul led the New Orleans Hornets to a road victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

This brought their record to 9 wins and 2 losses.

Leveraging their superior record in the same division, they seized the opportunity to overtake the Rockets and become the top team in the West.

The Rockets had no games for the next three days.

But bad news kept coming.

On November 18, the Hornets defeated the Clippers 98-89, taking the top spot in the Western Conference standings.

11月19日，太阳100比98险胜国王，战绩变成9胜2负；

11月20日，马刺128比110大胜魔术，战绩变成9胜2负。

I don't know how they were ranked, but the Rockets were suddenly dropped to fourth.

Ah!

It should be fifth.

Their next opponent is the Denver Nuggets.

They currently lead the defending champion Utah Jazz with an 8-3 record, holding the top spot in the Northwest Division.

According to the rule that the top seed in a region advances to the top four in their division, the Nuggets should currently be fourth in the Western Conference.

In just six or seven days, their circumstances changed drastically.

The Rockets players and fans are able to accept this.

After all, no one can win forever, especially since one of our key players is out injured.

But unfortunately, some media outlets always manage to find fault with everything.

Espn reporter McManamin published an article titled "He's the best supporting actor, but not a star."

The article stated: "...At the beginning of the season, the Houston Rockets were on a winning streak, seemingly unstoppable...Everyone thought it was all thanks to the newly crowned Finals MVP. And yes! Of course, he played a part in it."

"But I think we overestimated Young's impact... Tracy's injury and the Rockets immediately suffered two consecutive losses..."

"Looking back now, Young was just a role player, a good role player. He was lucky to play for the Utah Jazz, a team with a strong roster, which is why he won the Finals MVP based on his skills."

"However, even the best supporting actor is still a supporting actor. He can't be a core player, nor is he a star... Someone asked me: Will you vote for Yang in the All-Star game? My answer is: No."

"The All-Star Game is a gathering of star players; the best supporting actors aren't necessarily star players."

The moment this article was published, the internet erupted in a storm of controversy.

Some people think the article is nonsense and utter rubbish.

Some people think that although the article is a bit strange and a bit dark.

However, some of the points made do make sense; Yang Lin does indeed play more of a role player style at present.

Some fans even said bluntly: Look at our family...

If I had to say, ESPN really understands traffic.

This is just like the editors on certain online forums in later generations, piecing together an article, adding a picture, and then relentlessly stirring up trouble in the comments section.

Praise her and she's a fan; criticize her and she's a hater...

Yang Lin was puzzled as to why so many haters had suddenly appeared on his internet.

November 21st marked the 23rd day of the new NBA season.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day, so everyone will be on holiday. Therefore, 13 regular season games will be played today.

After a three-day break, the Houston Rockets will host the Denver Nuggets.

After entering the stadium in the evening, Yao Ming led Yang Lin toward the away team's bench, preparing to greet Carmelo Anthony.

Actually, we weren't familiar with each other, and we weren't on the same path.

Didn't Melo participate in a charity exhibition game hosted by Yao Ming and Nash during the offseason?

As the host, Yao Ming should extend his goodwill at this time.

Regardless of whether he is black in the US, at least he had goodwill towards China this summer.

Unexpectedly, after greeting Yao Ming, Melo suddenly said to Yang Lin, "Brother, you seem to be getting targeted by trolls lately."

Hey~~

Yang Lin was somewhat surprised, and also... happy.

He was even noticed by other star players.

Before Yang Lin could reply, Anthony advised, "Don't take it to heart, that's all nonsense."

"But you also have to remember that the NBA is a basketball court, but it's also a place of interests. Sometimes when you become famous, someone else's reputation will be damaged. And for us, reputation is a stack of knives."

So you understand all of this?

Yang Lin's eyes widened, and he said incredulously, "Then you..."

Anthony flashed his signature smile and explained, "These aren't my own ideas; others told me them. After thinking about it, I realized they make a lot of sense."

"You want to ask me about my rookie season, right?"

He slumped his shoulders and said helplessly, "There's nothing I can do about it. When you're in the thick of it and someone points out your mistakes, you just have to accept it."

After chatting for a few minutes, it was time to part ways.

Anthony laughed and said, "Yang, are you holding back your anger right now? Planning to take it out on the Denver Nuggets tonight and prove yourself to everyone?"

Eh?

Gua Ge really impressed everyone tonight!

Hehe~~

He first smiled smugly, then Anthony suddenly turned fierce.

He declared threateningly, "Stop daydreaming! Victory belongs to Denver. Just wait for your three-game losing streak!"

After saying that, without waiting for Yang Lin's response, he turned around and walked towards the away team's bench.

Wait a minute!

Damn it! You show-off, why are you running away? Give me a chance to talk back!
