NBA: Starting with the undercut by Parker and Bowen

"Yang, congratulations on your victory!"

With a menacing grin, Marion lightly patted Yang Lin's arm and issued a final challenge: "See you next time, Phoenix will be the victor!"

Fun fact: Marion's mother was only fourteen years old when she gave birth to him.

Yang Lin forced a polite smile and replied meaningfully, "Sean, no matter what, victory will never belong to you!"

Ha ha!

Victory belongs to Phoenix.

What does Phoenix's victory have to do with you?

My poor hacker~~

Think more about yourself!

The Miami Heat have entered an era of tanking to gamble on a top draft pick; from now on, losing games will inevitably mean joining their ranks.

So, it's perfectly fine for me, LeBron James, to be traveling all over the place!

For a team, players are just commodities.

What kind of loyalty or "one person, one city" mentality do you have for a mere commodity? Are you out of your mind?

Kobe has been making a fuss all summer, and Duncan Duncan had previously planned to go to Orlando.

The reason it didn't happen was because the price wasn't high enough.

However, thinking about Marion being traded soon, Yang Lin felt a little sad.

Damn it! The era of run-and-gun offense is over.

In Yang Lin's view, Marion was the Suns' third-best player in the run-and-gun era, ranking only after Nash and D'Antoni, and before Stoudemire.

That's right!

In Yang Lin's eyes, Marion was more important than Stoudemire.

Although he is not as good as Stoudemire on offense.

But defense, especially the ability to defend multiple positions, is extremely important for the Suns' run-and-gun offense.

However, given the current situation, Steve Kerr's decision to trade Marion is understandable.

After all, the team's performance has been struggling to improve, and making a trade is the best way to break the existing constraints.

Furthermore, Marion's form has been declining since last season.

His shooting has never been consistent, and as he gets older, his declining athleticism will inevitably weaken him in the Suns system.

Hmm... I understand now.

In hindsight, Kerr's trade cost him his job but earned him the reputation of being incredibly clever among fans.

The revenge against the sun has been successful.

With a record of 13 wins and 3 losses, the Rockets successfully replaced the Suns, who had a record of 12 wins and 4 losses, and took the top spot in the Western Conference.

The Boston Celtics remain the top team in the league, based in the East.

The trio of Garnett, Pierce, and Ray Allen have combined to demonstrate formidable immediate impact, achieving an impressive record of 12 wins and 2 losses so far this season.

The journey continues.

The Rockets flew to Oakland the following day.

On the evening of November 29, the Houston Rockets faced the Golden State Warriors in a back-to-back game.

Fortunately for them, tonight is also the second game of a back-to-back for the Golden State Warriors.

Yesterday they visited Sacramento to challenge the Kings and ultimately won 103-96.

As the "Black Eight" miracle team from last season, the Warriors have received considerable attention from the media and fans since the start of the season.

After all, they are dark horses, and everyone hopes they can continue to be "dark horses" and bring unexpected surprises to all fans.

Unfortunately, the Warriors' performance in the first month of the new season was not great, with their record only reaching .500 last night.

In the Western Conference, where strong teams abound, a 50% winning percentage is not enough to guarantee a place in the playoffs.

If they want to continue to achieve something this season, they must work hard to improve their record.

Hmm... they seem to think so too, and from...

Oracle Arena, Oakland.

At the Warriors' home game against the Rockets, many Asian fans came to support Yao Ming and Yang Lin.

They blatantly wore Rockets jerseys with the numbers 11 and 21, making the Warriors players' teeth itch with envy.

During a pre-game chat, Yang Lin remarked to Yao Ming, "There are so many Chinese and Asian people here. It would be great to join them and play for them someday!"

Hehe~~

Yao Ming chuckled and replied, "Don't be fooled by their current support; it's just because we don't see each other often. They're only supporting their compatriots or people of the same skin color."

"If you join the Warriors and perform poorly, they will criticize you just as harshly as the people here."

"Even as fellow countrymen or people of the same skin color, they might criticize you more, thinking you've embarrassed them."

Hmm! Yang Lin pondered for a moment.

Maybe, perhaps, possibly, 226 is right!

At 9 PM, the game between the Rockets and the Warriors on the road officially tipped off!

With fans at home, and quite a few at that, cheering on the visiting team's stars, how could the Warriors' proud and fierce players tolerate this?

Therefore, after the game started, the Warriors' interim leader, the key figure in last season's upset victory, and the first generation of the bearded Baron Davis led the charge.

Its tank-like physique slammed into Battier's defenses with swift and powerful force.

What the hell!

If those bumps hit me repeatedly, wouldn't my chest be covered in bruises?

Standing not far away, Yang Lin smacked his lips, thankful that he didn't have to defend Davis, otherwise he would have been in trouble tonight.

Everyone says Deron Williams is a little tank.

He looks like a little brother next to Baron Davis, who is the same height but weighs 4 kilograms more than Deron.

Oh! Yang Lin is the same height as them, 191 centimeters.

不过杨林体重只有88公斤，比德隆的91轻3公斤，比戴维斯的95轻7公斤。

Logically, with Yao Ming protecting the rim, the Rockets' interior defense should be able to counter Davis's rim-driving perimeter play.

Unfortunately, playing back-to-back games left Yao Ming somewhat fatigued, and his movements appeared a bit sluggish tonight.

Furthermore, the Warriors are a fast-paced team, the kind that plays in chaotic situations where multiple players can charge forward as soon as they get the ball.

This means the Rockets couldn't force a slowdown tonight.

大鬍子戴维斯首节发挥悍勇，5投5中强势砍下10分2助攻2抢断；

他的队友艾尔-哈灵顿同样单节百分百命中率，单节3投3中，其中三分球2投2中，拿下8分3篮板。

Led by the two players, the Warriors led the visiting Rockets 29-24 in the first quarter, a five-point advantage.

次节史蒂芬-杰克逊接过大旗，单节6投4中，罚球4罚4中，拿到12分2板2助攻；

Davis and Al Harrington also contributed, scoring 7 and 6 points respectively.

The Warriors outscored the Warriors 30-25 in the quarter, winning by another 5 points.

At halftime, the home team, the Warriors, led the Rockets 59-49, a full 10 points ahead.

Yang Lin had previously complained that his team couldn't pull away from the score in the first half.

Now, the score is in double digits at halftime, but the opponent is in the lead.

Being down by 10 points at halftime isn't a huge number.

As long as the Rockets play to their normal level, defend against the Warriors' offense, and score the goals they should score.

Theoretically, they could catch up in just one quarter.

But theory is just theory.

Although both were the second game of a back-to-back, the Warriors displayed far more energy than the visiting Rockets.

To make matters worse, with a little over five minutes left in the third quarter, Baron Davis collided with Yao Ming while driving to the basket.

Due to the intense pain, Yao Ming had to go into the locker room for further examination by the team doctor.

The Warriors outscored the Rockets 24-18, winning the quarter by 6 points, leaving the Rockets trailing by 16 points after three quarters.

The third period is a break between periods.

Adelman squatted down in front of his players, writing and drawing on a tactics board, and explained the tactics to them:

"We need to capitalize on our rotation time in the fourth quarter to try and close the gap as much as possible... Once our starters are all out, we'll..."

At this moment, Yao Ming returned to the bench from the locker room and volunteered to Adelman:

"Coach, let me play at the start of the fourth quarter! I didn't play much in the third quarter, and my stamina is pretty good right now!"

Yao Ming suddenly interrupted, and Adelman was taken aback at first, then asked, "Your body..."

"The team doctor just checked it out, it's a minor injury, nothing serious!" Yao Ming replied nonchalantly.

Adelman thought for a moment, then said, "Then you..."

"Nonsense!"

Ignoring the opinions of the coach and Yao Ming, Yang Lin directly objected: "If you're injured, rest. Why insist on playing while injured?"

Yao Ming explained, "These are all physical injuries, they're nothing to worry about."

Looking up at Yao Ming, Yang Lin countered, "Is winning this game that important? Will winning it guarantee us the Larry O'Brien Trophy?"

"This is just a regular season game. Winning would be great, but losing isn't that important to us. Why insist on playing with an injury?"

Yang Lin glanced at Adelman, then at Yao Ming, and finally surveyed his teammates around him before making his decision:

"In the fourth quarter, we'll stick to our normal rotation. I'll lead the guys and give it our all!"

"If we can close the gap, we'll try our best to win; if we really can't catch up, we'll just give up on this game."

After speaking, he gave a serious look at everyone present.

For a moment, everyone was speechless.
