Chapter 98: Steadfastness, the Joining of New Members

Upon seeing the familiar figure before him, Taga Natsuki's eyes quickly reddened.

She gripped his sleeves tightly with both hands, her voice filled with disbelief and excitement: "Teacher! I thought—I thought I would never see you again—I asked so many people in the school, but no one knew where you were—"

He knew this girl's personality all too well; once she made up her mind about something, nothing could sway her.

He paused for a long while before finally speaking in a serious tone: "If you've really decided to face all the truth and are prepared to embark on this path of resistance where you could lose your life at any moment and there's no turning back, then come with me."

"Teacher! I knew it!" Xia Mu's eyes, which were still a little watery, lit up instantly.

She gripped the shopping bag tightly and quickly followed in Kamino Tsubasa's footsteps. The two of them walked through the crisscrossing backstreets and alleys and quietly returned to the Odagiri residence.

He turned to Xia Mu and said seriously, "Tetsuro and Ruiji are both safe now. They are hiding on a relic ship left behind by the Adventists."

Tetsuro is studying under Dr. Shirai, and Mizuki is helping to take care of everyone's daily life.

"Great! I knew they'd be alright!"

Upon receiving news that his friend was safe, Xia Mu's eyes reddened slightly, but he smiled brightly: "Teacher, how could we leave out me, a core member of SF Society, when it comes to establishing a secret organization to fight against villains like Chronos!"

She paused mid-sentence, blinking, "Wait—the Descendants? The Relic Ship?"

Her intense curiosity was instantly ignited. She moved closer to Kanna Tsubasa, tugged at his sleeve, and gently shook it: "Kanna-sensei~ can you tell me about it?"

Unable to resist her persistent pestering, Tsubasa Kamino pulled up a chair and sat down, recounting their experiences from discovering the armor to their struggles and battles against Chronos.

Xia Mu's eyes widened in surprise, and she occasionally let out a low gasp, her eyes shining even brighter.

When Tsubasa Shinno finished speaking and picked up his water glass to drink, she was still not satisfied and tugged at his sleeve, insisting on joining the ranks of the rebels.

"Xia Mu, I can agree to let you join us."

Tsubasa Kamino nodded slowly, but then stated the conditions: "But there is one condition—your parents are still in Tokyo. If you come directly with us to the spaceship, not only will you be in danger, but your family may also be implicated."
