Entertainment News: Follow Wang Baoqiang's Rise to Film Emperor

The next morning.

Lin Zhi got up very early in the morning.

The crew of "Youth on the Move" held a simple opening ceremony at the hotel around 8:30 a.m., after everyone had arrived. This marked the official start of filming for the series.

At the usual filming opening ceremony, the production team will give a small red envelope to everyone present as a token of good luck.

This time is no exception!

However, the amount in the red envelope was extremely small... After receiving the red envelope, Lin Zhi secretly opened it on the spot and found that it only contained 50 cents. He couldn't help but grin and secretly revealed a bitter smile.

But in the blink of an eye, he forgot about this little thing.

The fact that the red envelopes were small can only mean that the production company was stingy or that they had very limited cash flow. And nobody just wants to make a fortune from the red envelopes given out at the film crew's opening ceremony, so this matter is really not worth mentioning.

Therefore, in an instant, this little matter became a thing of the past, and no one paid any attention to it.

Those who received the red envelopes deliberately and tacitly avoided discussing it, instead focusing all their energy and attention on the upcoming filming on set...

"Youth on the Move" is an urban idol drama.

Therefore, in terms of filming locations, most of the scenes were naturally filmed within the city.

In terms of filming environment, needless to say, it is much better than filming period dramas where you have to go deep into remote mountains and forests and be bitten by all kinds of mosquitoes.

So.

In terms of filming schedule, urban dramas are naturally much faster than period dramas.

The workload of all staff members can also be reduced slightly.

However, even with a lighter workload, filming a movie, in order to cut costs and meet deadlines, still involves a significantly more tiring daily workload compared to other jobs on the market…

Working day and night, constantly on the go, and often lacking sleep, it's common to doze off while working; it's considered basic practice in this industry.

This goes without saying!

The director of the film, Gong Ruofei, is not a top-tier director with a renowned reputation in China, but he is a mature and experienced director with solid skills and impeccable reputation.

In terms of acting skills, there is absolutely nothing to criticize!

therefore……

After normal filming began today.

The entire crew and the filming progressed in an orderly manner. Even when moving between locations and dealing with a multitude of miscellaneous tasks, everything was handled in a completely organized and efficient manner.

So the filming went very smoothly.

As for Lin Zhi, since he didn't have any scenes on the first day, he spent the whole day wandering around with the crew, and no one stayed in the hotel...

That would be too boring.

While on set, you can also secretly learn from experienced filmmakers, directors, producers, cinematographers, lighting technicians, sound engineers, makeup artists, and other seniors.

He'll definitely be able to use this when he invests in and makes his own films in the future!

but……

Because this industry is too traditional and closed off, most of the veteran craftsmen on set are very protective of their skills and will not easily reveal their best techniques to others.

It was not uncommon for masters to starve to death after teaching their apprentices.

Even if you go out of your way to curry favor with these industry veterans and old hands, they'll mostly just teach you the basics out of politeness and to save face...

Truly excellent skills, the most treasured secrets, are passed down only to one's closest relatives; they are things one must take to the grave...

That's just how this industry is; everyone's selfish.

No one is capable of such selfless and altruistic acts...

Therefore, after realizing this, Lin Zhi did not deliberately try to befriend those industry experts or learn their secrets.

He's too lazy to do that kind of pointless work!

Instead, they were cautious...

He secretly used his keen eye to "learn from others" on set!

With a keen eye and good observation skills, you can always inadvertently reveal some basic details about the filming process and the work of the professionals on set.

If you pay close attention and observe carefully, you can always secretly learn a tenth or a twentieth of it.

This is not a difficult task!

and so……

During his spare time from filming, Lin Zhi diligently studied and observed the techniques of others.

As for filming, his understanding and knowledge base have been quietly improving without him even realizing it.

One day in the future, it will transform into his personal ability, helping him rise to great heights and achieve great success!

While Lin Zhi was diligently learning various filming techniques on the set of "Youth Action," two more days passed before it was finally his turn to film his scenes...

His first major scene was with the familiar Fan Bingbin.

"Aji~"

"Your scene with me is coming up soon... Act well, don't mess it up."

"You've memorized all your lines, right?"

After her makeup was done, Fan Bingbin, with her assistant carefully attending to her, slowly sipped warm water from a cup, afraid of ruining her makeup; at the same time, she smiled and asked Lin Zhi, who was about to go on screen to act.

"Yes, I'm all prepared. There won't be any mistakes. Sister Bingbing, can you help me get into character? You're so experienced." Lin Zhi smiled and gave her a little compliment.

Girls all like to hear nice things!

Fan Bingbin is no exception.

She smiled brightly and said, "Don't worry, little brother, I'll take care of your acting and make sure you don't mess up your role..."

"Thank you, Sister Bingbing. You're beautiful inside and out. I wonder who will be my brother-in-law in the future... Sigh, just thinking about it makes me so jealous!"

Lin Zhi playfully made a joke at Fan Bingbin's expense.

Fan Bingbin glared at Lin Zhi and laughed, "Hurry up and get ready, you little brat!"

After chatting and laughing for a while, it was time for their scene. At the repeated calls and urgings of the assistant director, they walked one after the other to the prepared set, and under Director Gong's request, they acted freely in front of the camera...

To be honest, Fan Bingbin's acting skills at this point were visibly lacking.

Compared to Lin Zhi, he is far inferior.

Calling her a "pretty face" in the film and television industry wouldn't be an exaggeration.

Once filming begins, either I burst out laughing, I mispronounced my lines, or I wasn't in character and acted without emotion, like a wooden doll.

On the other hand, Lin Zhi, who was well-prepared, did not have any problems at all, and almost every shot was completed in one take.

A comparison between the two reveals the obvious difference in their abilities.

However, because "Youth Action" is an urban idol drama, the requirements for the actors' performances are not that high, or even completely non-existent...

Therefore, despite Fan Bingbin's terrible acting and poor performance, the entire crew, including Director Gong, didn't say anything to her.

They were quite tolerant of her.

This is probably why great beauties naturally receive "preferential treatment"!

Lin Zhi noticed this and couldn't help but feel a little jealous.

He figured that if he kept "dropping the ball" and underperforming in his performance, many people in the crew would likely give him a hard time or even scold him.

But Fan Bingbing is different; people are much more tolerant of her...
