Ultraman: Feed my daddy

Chapter 60: Inviting Seven to Eat Ultraman's Big Mouth

Dan Moroboshi left without any warning; he simply vanished.

As he said, he was just there to tell Takahashi in advance that he would take Leo away regardless of whether Takahashi agreed or not.

After he left, Takahashi gulped down the Coke in his hand, but was still not quenched.

Seeing that Dan Moroboshi's bottle of cola was untouched, he simply grabbed it and drank it all in one gulp.

"Thump!"

Takahashi placed the empty Coke bottle on the table and fell into deep thought.

Not to mention that Leo is one of Earth's only three major combat forces, the battle would be much more difficult without him, and the dead would not be able to be saved.

He simply couldn't tolerate Dan Moroboshi's attitude, his complete disregard for Gen's will, and his domineering, all-encompassing style.

If Gen wants to leave Earth on his own initiative, Takahashi will certainly have no objections, even if he is reluctant to see him go, and will even bid Gen a farewell.

But now, suddenly, a seemingly ill Dan Moroboshi appears, spouting nonsense, and wants to take Oogen away. Takahashi absolutely cannot agree to this.

This Dan Moroboshi even tried to exchange information for Oogen with him, which almost made Takahashi furious.

This made him wonder if the guy in front of him, who looked a lot like Dan Moroboshi, was actually Ultraman.

If he could, he really wanted to slap him on the spot with the Ultra Correction Palm to wake him up.

The second appraisal of the bracelet was, to some extent, done with this purpose in mind.

Unfortunately, his cheat system only activates when facing monsters and aliens; it's useless against humans and Ultraman.

He couldn't stop Seven from taking Leo away!

Trying to beat him up to clear his head is even more impossible.

This makes things very difficult.

Furthermore, Takahashi must have noticed that after hearing Dan Moroboshi's words about alerting the enemy, he immediately slapped the bracelet but failed to transform.

Based on his long observation and understanding of Takahashi, he must have already guessed some kind of limitation on Takahashi's transformation.

At least, Takahashi was powerless to stop Seven from taking Leo away.

My head hurts, it hurts terribly.

Takahashi unconsciously rubbed the bracelet, as if hoping it could hear his thoughts and unlock the ability to choose his Ultraman transformation.

However, the bracelet remained unchanged.

It's just a cold, lifeless prop; it can't do anything about the wish Takahashi makes.

Takahashi's headache persisted until Fengyuan returned home that evening.

"You're back."

Takahashi recognized Fengyuan and greeted him with some delight.

It seems that Moroboshi Dan is not ready to take Ootori away for the time being, giving him some leeway in his plans.

"Um."

Feng Yuan felt somewhat heavy-hearted. He went to the television and turned on one of the channels.

Immediately, official news from TPC began to emerge continuously.

"It is reported that aliens and monsters have caused chaos in many places today. The TPC headquarters was also attacked by the enemy, resulting in heavy casualties. The specific number of casualties is still being tallied."

The Victory Team is also trying to find a way to turn the people rescued from various places who have been transformed into special forms back to their original forms.

Director Sawai stated that TPC is a peace-loving organization, but we are not afraid of war and will never succumb to intimidation from any aliens.

TPC and the Victory Team have sufficient power and means to overcome all obstacles and ensure the peace and harmonious development of the Earth and humanity…

"...In addition, Ultraman Tiga, Leo, and Seven also appeared, saving a large number of people in distress and eliminating the enemy in this operation..."

The footage from the news showed that the scenes of Leo being controlled by Nova and destroying the TPC base were deliberately edited out.

All that remains are the scenes of him destroying Nova, destroying Reilos, and summoning the Leo Mask in three different locations to save people.

Seven's screen time was short, and because he was facing Nova who was possessing Leo, it was also edited out, making it seem as if the two Leos and Seven killed Nova together in the end.

Since the battle took place at TPC headquarters, with a little control, this negative news about Ultraman being manipulated could easily be suppressed.

The news footage mainly focused on Tiga and the police officers, armed police, military personnel, and support teams from various TPC branches fighting on the front lines.

The story of Leo delaying the retirement of Reilos is also a prominently featured part, and his character's elimination of Reilos and resurrection of many of them has garnered much praise.

Hearing these news reports, especially the part about the heavy casualties at TPC headquarters, where the exact number of casualties has yet to be tallied, Feng Yuan's mood became even more depressed.

Today, shortly after he and Director Masashi Ōmura emerged from the ruins, they encountered TPC staff who had come to manage the situation. They learned that the staff had climbed out of the stadium ruins.

The staff arranged for him and the curator to be placed in the same accommodation as the other participants in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

There, Fengyuan endured a lot of pressure, and even with the curator's protection, it was still very difficult for her.

In particular, the curator knew that Feng Yuan had killed him, yet he still protected him, which made Feng Yuan feel very uncomfortable.

After learning from others that Ultraman Leo later appeared, but was also controlled by the Red Sunny Doll, the curator comforted Fengyuan even more.

"Even Ultraman Leo was controlled by that monster. Gen, as a human, there's nothing shameful about being controlled. Besides, look at me, I'm standing here perfectly fine, aren't I?"

These incredibly sincere words dealt Feng Yuan a devastating blow, because he knew that the mistakes he made while under control went far beyond this.

The curator was resurrected, so we can forgive him, but there are many others who cannot be resurrected, and some even die without ever knowing that Ultraman Leo killed them.

The thought of this filled Fengyuan with a heart-wrenching pain.

That's why Fengyuan refused the staff's offer to stay tonight and insisted on coming back.

At this moment, he felt ashamed to face any Earthling. Only in front of Seven, only in front of this alien from another planet, could he relieve some of the heavy pressure in his heart.

Takahashi sensed the sense of loss emanating from Gen.

He swallowed back the words he was about to say.

Thinking that it would be better for him to explain things clearly himself rather than have Seven bring them up, he originally intended to be honest with Fengyuan.

But judging from Feng Yuan's current state, if he really confesses, the situation might be a little bad.

Fortunately, Momoko has been resurrected, and Director Masashi Ōmura is also still alive.

Today, Fengyuan has completely emerged from the shadow of losing its hometown.

Give him some time, and he'll be able to adjust and adapt on his own.

Ultraman is not a god after all, although many of their abilities seem incredible, almost godlike.

But they are not true gods after all, and what they can do is very limited.

All Takahashi and his team could do was give it their all and push themselves to the limit in every battle. That was all.

Once Fengyuan understands this, everything will be alright.

Will things really get better?
