Chapter 32 The Fall of Pan Wang

Of the three Gu worms—essence, energy, and spirit—the essence Gu worm is the easiest to deal with.

The most formidable aspect of this Gu worm is its incredibly strong physical body and immense power. After examining the Gu worm that was fighting the Golden Dragon, Donghua estimated its physical strength to be at the mid-stage of Quasi-Saint.

Having made up his mind, Donghua immediately took action, releasing Jingyang Zhong, which transformed into the evil corpse Jingyang, to block the attack of the divine Gu worm.

The main body flew out and unleashed the full power of the Dragon Head Golden Staff. The staff itself transformed into a golden dragon, merging with the previous golden dragon, instantly transforming into a giant purple-gold dragon.

This is the most powerful state of the Dragon Head Golden Staff after the fusion of the Purple Mansion's fortune and the spiritual treasure.

A giant purple-gold dragon soared into the sky and directly coiled around the essence worm.

No matter how strong the entangled worms were, they could not break free from their restraints.

Donghua seized the opportunity and used the Law of Heaven and Earth to enlarge the Pure Yang Sword. He then used the immense power of the Dragon Subduing Tiger to attack the Gu worms.

By the time Pan Wang realized what was happening, it was too late. With a single sword strike, he pierced straight through the Essence Gu worm.

Donghua was still not at ease, so he stirred the Pure Yang Sword again, directly tearing the essence worm to pieces.

After the Gu worms were dismembered, they transformed into a massive amount of essence and dispersed. Upon seeing this, Donghua took out a gourd-shaped spiritual treasure and directly collected the dispersing essence.

The moment the Gu worm was killed, Pan Wang could no longer bear the additional damage caused by its death, and he spat out a mouthful of blood, which fell to the ground.

However, Pan Wang's previous attack was still in effect. Dong Hua couldn't save him in time, so he teleported and blocked it with his body.

Donghua didn't consider himself a purely good person, but Qianyu was targeted by Panwang because he gave him a warning. If he were to perish like this, his Dao heart would be uneasy.

The story then returns to the scene at the beginning.

That cut was indeed hard to endure; waves of pain shot through my body.

This calamity is very difficult to heal, as if one has been struck by a heavenly tribulation, and it also contains a deadly poison.

If this blow had landed on Qianyu, he would have been dead without a doubt.

Donghua used his pure Yang power to seal the surging calamity power within his body, then leaped into the air, a large seal appearing in his hand.

It was the very same spiritual treasure given to him by Dao Ancestor Hongjun at the banquet in the Purple Mansion in the past, the Heaven-Sealing Seal.

The Donghua has yet to discover the use of this magical treasure, but it is incredibly hard and can devour the power of the primordial spirit, making it perfect for dealing with the divine Gu worms.

In the sky, the evil corpse Jingyang from Donghua was engaged in a fierce battle with the divine Gu. The Jingyang Bell itself was a spiritual treasure that leaned towards the primordial spirit, and the divine Gu couldn't do anything to Jingyang for the time being.

Donghua concentrated his pure Yang magic power on the Heaven-Sealing Seal, seized the opportunity, and smashed it out.

The attack did not miss; instead, it struck the Divine Gu directly on the forehead.

"It really worked."

The divine gu swayed, clearly severely injured, and no longer possessed its previous ferocious appearance.

Donghua didn't hold back and smashed it again with his seal.

Then, the figure of the Divine Gu began to shrink.

He raised the seal to strike again, but this time he failed to land the blow. Pan Wang, in the distance, disregarded the physical injuries caused by the death of the Gu worm.

With sheer willpower, he raised the Panwang Banner to block the attack, and then took the opportunity to retrieve the Divine Gu.

But how could Donghua give him the chance? He threw the Heaven-Sealing Seal to the evil corpse Jingyang, and raised his sword to meet Panwang directly.

Both were injured at this time, but Pan Wang's injuries were more serious. This shows that the Taoist cultivation method of transforming the three flowers into three Gu has great drawbacks.

Its strength lies in the Gu worms, but the Gu worms are also its weakness.

It's true that Xiao He's success and Xiao He's downfall both stemmed from him.

Donghua and Panwang clashed again, but this time he did not attack. He simply held off Panwang and waited quietly for the evil corpse's victory.

Sure enough, after a while, the divine Gu worm grew smaller and smaller under the constant beating of the evil corpse, and its body began to become transparent.

Upon seeing this, Pan Wang was filled with fear and rage. This time, he truly felt the danger of his demise.

He then turned to Donghua and said, "Fellow Daoist Dongwang, I apologize for what happened today. I'm willing to give you the top-grade innate spiritual treasure I have as an apology. Let's end things here, shall we?"

Hearing Pan Wang's words, Dong Hua sighed inwardly, "These old fogies really know how to take things in stride and don't care about saving face at all."

However, instead of uttering a word, they intensified their attack.

Pan Wang was anxious; if the fighting continued, his divine Gu would surely perish.

"I wonder what your conditions are for me to give up? Please feel free to make your offer."

This time, Donghua didn't mock him. He said coldly, "Fellow Daoist Panwang, neither of us are three-year-olds. Things have come to this point, how could there possibly be any room for reconciliation?"

Because of his memories from his past life, he has always been a kind person, but his experiences in the prehistoric world have made him realize that when it's time to eliminate the threat completely, one must not be soft-hearted.

No matter how beautiful the primordial wilderness may be, it was ultimately a world where people devoured each other.

Since the cause and effect have already been created between the two parties, the only option is to let the opponent die. After all, Donghua is afraid of death and doesn't want to die.

Let alone a high-grade innate spiritual treasure, even a top-grade innate spiritual treasure wouldn't stop him. Besides, even if he killed his opponent, those spiritual treasures would still be his.

Seeing that his attempts to reconcile had failed, Panwang lost all hope and spat out several mouthfuls of blood onto the Panwang Banner.

The path of tribulations he cultivated manifested itself, transforming into a long river of laws that surrounded his body, with various other laws mixed within it.

"They're going to fight to the death!"

Donghua had already imagined this scene when he refused.

With a dragon-headed golden staff in his left hand and a pure Yang sword in his right, the Pure Yang Dao slowly unfolded.

The two began a battle of the most simple and unadorned kind, just like two ordinary people competing in martial arts.

However, the danger involved is enormous.

This is not child's play; it is a contest of the Great Dao. The slightest carelessness will result in the destruction of one's Dao and death. Moreover, if one fails in the contest of the Great Dao, one will not even have the chance to be reincarnated.

At one point during their duel, Pan Wang suddenly froze, his mind seemingly blank, and he just stood there dumbfounded.

It turned out that while the two were fighting, the divine Gu in the distance had already been smashed beyond recognition by the Heaven-Sealing Seal. Its insect shadows were illusory and appeared and disappeared. Finally, at a certain moment, it was knocked away and scattered.

"The Divine Gu is dead!"

Donghua wouldn't let such a good opportunity pass by. The attack of the Pure Yang Sword grew stronger and stronger. The Pure Yang Dao was embodied in the sword, carrying boundless power, and directly pierced through Pan Wang's head.

After the first sword strike, Donghua was still not satisfied and continued to slash a few more times, directly splitting Panwang in two.

Subsequently, a series of divine attacks, including Pure Yang Divine Thunder, Pure Yang Divine Light, and Pure Yang Divine Fire, struck Pan Wang.

The main focus is on stability!

The next moment, Panwang's massive Dao split open, and the Dao of Calamity returned to heaven and earth, causing the sky to change color, with dark clouds covering the sky and thunder booming.

Suddenly, a torrential downpour began, as if even the heavens were weeping for the fall of this great being of heaven and earth.

With Pan Wang dead, Donghua finally relaxed. He used the dragon-headed golden staff to support his body and collected all the spiritual treasures and various other valuables that had fallen to the ground.

The Qi Gu suppressed by the white lotus in the distance seemed like headless flies, unaware of their purpose.

Donghua struggled to break the seal on the white lotus, used the gourd to collect the Qi Gu, and then put the white lotus back into his body to suppress the injuries on his body.

Beside him, Prince Changqin helped the group to their feet. Everyone on the mountaintop staggered and couldn't stand steadily, but they all burst into laughter.

His laughter was so hearty and joyful, so bold and exuberant.

P.S.: Volume 1, Rebirth of the Eastern King, is almost over here. It tells the story of a modern young man who goes from being ignorant and naive to mastering the power of a quasi-saint, and then to understanding his own path, making friends and getting to know some people along the way.

Wang Yue is a complete novice writer, and her writing skills may be lacking, with some parts not written well, but she will continue to work hard.

Today, I made some minor revisions to some parts of the first ten chapters. Fellow Daoists who are interested can take a look, but it won't affect anything if you don't. The plot is still the same; I've only changed some of the tone of voice.

Finally, I'd like to ask all fellow cultivators for cultivation resources. Please bombard me with monthly tickets and recommendation votes!
