While traveling among the various tribes of the prehistoric world, Lieshan discovered that the crops cultivated by the current human race were very limited, consisting of only millet. Although it was enough to fill their stomachs, the taste was quite poor.

From that day on, under Xuanming's guidance, Lieshan began to search for other grains that could be grown.

After countless attempts, Lieshan found five edible crops that could satisfy people's hunger.

It consists of five kinds of grains: rice, millet, sorghum, wheat, and beans.

After finding these five grains, Lieshan began cultivating the seeds and eventually succeeded!

After returning to the Shennong tribe, he spread these five grains throughout the tribe, and eventually throughout the entire human race.

For his meritorious service in spreading the Five Grains, Emperor Fuxi specially summoned Lieshan in Chendu and appointed him as the Grand Minister of Agriculture, in charge of researching cultivation and seeds.
