Starting with God's perspective, how to lose an interstellar war?

He pulled up a timeline of the battle and traced his finger through the air.

"Look here. Wells's fleet has split into three groups to attack the Elvira system. Conventional thinking would assume that all three groups are truly attacking."

But Qin Beiwang saw through it. He judged that the attack on Agbat Star was a feint, but the feint concealed a deadly intent.

So he used a cruiser as bait to lure Wells out of his ambush behind the satellite.

"Look here again."

Wen Tingtao amplified the data from the Seventh Jump Point Battle.

"In the complete darkness of the smoke, he was able to precisely direct the artillery fire, eliminating five flagships in succession."

In his report, Yang Shao wrote that they later discovered that Qin Beiwang had deployed two reconnaissance ships in advance to follow the Wells fleet and obtain real-time information on the enemy ships' positions through passive detection.

But here's the problem?

How did he know Wells would definitely go to the seventh jump point?

This was a prediction, and an extreme prediction based on the enemy commander's psychology.

However, what I don't understand is...

Even in the chaos of battle, quantum communications sent between two reconnaissance ships can be countered by harmonic direction finders.

Ultimately, their location was exposed.

Why would Wells allow those two reconnaissance ships to keep sending out their locations?

Du Jing looked at the analytical data, his expression gradually becoming serious.

"You mean... this wasn't a coincidence?"

"Once is a coincidence, twice is luck, three times, four times..."

Wen Tingtao shook his head.

"It's about ability. Battlefield intuition, psychological analysis, and tactical execution."

This kid has it all. And his skill level is frighteningly high.

He paused, then looked at Du Jing.

"What kind of reward do you think a 22-year-old major should receive for achieving such results?"

Du Jing thought for a few seconds.

"According to convention, he will at least be promoted to lieutenant colonel, awarded a high-level combat medal, and possibly an honorary title."

But considering he is Marshal Qin's son, perhaps...

"No."

Wen Tingtao interrupted him.

"Don't consider whose son he is. Only consider what he did."

The general stood up and paced a few steps in the command hall.

His gaze fell upon the star map of the Elvira Galaxy displayed on the main screen.

A major battle has just taken place there, but the war is not over yet.

Although the Empire lost a squadron, the pressure on the front lines of the entire Wanshi Starfield remains immense.

Who is currently in charge of the Elvira system?

he asks.

"Colonel Yang Shao of the Iron Fist Squadron has temporarily taken over the defense."

However, according to the established organization, there should be a separate squadron stationed there.

Du Jing answered.

"The original garrison fleet suffered heavy losses in the Battle of Blackrock three months ago, and its organization has not yet been fully rebuilt."

Wen Tingtao nodded.

He walked to the control panel, pulled up the war zone organization table for the Wanshi Starfield, and ran his finger over several vacant fleet commander positions.

Finally, it stopped at the "Elvira System Defense Fleet" column.

Current status: Pending appointment.

"Du Jing!"

Wen Tingtao turned around, his voice becoming decisive.

"Draft two orders."

First, Commander Qin Beiwang of the Pluto Fleet is promoted to Lieutenant Commander of the Federation Interstellar Fleet, effective immediately.

Du Jing quickly took notes.

"yes!"

"second!"

Wen Tingtao paused, a sharp glint flashing in his eyes.

"Lieutenant Colonel Qin Beiwang is appointed as the commander of the Elvira System Theater, in charge of all federal military forces in the system, including the rebuilt garrison fleet."

He was granted independent operational authority and could report directly to the theater command.

Du Jing's fingers stopped.

He looked up, a look of shock flashing in his eyes.

"Commander... isn't this skipping a grade too much?"

He rose directly from a sub-fleet commander to a squadron commander, and was even independently in charge of a star system theater of operations...

He was only 22 years old, and this was only his first time commanding a battle independently…

"so what?"

Wen Tingtao countered with a question.

Alexander the Great ascended the throne at the age of twenty and began his eastern campaigns at the age of twenty-two.

Huo Qubing was enfeoffed as a marquis at the age of eighteen and was enfeoffed as the Wolf-Dwelling Mountain at the age of twenty-one.

Age is never the problem; the problem is ability.

He walked back to the main screen and pointed to the star map of the Elvira system.

"This star system has three habitable planets, seven important mines, and two strategic shipyards."

The Empire spent three months and used an entire squadron to try to take it down, only to be defeated by a 22-year-old.

Who do you think is more suitable to guard this place than him?

Du Jing remained silent.

Wen Tingtao continued.

"And this is not a reward, it is a test."

The Elvira system is now the front line of the front line. The Empire has lost so much face, it will definitely launch a fierce counterattack.

Whether Qin Beiwang can hold on and continue to achieve such results will be the true test of his ability.

He paused, then lowered his voice.

"If he can... then the Wanshi Star Region will truly have produced a general who can change the course of the war."

If it doesn't work...

"If it doesn't work, the loss will only be one galaxy."

Du Jing continued his sentence.

"But at least we tried."

"right."

Wen Tingtao nodded.

"Draft an order."

In addition, I am sending an encrypted message to Qin Qianfan in my personal capacity.

Du Jing looked up.

"content?"

Wen Tingtao thought for a moment, and a smile appeared on his lips.

Write: "Old Qin, your son is even crazier than you were back then."

But... it's good that she's crazy.

The order was officially issued an hour later.

When the notification of the promotion and appointment reached the Iron Fist Squadron, which was still on its return journey, via quantum communication, the entire fleet's communication channels were silent for a full ten seconds.

Then, it exploded.

On the bridge of the Kunlunshan, Qin Beiwang looked at the updated military rank information on his personal terminal.

Starting with the lieutenant colonel column, a long list of new job titles and authority descriptions follows.

He simply turned off the screen.

He looked out the observation window, where starlight was twinkling peacefully in the direction of the Elvira Galaxy.

Zhuang Zhixuan walked to his side, her voice filled with suppressed excitement.

"commander……

No, Lieutenant Colonel Qin.

Directly appointed by the theater command…

"I know."

Qin Beiwang interrupted her, his gaze still fixed on the starry sky.

He said calmly.

"This means the war has only just begun."

He turned around and looked at all the officers on the bridge who were looking at him:

"Notify the entire fleet to change course. We are not returning to the Iron Fist Squadron's base."

"We're going to Shiva."

That's our home now.

Outside the window, the starship began to turn.

Meanwhile, at the distant Wanshi Starfield War Zone Command, Wen Tingtao stood in front of the observation window.

Looking at the blue dots in deep space that represent the Federation-controlled areas, the one in the Elvira system had just been marked with a new commander's codename.

Qin-BW.

Qin Beiwang.

"Kid!"

Wen Tingtao murmured to himself.

"Let me see just how high you can fly."

The starry sky was silent.

But the gears of war have already begun to turn faster.
