The West is no longer the barren place it was during the era of lich and deification; instead, it has grown into a behemoth capable of directly confronting the Xuanmen (Taoist sects).

Beside the Eight Treasures Merit Pool, the golden bodies of Cundi and Jieyin emit a dazzling light, causing all evil to retreat and all laws to be impervious. Their golden bodies are eternal, indestructible, and will last forever.

Zhunti spoke first, "Kinnara, you were not preaching in Jambudvipa. What brings you back today?"

Kinnara bowed and said, "Kinnara has returned because he has something to ask the Sage."

"Oh? What is it? Tell me about it."

Kinnara slowly began to tell the story, "In the land of Jambudvipa, there was a family of thieves, generation after generation. There was also a rough and ruthless man who loved to fight, named Adao, and a prostitute named Ashu. One day, a monk came to preach the Dharma."

Kinnara was recounting his own experiences in Jambudvipa.

After speaking for the time it takes for an incense stick to burn, Kinnara suddenly said, "The High Priest went back on his word, ordering his men to lure that monk away and then force Ashu to his death."

"Kinnara met with the sage today to ask why, when the sage said that the Buddha's teachings could liberate all people in the world—Aru, Adao, Ashu, all of them were liberated—why couldn't the Brahmin high priest and his henchmen be liberated?"

Zhunti's voice suddenly turned stern as he rebuked, "Kinnara, do you know what you're doing?!"

Kinnara suddenly laughed. "The High Priest's greed, ferocity, and cruelty surpass those of A-Liu, A-Dao, and A-Xiu countless times, yet their final fates are worlds apart. Kinnara wishes to ask the Sage, is this the Dharma in the Sage's heart?"

Zhunti flew into a rage, "Kinnara, how dare you question the Dharma of our Buddhist school!"

Having said that, Zhunti didn't give Kinnara any time to react, and said loudly, "Since its founding, Buddhism has been the result of my and my senior brother's painstaking efforts, without daring to slack off for a single day. Now, Buddhism is fighting against Xuanmen on its own. Do you really think all of this is fake?"

Kinnara's lips curled into a mocking smile. "I dare not deny the efforts of the saints, but in this matter, since Buddhism cannot bring justice, I have no choice but to take action myself!"

Suddenly, the guide asked, "What have you been doing?"

With a wave of his hand, Kinnara conjured a scene of the High Priest's manor in mid-air, a landscape of mountains of corpses and seas of blood.

The smell of blood seemed to be able to be detected from an infinite distance.

"Since the Buddha's teachings cannot bring justice, then this disciple will have no choice but to take matters into his own hands."

Zhunti burst into laughter, his eyes like those of a hawk fixed on Kinnara, "You wicked disciple, today I will teach you a lesson."

Zhunti was almost driven to his death by Kinnara.

In his mind, Buddhism was the highest law. Kinnara's words were no less than pointing a finger at Cundi and saying that Buddhism was a load of rubbish, all wrong and useless, and that he should discard it as soon as possible and switch to Taoism.

Zhunti raised his hand, and in an instant, earth, fire, water, and wind roared, and a golden palm print that transcended time and space suddenly appeared on Kinnara's head.

If it were anyone else, they would probably be skinned alive, their bones crushed, and their souls banished to the deepest hell, never to be reborn.

Kinnara left the Pure Land without uttering a sound, following the two Vajras.

Watching Kinnara's departing figure, Zhunti was still furious, his face turning ashen. "Damn it! How dare he! Our carefully nurtured Buddhist disciple has now dared to talk back!"
