Bodhisattva, please help me in my spiritual practice!

Chapter 211 It's not the flowers that bloom, but the heart that stirs.

Beneath the Five Elements Mountain, the Buddha's light shines pure, and the Bodhisattva is right before one's eyes.

However, being stared at by Guanyin Bodhisattva with such an expressionless face, Jin Tou Jie Di seemed to return to the time of his first meditation. At that time, he was just a little novice monk. His master taught him cultivation for the first time, making him sit cross-legged on the futon for an hour. But during that hour, he was distracted and felt uncomfortable all over, as if he had been subjected to some kind of torture.

At this moment, under the silent gaze of Guanyin Bodhisattva, the Golden-Headed Jiedi's mind was filled with memories of the past, from the hardships of his first cultivation to the regret of his first break of the precepts, all sorts of heartache and pain.

and many more!

I remember there's a saying among mortals that when a person is about to die, they experience a brief moment of lucidity before death, right?

Is this some kind of deathbed resurgence?

Thinking of this, the Golden-Headed Jiedi broke out in a cold sweat again. The other Jiedi beside him didn't understand why the Bodhisattva had only glanced at their elder brother, and yet their elder brother was showing signs of the five signs of decay. Could it be that their elder brother was really facing an impending calamity and could not escape it?

Fortunately, at this moment, Sun Wukong suddenly chuckled and nodded and bowed to Guanyin Bodhisattva, saying, "Bodhisattva of the South Sea, I have long heard of your great compassion. Why don't you listen to this jailer and help me uproot this tree!"

At this time, Sun Wukong and Guanyin Bodhisattva were not yet familiar with each other.

Guanyin Bodhisattva shifted her gaze from the Golden-Headed Jiedi to Sun Wukong, knowing that the one who was pressed here by the Five Elements Mountain was merely a manifestation of fate, not his true Dharma body, and therefore could not see through the secrets of cause and effect at this moment.

Guanyin Bodhisattva laughed and scolded, "You monkey, don't try to fool me with your sweet words. Although this is a manifestation of heavenly secrets and has yielded different good results, your mind is still unsettled. How can I let you out?"

"Phell."

Sun Wukong bared his teeth and snarled at the statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva, looking like a cat with its fur standing on end.

He thought to himself, "Even if you don't let me out, with my virtuous brother plotting outside, it won't be long before this Five Elements Mountain can trap me again!" What Sun Wukong could think of, Guanyin Bodhisattva could naturally think of as well.

She looked towards Taodu Mountain in Sichuan, where the mountains were layered, the dragon veins gathered, all kinds of ghosts lay dormant, yin and yang were restored, the sky was clear and the air was fresh, the peach trees on the mountain were like fire, and golden rice like jade sprouted and budded, and this was only the change in spatial dimension.

In the dimension of time, Taodu Mountain connects the ancient beliefs of the gods of the underworld, links the Youdu Mansion, communicates with the real world, and grafts the past and the future between two towering trees.

If she were to uproot the peach tree before her, this action would unleash tremendous changes, affecting not only the karma of the people of Shudu over the past few hundred years, but also the rebirth of Shen Tu and Yu Lei millions of years ago, and the opportunities arising from the changes in the Netherworld in the real world millions of years later.

Therefore, even though she possessed extraordinary powers, she dared not easily uproot this peach tree.

Guanyin Bodhisattva's gaze was deep and focused, transcending time and space to see Ao Peng on Taodu Mountain. Because of the blessing of the "unborn cause," even she could not see through all the causes and effects.

In other matters, she would naturally choose to let go, since she and Ao Peng had no karmic connection, and there was no need to intervene when the future was uncertain. But this was the one thing she could not let go of.

Guanyin Bodhisattva turned her head to look at the peach tree in front of her.

Of all the deities and Buddhas who benefited most from the spread of Buddhism during the Journey to the West, none was more so than her.

Therefore, even though she has accumulated countless good deeds, she cannot let go of this particular good deed, nor can she eradicate this good cause. Thus, she can only force Ao Peng to leave this world ahead of time to maintain the "normal" operation of the Journey to the West in this world.

If Ao Peng were allowed to continue his actions, what if... what if he really released Sun Wukong at this point in time? Then all the reflections and evolutions of Journey to the West in the real world would be overturned and restarted.

And she, the Bodhisattva Guanyin who saves people from suffering, would lose the good karma of many worlds because of this, so she can't let go.

In the blink of an eye, the Bodhisattva's heart was tainted by worldly dust and was no longer pure. So, in front of the Five Elements Mountain, with the Great Sage right in front of him, the ten-foot-long peach tree suddenly stirred in the wind, and the tree was covered with bright peach blossoms, which were very beautiful. A peach blossom fell from the tree and landed on the Bodhisattva's brow, and then did not fall again.

Above the layers of grotto heavens, within the origin of Yin, the Moon Palace is cold and clear, and the white rabbit is pure white.

A side hall in the Moon Palace floats above the Sea of Lunar Light, like a half-open red lotus. The palace is based on crimson clouds and topped with rosy clouds, surrounded by auspicious seven-colored clouds that sometimes gather and sometimes disperse, like gauze and curtain.

The Weaver Girl from the Heavenly Palace came here and wove crimson clouds into threads, which were then hung on the palace walls. Inside the palace, the Old Man of the Moon held the threads, weaving together the predestined relationships of people on earth.

Under normal circumstances, marriage is preordained, and there is no need for the God of Marriage to personally tie the knot.

However, today, just as the Old Man of the Moon was in seclusion, the mandarin duck wind chimes on the palace gate suddenly tinkled, indicating that a distinguished guest had arrived.

The Old Man of the Moon quickly rose, passed through the three palace gates, and arrived outside the hall. There he saw the Golden Horned Boy, dressed in a Taoist robe with the Eight Trigrams symbol, holding a purple-gold gourd. The Old Man of the Moon hurriedly stepped forward, "Greetings, Golden Horned Boy. You are not in the Tushita Palace. What brings you here?"

The Golden Horned Boy said, "Today, Laozi was refining elixirs in the Tushita Palace when he saw a tragic love affair drifting over from the Sea of Sorrow in the Heaven of Separation from Hatred. Laozi said that this was under the jurisdiction of the Old Man of the Moon, so he asked me to hand this tragic love affair over to you to deal with."

The Old Man of the Moon hurriedly accepted the Purple Gold Gourd. This Heaven of Separation and Hatred is the Great Crimson Heaven, which contains a Sea of Sorrow and governs the karmic relationships of the Heavenly Realm. A karmic entanglement that even Laozi (the Old Man) takes seriously must be extraordinary.

The Old Man of the Moon thought to himself, "Could it be another celestial maiden yearning for mortal life, about to create a world-shaking love affair? The last love affair he personally handled was the story of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, which was known to everyone in heaven and on earth."

Just as the Old Man of the Moon, filled with curiosity, opened the Purple-Gold Gourd and saw the ill-fated relationship inside, he was struck dumb. He quickly slammed the gourd shut, fearing the secret would leak out, and said to the Golden Horned Boy, "I cannot take this job, I cannot take it!"

The Golden Horned Boy didn't know what the ill-fated relationship was, but he just smiled and said, "Laojun has instructed that this matter of marriage is sent to you for you to handle as you see fit." After saying that, he left the Purple Gold Gourd, rode the clouds to reply to the decree and left.

Holding the purple-gold gourd, the Old Man of the Moon felt as if the Monkey King had been stuffed into his heart, making him jump around excitedly. He usually approached marriages with the mindset of making things happen if possible, and even actively facilitating the matchmaking.

However, if he were to arrange a marriage within this gourd and it came to fruition, and the Buddhist community of Lingshan were to hold him accountable, it would be a huge disaster, no less than the trouble the monkey had caused.

He thought for a while but couldn't find a solution, only saying repeatedly, "How could she possibly be tempted by a Buddhist monk's heart!"

As the Old Man of the Moon was speaking, a moon rabbit hopped over and asked curiously, "Old Man of the Moon, who has fallen for mortals again?" The Old Man of the Moon quickly hid his gourd in his robes. "No, nothing like that!"

The Moon Rabbit laughed, "I clearly saw the Golden Horned Boy coming. All the celestial marriages are in the Sea of Sorrow, and they are usually tragic love affairs that lead to life and death. If Laozi doesn't want to get involved, he will send the Golden Horned Boy to you to manage them."

"nonsense!"

The Old Man of the Moon quickly retorted, "This marriage is preordained; it's not something I can control. That's nonsense!"
