Chapter 348 Sword and Rose Enter the Scene

Li Wu moved through the inner city, his destination the command post.

He encountered a few Blood Wolf Guild members along the way. Some turned and ran when they saw him, while others raised their weapons to fight back, only to be shot down by an arrow.

Halfway there, he encountered the night wind.

The night wind blew out from a dark alley, and the dagger in his hand was still stained with green venom.

"There are people in front of the command post," Night Wind said. "About fifty people are surrounding it and won't leave. Blood Wolf War Soul is inside."

"Fifty people."

"Yes! And they blocked the door to the command post, and piled up two layers of stone walls outside the gate."

Li Wu thought for a moment.

"You wait here."

Are you alone?

"Um."

Li Wu bypassed the two buildings and arrived at the edge of the square where the command post was located.

He saw those fifty people.

They formed two semi-circular defensive lines, facing outwards with their weapons forward. Shield warriors were at the forefront, followed by archers and mages.

This is the last line of defense.

The Blood Wolf Guild's last remaining strength is concentrated here to protect their guild leader.

Li Wu did not hesitate.

The arrow, capable of burning stars and returning to ruins, is gathering power.

A dark red light gathered on the bowstring.

The Blood Wolf Guild members in the square sensed the energy fluctuation.

"It's him!"

"Ready!"

That's too late.

The arrow has already been shot.

This shot missed the center of the crowd.

Li Wu's sights were aimed at the command post gate, or more precisely, at the two layers of stone walls blocking the gate.

"boom!"

The stone wall was blown to pieces, and the gate was twisted and deformed by the shockwave before collapsing with a roar.

The entrance to the command post was forcibly opened.

The aftershocks of the explosion also swept through the defenses in front of the door, knocking more than a dozen people to the ground and sending seven or eight people flying into a white light.

[Ding! A stroke of luck has been triggered! The Star-Burning Arrow has been successfully condensed!]

It was triggered again.

Li Wu's lips twitched slightly.

The second "Burning Star Returning to Ruins" arrow shot directly into the command post gate.

The area only unfolded after entering the door.

Inside the command post, dark red light burst forth from the windows and cracks.

The entire building shook violently, and a wall on the second floor was pushed away by the shockwave, scattering rubble everywhere.

The system notification indicated that the page had been successfully refreshed.

[Killed: Blood Wolf Guild - Shadow Poison Spider (LV40)]

[Killed: Blood Wolf Guild - Iron Claw (LV38)]

[Killed: Blood Wolf Guild - Nightstalker (LV39)]

What about the Blood Wolf Battle Spirit?

Li Wu walked towards the command post.

The remaining Blood Wolf Guild members in front of the gate had completely collapsed; some knelt on the ground, while others threw down their weapons and retreated.

No one dared to stop him.

Li Wu stepped over the rubble and ruins and entered the command post.

The lobby on the first floor was completely destroyed; the tables and chairs were blown to pieces, and the walls were covered with burn marks.

There was an open hidden door in the corner of the floor, and below the hidden door was a vertical ladder leading underground.

Blood Wolf Warrior has escaped.

Li Wu stood in front of the hidden door and glanced down.

The hidden door leads to a deep area, at least five or six meters deep by sight.

He didn't chase after them.

"Hua Zitong".

"exist."

"The core control device for the command post is on the second floor. Come and activate it. Blood Wolf Soul escaped through the underground passage, but it doesn't matter."

"Doesn't matter?"

"The fortress is all I need; if the people run away, so be it."

Hua Zitong didn't say anything more.

Three minutes later, Hua Zitong arrived at the command post with Mohen and Zhuifeng.

She went up to the dilapidated second floor and found the core control device, a glowing square stone embedded in the wall.

Press your hand on it.

Golden light shimmered.

[System Notification: Guild "Myth" has successfully captured Starshine Fortress! The attacking faction has gained its second fortress!]

[Current battle situation: The attacking side has captured 2 fortresses, while the defending side still controls 1.]

[Time remaining: 1 hours, 53 minutes, and 22 seconds.]

The system announcement flashed three more times in the sky.

All the players in District 21 who participated in the event were once again shocked by this news.

The second fortress.

From the first seat to the second, less than forty minutes passed in between.

The world channel server really lagged this time, and the flood of messages turned the channel into gibberish.

Two kilometers north of Starshine Fortress, the 1,400 Sword and Rose warriors who had been standing there for half a day finally received the signal.

He pointed his sword at Rose, put away his communicator, and faced his army.

"Enter the city! Capture all key points! Eliminate the remaining forces!"

Fourteen hundred people surged toward Starshine Fortress.

There was no one left on the north city wall; the garrison had long been transferred to deal with the attack from the south, and none of them had returned.

The men of Sword and Rose entered the city with almost no resistance.

Sword Pointing at Rose rode at the front, while the vice president beside him stared in disbelief at the scenery along the way.

The south wall was blown up in two sections, and there were two large craters left by the Burning Star Returning to Ruins Arrow in the inner city square.

There was another large crater in the middle of the main street, where the command post was blown up and only its frame remained.

This is not a siege.

This is demolishing a house.

The vice president took a deep breath: "President, did he only use a few arrows?"

"From entering the fortress to taking down the control device, it's estimated to be no more than ten shots." Sword Pointing at Rose said expressionlessly.

"Ten arrows took down a fortress."

You'll get used to it.

Sword Pointing at Rose, he dismounted and walked into the dilapidated command post.

Li Wu was standing in the middle of the ruins in the lobby on the first floor, leaning against a pillar that had not fallen.

Hua Zitong stood beside him, holding a communicator and contacting various parties.

"You've come in?" Li Wu glanced at the sword pointing at the rose.

"He's in." Sword Pointing at Rose looked around the hall. "You've really gone all out, not even leaving a command post."

"What's the point of keeping it? I don't work here."

Sword Pointing at Rose couldn't help but chuckle.

"My men have begun to take over the defense of the fortress. The Blood Wolf Guild has about four or five hundred members scattered in various places, most of whom have already given up resistance."

"You can clean it up now." Li Wu straightened up from the pillar. "Starshine Fortress is your responsibility. Remember to log out before the settlement when you've accumulated enough points."

"I know."

Li Wu nodded and turned around.

"Are you leaving now?" Sword Pointing at Rose called out to him from behind.

"Um."

"There are still more than two thousand people at Moonflower Fortress."

"I know."

"Don't you want to take a rest?"

"Need not."

Li Wu walked out of the command post.

Hua Zitong followed behind.

Chasing Wind, Ink Trace, and Night Wind also converged from various corners, and the five of them gathered on the south side of the fortress.

Zhui Feng glanced at the time.

"Guild leader, it's only been a little over an hour since the event started, and you've already captured two fortresses."

"There's one more."

Aren't you tired?

Li Wu glanced at him.

He asked if she was mentally exhausted, but Li Wu clearly had no intention of answering that question.

"Departure. Moonlit Fortress, six kilometers away."

The five figures disappeared into the wilderness once again.

Chasing Wind walked at the very back, glancing back at the Starshine Fortress, which was now a scene of utter devastation.

He suddenly thought of something.

Before the event started, Iron Blood Banner posted a message saying, "Guild wars are about numbers, organization, and foundation. A war fought by one person is meaningless on a real battlefield."

Zhui Feng smacked his lips.

A person.

Two fortresses.

More than four thousand people.

More than an hour.

The words "meaningless" sound really ironic right now.
