Chapter 128 Embracing two beauties, sleeping together under the same quilt!

Before anyone could react, Su Long spoke up again: "Gentlemen, could you give the three of us a little time to talk privately? Don't worry, it won't take long."

Dell paused for a moment, then nodded and said, "Of course."

As he spoke, he stood up, waved to his wife, Jesse, and Cole, and led them quickly down to the first floor. The heavy wooden stairs creaked a few times in protest before the second floor fell completely silent.

Dania closed the notebook on the table and turned her gaze to Surong: "Surong, what are your plans?"

Instead of answering directly, Surong looked at her and asked another question: "This plan might cost you money. How much is the commission the town is paying you?"

"About sixty thousand US dollars," Dania replied.

Su Long shook his head and said, "This amount of money is not enough to hunt down a C-level high-ranking monster. A monster of this level would fetch several times more on the black market."

Dania sighed, glancing at the wooden boarded-up cracks in the window, and said helplessly, "Of course I know all that you're saying, but even this $60,000 in wages was raised by the entire town. This town now only has about sixty households left, so on average, each family has to contribute more than a thousand dollars, almost emptying their savings. Many people can't even afford to buy bread."

Su Long let out a long sigh and leaned back in his chair: "Yes, a thousand US dollars is indeed a considerable sum for them."

Hannah, listening nearby, stared wide-eyed. She quickly did the math in her head and exclaimed, "Miss Dania, won't your reward for completing the mission not even cover my and Suron's hourly wages? You'll have to pay out of your own pocket to complete the mission?"

"Yes, this is the first task I've taken on through official channels, and there's a group of people who genuinely need my help!"

"Solving this monster will not only enhance the reputation of my exorcism club, but also help them solve a life-or-death problem. What's a little extra money?" Dania shrugged and smiled quite frankly.

She looked at Su Long again, her eyes bright, and asked, "So, what kind of 'expensive' plan are you referring to?"

"If it requires a large-scale mobilization of the family's manpower, then I may not be able to do it. The family's situation is not good right now, and my father will not allow me to use the family's armed forces to cause trouble. But if it's just about spending some money to buy equipment, then it's no problem at all."

Suron sat up straight, his tone decisive: "I don't need any manpower, I just need some small toys. Dania, take note, I'll make the following arrangements."

Dania immediately opened her phone's notes app, ready to take a note.

"One kilogram of C4 plastic explosive, one thousand high-carbon steel balls and nails, high-strength draw ropes and fuses, three sets of dark raincoats, a simple woodland camouflage tent, and a plastic bucket that can hold the steel balls, nails and explosives."

Dania typed quickly, asking without looking up, "I understand the rest, but what are the tents and plastic buckets for?"

Sulong explained, "Tents are used to create hiding places in fog; they can insulate against heat and odors, reducing our risk of exposure."

"As for the plastic buckets, they're the outer casings for our explosives. You wouldn't want the explosion to be less than expected because they're just left lying around, would you?"

Upon hearing Su Long's explanation, Dania raised her eyebrows, a smile of excitement playing on her lips, and said, "That's easy. The family's security warehouse has plenty of stock. I'll have them deliver it as quickly as possible."

After saying that, she turned and walked to the balcony to make a phone call to arrange for supplies.

Surong turned to Hannah and said, "Go and call them up."

Hannah quickly walked to the top of the stairs and called the people on the first floor up.

After everyone regrouped, Su Long pointed to the scarecrow's location on the map: "We've already made plans. Someone will deliver the explosives later, and then we'll set them on the scarecrow."

"Didn't you say you couldn't blow that bastard up?" Jesse asked, frowning.

Su Long shook his head, his tone calm: "Simply using explosives won't kill it, but it can severely damage it and slow down its escape."

He looked at Jesse and Cole: "That way we'll have enough confidence to encircle and wipe it out in the forest."

"Of course, just to be on the safe side, once we've confirmed that we've started fighting, Sheriff, your task is to lead the entire town into action. Everyone who can carry a gun should take up arms and defend the town to prevent it from escaping and attacking us."

Jesse straightened up and replied loudly, "Is that all there is to the plan?"

"That's all," Surong nodded.

Dania then walked back from the balcony and said with a smile, "It's all arranged. The supplies should arrive in about five hours, around dawn."

Then, as if suddenly remembering something, Surong looked at Dale and said, "Dale, do you have any wine here? It would be very useful in the battle."

Upon hearing this, Dale immediately walked to the wooden storage cabinet next to him, rummaged around for a while, took out a bottle of wine and handed it to Su Long, saying somewhat embarrassedly, "We only have a little bit of homemade wine left at home, but the alcohol content isn't high, so please don't mind it."

Su Long took the bottle, uncorked it, and brought it to his nose to take a sniff. A pungent smell of alcohol mixed with the sourness of over-fermentation hit him right in the head.

Sulong silently moved the wine a little further away, and at the same time unfastened the Raphael from his waist and poured wine into it.

The most bizarre thing about this kind of homemade wine from the countryside is that it tastes sweet and sour with little alcohol content, but after you've drunk a few large glasses and are about to go out for a stroll, a gust of wind will knock you to the ground.

When I opened my eyes again, it was the next day.

Hopefully, "Raphael" can balance out its taste and alcohol content.

After Su Long finished pouring the drinks, Dale looked at the clock on the wall and said, "Since the supplies won't arrive for a while, why don't you all go get some sleep and recharge your energy?"

He led the three of them up the wooden stairs to the third floor, the wooden planks creaking under their feet.

There was only one guest room on the third floor. Dell pushed open the door and found the room simply furnished, with a standard double bed in the center.

Dale looked at the bed, then slapped his forehead, his face full of embarrassment: "Sorry, I was so focused on Wendigo that I forgot there's only one bed in the guest room. You and the two ladies—"

He turned to look at Su Long and suggested, "However, Jesse has a guest room at his house; you can stay there for the night."

Su Long waved his hand dismissively, saying, "It's fine. I'll only be sleeping for a few hours anyway. I'll just make do on the sofa over there for a while."

Dell still felt bad and quickly said, "How can I do this? How about this, my bedroom on the first floor has a big bed, I'll give it to you and I'll sleep on the recliner in the living room."

Su Long refused again, saying, "Mayor, you also have a lot of work to do tomorrow, and you need to rest as well."

Seeing that Su Long was adamant, Dale could only sigh and say, "Alright then, sweet dreams. Call me anytime if you need anything."

The old town mayor turned and went downstairs, closing the door behind him.

The three people were left in the room; Dania and Hannah were already sitting on the edge of the bed.

Hannah looked at the slightly worn single sofa and asked worriedly, "Suron, will you be able to rest well sleeping there?"

She stood up, hesitated for a moment, and said, "How about I sleep on the sofa? Anyway, I only play a supporting role in the team and don't need much physical strength. Besides, this sofa isn't the worst place I've ever slept."

Surong leaned against the doorframe, looking at her: "You mean, you want me to sleep in the same bed as Dania?"

Dania took off her windproof jacket and casually tossed it onto the back of the chair: "I'm fine, we're all buddies. But why can't the three of us squeeze in?"

Su Long looked at the bed and unzipped his down jacket: "I think it's fine."

Dania threw off the covers, crawled into the inner corner against the wall, and patted the empty space next to her.

Su Long took off his coat, walked over, and lay down in the middle.

Hannah stood at the foot of the bed, eyes wide, pointing at herself: "Do I have to squeeze in too?"

Su Long turned his head to look at her and beckoned, "Come on, the bed is always more comfortable than the sofa."

Hannah bit her lower lip, walked somewhat awkwardly to the other side of the bed, and lay down stiffly.

The bed wasn't very big; it was just big enough for two people to sleep side by side, but now that three people were crammed in, the space suddenly became extremely cramped.

The mattress sagged noticeably from the weight of the three people, with Su Long lying flat in the middle, his hands folded over his stomach. He was almost resting on Dania and Hannah's shoulders.

On the left was Hannah's tense shoulder, and on the right was Dania's relaxed arm. The warm touch penetrated through their clothes, and two different rhythms of breathing lingered in the quiet room.

Su Long closed his eyes and took a deep breath: "I set my alarm for 4 a.m., by which time the supplies should have arrived. Good night, ladies."

"Goodnight," Hannah whispered in response.

"Goodnight, Suron." Dania rolled over, her back pressed against Suron's arm.

At four o'clock in the morning, the phone screen lit up on time, and the vibration sound was particularly abrupt in the quiet room. Su Long opened his eyes and immediately reached out to turn off the alarm.

He lowered his head and, using the dim light streaming in from the window, surveyed the room.

Dania rolled over onto her side, her long, slender legs landing unsuspectingly across his waist and abdomen.

The tight denim fabric hugged the full lines of her legs, and the heavy, fleshy feel was transmitted through the fabric, creating a strong sense of pressure.

On the other side, Hannah slept even more soundly. Her head was completely tilted to the side, resting firmly on Suron's right shoulder.

The girl's mouth was open, her breathing even, and a strand of clear saliva spilled from her full lower lip, leaving a large dark wet patch on the shoulder of Su Long's black windbreaker.

"These two guys have such unique sleeping postures," Su Long said, shaking his head speechlessly.

He reached out his left hand and grasped Dania's thigh directly, his five fingers sinking completely into it, feeling an extremely soft yet slightly elastic sensation in his palm.

With a little effort, he lifted the heavy thigh off his body and moved it back to her half of the bed. Then, Su Long turned his head, stretched out two fingers, and precisely pinched Hannah's nose.

With her breathing obstructed, Hannah frowned and suddenly woke up with a short nasal sound. Dania, who was next to her, was also awakened by the noise and sat up, rubbing her sleepy eyes.

Dania looked down at where she had just been, then at Su Long. There was no embarrassment on her face; instead, she smiled frankly and said, "Sorry, Su, this bed is too cramped. I accidentally mistook you for a pillow."

Hannah rubbed her eyes and sat up. Opening her eyes, she saw a puddle of drool on Su Long's shoulder. Touching her own wet lips, she frantically reached out with her sleeve and vigorously wiped Su Long's shoulder, stammering an apology: "I'm so sorry, Su! I was just so tired. I never drool in my sleep!"

Su Long pressed down on her hand, which she was haphazardly wiping, and said calmly, "It's alright, only a small area is wet, it's nothing serious. Hurry up and put on your coat, pack your gear, our supplies should be arriving soon."

The three quickly dressed and checked their weapons. Su Long put "Sirius" back into its holster, pushed open the door, and went downstairs.

In the living room on the first floor, the old mayor Dale and deputy sheriff Jesse were already waiting there. Both of them had heavy dark circles under their eyes, clearly indicating that they hadn't slept much all night.

Just after saying hello, Dania's phone rang in her pocket. She answered the call, and the background noise of an engine came through the receiver.

"Miss, we have arrived over Caster Town. Please provide landing coordinates."

Dania covered the microphone and turned to Dale: "Mayor, is that street outside the town's biggest intersection?"

Dell paused for a moment, not understanding why he was being asked this, but still nodded to confirm: "Yes, turn left and walk 50 meters to the center of town at the crossroads, where it's the widest point—what, are you going to park your car there?"

'

Dania released her grip and decisively gave the order into the phone: "Just stop at the biggest intersection in town, we'll be right out."

After hanging up the phone, she gestured with her chin towards Su Long: "Let's go, let's go pick up the package."

Dale and Jesse followed the three men with puzzled expressions. They pushed open the door, where the white fog was still thick and the night wind was biting cold.

Just three minutes later, two flashing red and blue traffic lights suddenly lit up on the dark horizon in the distance.

Immediately afterwards, a deafening roar of rotors tore through the thick fog overhead, followed by a sudden gust of wind that made the windproof panels on the surrounding wooden houses rattle loudly.

To Dale and Jesse's astonishment, a black McDonnell Douglas 500 small civilian helicopter broke through the white fog, bringing with it a strong downwash, and landed steadily in the center of the intersection.

The powerful searchlights illuminated the surrounding streets as bright as day, forcing a clear view through the thick fog.

The helicopter door opened quickly, and several men in sharp black suits jumped off the plane. They took a black military briefcase and a plastic bucket from the cabin, and walked briskly to Dania against the strong wind, respectfully placing the supplies on the ground.

"Miss, here are all the supplies you requested."

Dania lifted the handbag with one hand, felt its weight, and nodded with satisfaction: "Okay, thank you for your hard work, everyone."

Several men in suits bowed slightly, turned and ran back to the helicopter. With the engine roaring again, the McDonnell Douglas 500 quickly climbed up and disappeared back into the night and thick fog.

The streets returned to silence. Suron and Hannah stood to the side, their expressions unchanged. He had long known about the Yuri family's wealth, while Hannah was already numb to Dania's "money power."

But Dale and Jesse were different. The old mayor's jaw almost dropped to the ground. He opened his mouth, his finger trembling as he pointed in the direction the helicopter had left. He couldn't utter a complete sentence for a long time. Jesse almost dropped the walkie-talkie in his hand. He swallowed hard, his voice slurred.

"My God—am I dreaming? Seattle exorcists are getting helicopters for delivering packages now?"

Dale snapped out of his daze and looked at Dania with a worried expression, his voice filled with intense anxiety: "Miss Dania—with such a large operation, even bringing in helicopters—is the $60,000 we scraped together really enough to cover the gas money?"

Dania unzipped her handbag and replied without looking up, "It's enough, Mayor. Don't worry about the cost."

Then, she opened her handbag, revealing the neatly arranged hardcore equipment inside. Su Long leaned forward and quickly checked it by the light of his flashlight.

Two pieces of C4 plastic explosive wrapped in antistatic paper, weighing a full kilogram; a box of military-grade detonators; a roll of high-strength transparent fishing line; two large bags of heavy high-carbon steel balls and five-inch-long threaded iron nails; and at the bottom, three dark-colored one-piece rain suits.

The equipment was complete and in perfect condition.

Su Long picked up a piece of C4, feeling its clay-like texture with his fingers, and smiled slyly.

He put the explosives back in his bag, turned to Jesse who was still standing there in a daze, and asked directly, "Sheriff, who was responsible for hanging all that raw meat on the scarecrow?"

Jesse snapped out of his daze and instinctively straightened his back as he replied, "It was me. Cole was in charge of the outer perimeter security, and I was in charge of tying the meat to those wires."

"very good."

Suron picked up the heavy military briefcase and patted Jesse on the shoulder with his other hand: "You're coming with us now, get in the car and get ready to go. It's time to give that guy a little something special."

Jesse nodded, bent down to pick up the empty plastic bucket beside him, and followed the others to the open-air parking lot next to the intersection.

Dania took out a car key and pressed it. A black Land Rover not far away immediately unlocked, and the tailgate slowly opened.

"Put the supplies in," Dania gestured, tilting her head.

Su Long walked over carrying a heavy military briefcase. Just as he was about to stuff the bag into the corner of the trunk, his eyes were instantly drawn to a large object lying flat next to him.

It was a long-handled machete with an extremely sharp blade. The black metal handle was wrapped with non-slip Kevlar woven straps, and the end was fitted with an exquisite lead weight. The whole weapon exuded a simple and brutal killing aura.

Dania noticed Suron's gaze, reached out and patted the broad back of the axe, producing a dull metallic clang.

A smile played on her lips, her eyes gleaming with excitement: "Hehe, a newly customized gadget, forged entirely from silver-tungsten alloy, what do you think?"

"Although the chainsaw I had before was useful, its internal mechanical structure was too delicate. I don't know what kind of terrible environment I'll encounter on this long trip. It's more practical to bring this kind of pure melee weapon."

As Su Long looked at the heavy axe that was half a person tall, an image involuntarily flashed into his mind: a tiger woman dressed in leather, grabbing the axe with both hands, roaring as she charged forward and cleaved the monster in two, blood and flesh flying everywhere.

The visuals are stunning and incredibly impactful.

Just thinking about it is awesome!
