Apocalypse: The Primordial Pearl Recognizes Its Master, Starting with Infinite Space
Chapter 412 The Protoss's Scheme
"Actually, it's not entirely without a solution." After a brief silence, Dark Ancestor spoke.
All eyes turned to her at the same time.
"I've already reached an agreement with that powerful being from beyond the realm. We will no longer interfere with each other. We will stop chasing him, and he must not overdraw the World Tree's essence and destroy our universe."
Dark Ancestor paused, then continued, "Moreover, he also has designs on that human. He witnessed Lin Chen take the entire home planet into a massive space and is very interested in that treasure. He's willing to use his methods to help us track Lin Chen, but the treasure must remain his."
Poison Ancestor frowned: "Is he trustworthy?"
"Untrustworthy." Dark Ancestor said calmly, "But the conditions he's proposing don't conflict with our demands."
Kong Zu asked in a deep voice, "To what extent can he accomplish?"
"He said his treasure recorded Lin Chen's aura and could locate him." Dark Ancestor looked at Devouring Ancestor. "Second brother, I shouldn't have brought this up now. But you've seen the situation on Iron Prison Star. If we drag this out any longer, he'll only become more and more difficult to deal with."
The Devouring Ancestor did not respond immediately. His gaze lingered on the Dark Ancestor's face for a moment, as if he were weighing the pros and cons.
Finally, he nodded: "You are responsible for contacting that powerful figure and confirming whether his abilities are reliable."
Then he added hatefully, "If that still doesn't work, we'll have no choice but to launch another war against the Tianyuan Star Region to force him to show himself. I believe the two sides have already colluded!"
Everyone nodded immediately. The reason they hadn't attacked the Tianyuan Star Region before was because they were afraid that the Demon Ancestor and the Dragon Ancestor would do something like Lin Chen.
Now that it is inevitable, the so-called ceasefire agreement is just a piece of waste paper.
Lei Zu was the first to stand up. He stopped at the entrance of the hall and glanced at Kong Zu: "Call me when you need to make a move. I want to see for myself what kind of style his Five Elements Thunder Technique is."
Kong Zu nodded: "Yes."
Lei Zu said no more, stepped out of the palace gate, and his figure disappeared outside the door.
Feng Zu also stood up, nodded to the people in the hall, said nothing more, and his figure silently disappeared in the air currents.
Only the Devouring Ancestor, the Void Ancestor, the Light Ancestor, and the Poison Ancestor remained in the hall.
"That's all for now." The Devouring Ancestor also stood up. "I'll have someone notify you once I've confirmed things with Fifth Brother."
Anzu didn't say much, only nodded slightly, and his figure silently disappeared into the shadows, leaving the ancestral star.
Instead of heading directly to the location of the extraterrestrial powerhouse, she first circled around the edge of the void for a distance to confirm that there were no tailing signs behind her before changing direction and flying along an extremely remote route into the depths of a desolate star field.
This is the border area between the divine realm and the unknown star field, a place where no one travels for years, and even merchant ships never pass through.
She landed on a desolate planet riddled with holes from a meteorite impact. The surface was covered in dust, with no atmosphere, no water, only rubble that gleamed coldly white in the faint starlight.
Anzu stood in front of a sloping rock formation, making no signal, simply waiting.
A moment later, the space distorted slightly, and a voice came from behind her, unhurried: "You're half a day earlier than the agreed time."
Anzu didn't turn around: "Things went smoothly, so I came ahead of schedule."
She turned around and saw who was speaking.
The man was tall and slender with an ordinary face and no particularly outstanding features; he was the kind of person who wouldn't attract attention in a crowd.
The only special thing about him was his eyes, which were very light in color, almost transparent light gray, as if they could see into the deep and far distance.
He wore a dark gray robe, the collar loosely open, giving him a relaxed and casual appearance. Leaning against a half-collapsed rock wall, his gaze fell on the Dark Ancestor, and his tone was relaxed: "The matter of Iron Prison Star seems to be making you quite anxious?"
Dark Ancestor didn't respond to that: "We agree to your conditions, and we will not interfere with each other. You help us find that human, and we will no longer interfere in your affairs."
The man didn't answer immediately, but looked at her quietly for a moment before speaking: "Alright. I will guide you, but you cannot touch his spatial treasure."
"We never intended to make a move," Dark Ancestor said firmly. "What we want is him as a person; the treasure is not our concern."
The man nodded: "He's currently moving rapidly, and his direction should be the Morkan star system."
After saying that, he tilted his head, his gaze lingering on Anzu for a moment. His tone remained casual, but the meaning behind his words was anything but: "I'm already tired of those ten beauties you sent before. Send another batch."
Dark Ancestor's fingers tightened slightly, his brows furrowed, but he didn't react: "Ten is already the limit."
The man smiled wickedly: "You have no right to refuse, unless you don't want to leave this level ten cage."
Anzu was silent for a moment, suppressing his anger, and finally said only, "Someone will deliver it in a couple of days."
Just as she was about to turn and leave, the man added, "Don't keep me waiting too long. I'm not a very patient person."
His tone remained casual, and his shoulders trembled slightly with an air of dread.
She didn't turn around or answer; her figure blended into the shadows and disappeared from the ground.
The man didn't linger; his figure slowly faded away in front of the rock formations, and the abandoned planet returned to its desolate state.
Dark Ancestor returned to the ancestral star, walked straight through the long corridor outside the hall, and pushed open the door of the main hall. Inside the hall, Devouring Ancestor, Void Ancestor, Light Ancestor, and Poison Ancestor were already waiting in their respective seats.
She relayed the coordinates the man had given her and then returned to her seat.
After listening, the Devouring Ancestor scanned the star map and landed on the location of the Morkan Star Region.
He tapped the area with his finger, and the mark changed from gray to dark red.
After pinpointing the location, Poison Ancestor's brow furrowed, and he said urgently, "Water Marsh Star is over there. It's one of our most important medicinal herb bases, accounting for 30% of the Divine Race's pill production. If he heads there, the losses will be even greater than with Iron Prison Star. We can't wait any longer."
The Devouring Ancestor did not answer immediately, his gaze lingering on the star map for a moment before finally settling on the Dark Ancestor: "Can you be certain that the information he provided is accurate?"
Anzu said calmly, "It should be accurate."
After listening, the Devouring Ancestor did not ask any further questions. His gaze returned to the star map, and he said in a low voice, "Then let's prepare."
Subsequently, guided by the spatial laws of the Void Ancestor, the seven progenitors quietly headed towards the Water Marsh Star in the Morkan Star Region.
A month later, the Little Fish entered the Morcan star system.
During the voyage, Lin Chen went into seclusion to reorganize the Five Elements Thunder Technique based on the insights gained from the battle with Kong Zu. He ordered Xiao Yu to travel on her own while he sank into Creation Island to polish the still rough connections one by one.
Now that he has emerged from seclusion, he immediately returned to reality, put away the Little Fish, raised his hand and tore open a spatial rift, heading towards the Water Marsh Star, a major stronghold of the gods in this star field.
Unbeknownst to him, the seven progenitors had been waiting for him on the planet Water Marsh for quite some time.
