Chapter 105 Division

crunch—

The scales rubbed against the rock wall, making a grating, twisting sound. Roland squeezed out through the narrow gap, barely wide enough for one person to pass through.

His landing point was a naturally formed rock platform, with the mine tunnel ground just two feet below. He didn't rush to jump down, but instead looked back at the battlefield.

The mine tunnel bends here, the deep blue color completely swallowed by the rock walls, leaving only profound darkness. He can't see the specific battle situation, but he can glimpse parts of it.

The barbarian's roar was like the howl of a giant beast, mixed with a sticky hiss, the sound unique to Celine's staff as it drew blood.

Shouts, sounds of fighting, and roars mingled together, interspersed with occasional cries of pain. The battle was extremely fierce, and a thick, pungent stench permeated the surroundings.

In the magical perception, the blood-red magic power flickered, each time it lit up, a burst of light would extinguish, only to condense into a new blood-red hue.

The barbarian held Celine back.

This is exactly what Roland wanted to see.

He withdrew his gaze, jumped off the rock face, bent his knuckles, and gently tapped three times on the blue crystal ore on the rock face.

Tap, tap, tap.

The sound was crisp and evenly spaced, like the sound of dripping water.

Roland began to count to sixty in his mind at the same time.

This was the code he and Cole had agreed upon; if he could hear it, and if he could escape to his side within a minute, he would survive.

If not, then he will no longer consider Cole and will proceed directly to the next step of the plan, since time is of the essence.

In the center of the battlefield.

Red light and black radiance intertwined to form an ever-expanding vortex, with blood splattering in the air, congealing into thin lines that danced and weaved like living snakes.

Celine waved her staff, the veins on its surface pulsating rapidly, and the dark red crystal at its tip emitted a blinding light—

-

Mang unleashed complex spells.

The barbarian was covered in wounds; his thighs, chest, and arms were riddled with gashes, and blood gushed out uncontrollably, forming blood streaks that were pulled, drawn, and swallowed by the staff in mid-air.

roar-

He roared, his double-edged axe sweeping across, cutting through the approaching line of blood with a precise arc, the fierce force aimed directly at Celine's face.

boom.

The corpse of an Imperial soldier, already dead on the ground, suddenly stood up and, controlled by the surging blood within him, floated towards Celine, forcefully blocking the attack.

The axe blade cleaved through the armor, bones flew everywhere, but no blood flowed out. The corpse's internal organs were shriveled up as if it had been dead for months.

This is Blood Puppet, the signature spell of the Blood Mage.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Celine swiftly swung her staff, and blood condensed in mid-air into a sharp arrow that pierced the head of the blood golem in front of her and embedded itself in the barbarian's left shoulder.

The barbarian staggered back half a step, looked down at his left shoulder, and saw that no blood was flowing out; instead, it had been absorbed by Celine and become part of her power.

But he showed no fear. Instead, he licked his lips, his smile filled with bloodthirsty madness: "You—can't kill me."

Celine did not respond, coldly waving her staff again, drawing blood from a soldier, and conjuring it into a spear to strike the barbarian.

This barbarian is indeed a formidable opponent, but if she can suppress me, then I can kill her!

the other side.

Cole crouched in the shadows of the rock wall, less than ten feet from the battlefield. He could see Celine's back, the dead soldiers, and the bloodstains dancing in the air.

When the three knocking sounds came from the rock wall, his heart almost stopped for a moment.

He really came.

Trembling, Cole stared intently at the situation on the battlefield and began counting down sixty seconds.

Celine and the barbarian exchanged attacks again, blood splattered and rocks rained down. She noticed the abnormal blood flow of Cole, but did not pay attention to it.

An ordinary person will naturally feel some fear on an extraordinary battlefield.

Fifty seconds.

The barbarian swung his axe again, the resulting gust of wind causing Celine's red robe to flutter and tearing the hem, leaving a bloody gash on her waist.

She tapped her staff lightly, and a red light suddenly shone. The seven corpses on the ground stood up at the same time, transforming into blood puppets that charged towards the enemy in bizarre postures.

Forty seconds.

The thrill of battle made the barbarian laugh wildly. He swung his battle axe, tearing the air apart and sending shrieks echoing throughout the cave, cleaving the two blood golems in two at the waist.

Thirty seconds.

Celine raised her left hand and ignited the blood in a soldier's body from a distance, causing him to stumble and run toward the barbarian, exploding into a cloud of blood mist.

Black energy flowed around the barbarian's body, resisting the blood mist rushing towards him, while his double-edged axe aimed straight for Celine's throat.

Fifteen seconds.

Cole slowly got up, pressed himself against the rock wall, and moved backward inch by inch. His blood surged, and a metallic taste rose in his throat—the invisible effect of the staff.

ten seconds.

Celine suddenly frowned and glanced back in Cole's direction.

A figure running wildly came into view.

So she snapped her fingers lightly.

With a whoosh, the blood lines in the air coalesced into a blurry, blood-red monster, leaving a trail of afterimages as it attacked Cole.

Five seconds.

Cole heard a sound behind him, a viscous, writhing sound of blood mixed with a hissing sound as it tore through the air, like a vengeful ghost.

His footsteps quickened, and his voice grew closer.

You can't outrun them.

When he realized this, his face was filled with despair, but his legs were still moving mechanically, the last vestige of his body's survival instinct.

one second.

The crimson monster coiled around Cole's neck, his breathing gradually stopped, and he opened his eyes to look at the corner so close to him, his body already beginning to stiffen.

laugh-

The silver blade swept past, its sharp aura leaving a bloody gash on his face. Flowing runes suddenly surged, shattering the monster's magical pathways.

pat.

Blood dripped from his back, splashing onto the gravel pavement. Cole stood frozen in place, his robes clinging tightly to his back, sticky and disgusting.

"Walk."

A familiar voice came from around the corner. Roland stood calmly, watching the battlefield in the distance, as if he had just made a casual strike.

Cole was in tears, unable to utter a single word, only knowing to run desperately, leaving the passage and heading deeper into the mine.

Celine sensed it, and she dodged another axe blow from the barbarian, gazing into the darkness.

A stranger stood there, wearing a tattered black robe that vaguely revealed crimson scales. He held a silver longsword in his hand and a javelin that gleamed with an eerie light was slung across his back.

It's him! He didn't leave!

Celine's pupils contracted sharply as she instantly compared the image to the one on the plaque. Countless clues connected, and the vague truth began to emerge.

But the thought was interrupted as soon as it surfaced.

Roland stared at the silver-level professional, reached into his dimensional bag, took out a magic crystal cannonball, and threw it!

Celine saw what was flying towards her and instinctively raised her staff, causing countless lines of blood to surge as she tried to repel it.

But she miscalculated the trajectory!

Precise targeting played a crucial role at this moment. The cannonball arced through the air, past the bloodline, past the blood puppet, past the rushing Imperial soldiers, and landed three feet away from Celine!

boom-!!!

The shockwave, carrying dust and debris, swept across the entire battlefield.

The crimson shield that had just appeared in front of Celine was torn apart by the ensuing energy storm, and she was thrown to the ground. Her red robe was ripped, and the bloodstains on her exposed skin were even deeper.

The barbarian was also forced to retreat, only managing to stabilize himself by plunging his double-edged axe into the ground.

Amidst the billowing smoke and dust, Celine peered through the swirling dust at the blurry figure. Just as she was about to raise her staff, her pupils widened in shock once more!

The second one!

"You," Boom!!!

An even more violent explosion than the first one.

The rock face trembled, and boulders rained down.

Celine was thrown back by the blast wave, crashing into the rock wall behind her. Blood gushed from her mouth, and her staff nearly slipped from her grasp. The barbarian was also struck in the back by a boulder, falling to one knee and roaring as he smashed the rocks.

The two looked up.

Roland has already pulled out the third shell.

A red light suddenly surged in Celine's eyes, and she turned into a blood mist as she tried to escape the area before the explosion.

But she guessed wrong.

The target this time is the gap that runs through the entire dome to the side and front of Roland, which is one of the support points of this mine tunnel.

The instant the coin slid across the surface, Celine finally saw his intention and let out a sharp scream.

"No-

'

boom!!!

The mine tunnel collapsed, and billowing smoke and dust filled the air.

When Celine transformed back into human form, she was greeted by a deathly, eerie blue.

The gravel blocked the passage, and the broken blue crystal turned into countless dust particles, falling down and making everything beautiful.

I heard heavy breathing.

The barbarian crawled out of the rubble, his eyes burning with excitement, his double-edged axe gleaming black as he lunged at her step by step.

Celine turned her head and stared at him coldly.

Raise your hand, cast a spell!

Kill this barbarian, then go kill those two insects!
