I'm building Gundams in America

Chapter 212 America Has No Human Touch (Seeking Monthly Tickets)

Police lights flashed.

There were about twenty cars parked outside a bungalow not far from the Dengtashan villa area.

The house was surrounded by layers upon layers of people, making it impossible to pass through.

At the very back are the unlicensed ICE SUV and the armored vehicle.

Outside were several police cars and three vehicles marked DEA (Denis Agency for Drug Enforcement).

There were two sets of warning tape alone.

One was from the local police, and the other from ICE.

Wayne's beat-up Toyota slowly drove up and was immediately stopped by the local police on the outermost side.

One of the detectives shone his flashlight into the car and shouted, "Sir, a police investigation is underway here. Please leave immediately!"

Not only was his tone aggressive, but he also placed one hand directly on his waist.

Before Wayne could even show his identification, two fully armed ICE agents nearby saw Wayne sitting in the car and immediately rushed over, yelling at the detective, "Fuck! Are you blind? This is our ICE supervisor, Wayne, the hero who arrested illegal immigrants tonight!"

"Get those ridiculous, fucking police tapes down right now!"

As they spoke, the two men immediately released the safety on their automatic rifles.

The detective stared in disbelief, sweat immediately beading on his forehead. He said to Wayne, "Excuse me, sir, no offense meant. I didn't know you—"

Why is the ICE manager dressed like Jesus?

If you don't tell me, how will anyone know who you are?

However, given the current popularity of ICE, he clearly had no room for explanation and immediately opened the cordon to let Wayne's car in.

Seeing this, Mike, who was driving, and David, who was sitting in the back seat, couldn't help but look excited.

"Damn, bro, did you see that cop's face? Sorry, sir, no offense intended." Hahaha, that was fucking awesome! I almost orgasmed just looking at his face—"

"Is this the ICE? It's way cooler than the Gestapo in Nazi Germany!"

Wayne smiled slightly and said, "Bro, I forgot to tell you, I recently gained the authority to form an ICE special agent team. If you're willing, you can join ICE and become ICE agents."

David's eyes widened in disbelief. "WTF!? Is this real? Come on, bro, I can't wait!"

"Damn it, once I become an ICE agent, I'm going to specifically target those upscale white neighborhoods, and when those damn racist cops pull me over, I'll flash my ICE badge and make those fucking cops kneel down and apologize to me!"

"God, I can't even imagine how awesome that would be, like Martin Luther King Jr. going to a brothel after giving a speech to 100,000 people for the Civil Rights Movement!"

"Hey, I'm a fucking black agent, you damn racist cops better behave yourselves!"

As they were talking, Wayne had already parked the car outside the house, and got out with Mike and David, and came to the front door of the house.

Several heavily armed ICE agents, led by Kevin, were blocking the entrance.

A Seattle police officer, a DEA agent, and two FBI agents were being blocked outside by several people, arguing heatedly about something.

Logically speaking, both the FBI and DEA are extremely powerful departments, but they had to be much more restrained when facing ICE.

"This person is related to Al Menjo's whereabouts. Please let us in. We need to speak with the supervisor in charge of this matter!"

The DEA agent shouted.

"Brother, do you know what it means to obstruct the FBI's investigation? We've been following this lead for almost a year!" The FBI agent argued heatedly.

The ICE agents blocking the door, led by Kevin, stood silently with their automatic rifles in hand, coldly staring at the people in front of them.

Let the other party rage in vain.

The local police were one thing, but the DEA and FBI were used to being domineering and had never suffered such a setback before; they all looked grim.

Given ICE's recent assertiveness, they had no choice but to try their best to reason with them.

After all, the current president trusts ICE the most.

Departments like the FBI, which have even investigated current presidents and nearly killed them, have recently had a large number of agents dismissed and are already worn out.

Upon seeing Wayne arrive, Kevin was overjoyed and said, "Manager Wayne, I'm sorry to disturb your rest again. Manager Hunter is waiting for you inside. Please come in."

Several of his men automatically made way for Wayne to enter.

Wayne nodded and led Mike and David, who had changed into makeshift protective suits, into the room.

Unlike the previous torture chamber, this was clearly an ordinary house, and there were signs of forced entry at the door.

Several ICE agents were searching the room.

In the center of the living room lay two corpses, Pepe and Matteo.

Two ICE medical examiners were also examining the body nearby.

Supervisor Hunter was pacing back and forth with his hands behind his back, anxiously waiting for something.

As Wayne entered, Hunter's face immediately lit up with a warm smile. He walked over to Wayne and said, "Manager Wayne, you've finally arrived. I'm so sorry to disturb your rest, but for such a big matter, I think you must be there—"

Then he suddenly lowered his voice: "This is related to our credit tonight—"

Hunter pointed at the two corpses and said, "These damn illegal immigrant drug dealers are so cunning. The brothers were searching that villa when they suddenly heard gunshots over here. They searched all the way here and found these two."

Hunter, his expression somewhat agitated, pointed at Pepe's corpse and said, "This is Pepe Cervantes, a close confidant of El Menjohn, the boss of CJNG, the biggest boss in our operation, just like Saruman in 'The Lord of the Rings' before Sauron awakened!"

Wayne's face showed shock, his brows furrowed slightly, and he nodded, saying, "God help me, he almost got away—so, they had a falling out?"

Hunter shook his head, glanced at the ICE agents present, and whispered to Wayne, "No, Director Wayne, I believe we've been pursuing Pepe Cervantes together from the very beginning. He's never been out of our ICE's sights—"

Wayne raised an eyebrow and said, "Of course, the brothers chased them all the way from that villa to here, where a fierce gunfight ensued. Eventually, the two thugs were surrounded in a room, and in their desperate struggle, they turned on each other. Under the immense pressure from the ICE agents, this guy—"

Wayne pointed at Matteo: "He shot and killed Pepe Cervantes, then overdosed on drugs and committed suicide out of guilt—"

Hunter was overjoyed and quickly said, "That's exactly right!"

The reason he called Wayne over was to standardize their rhetoric.

After all, the reward for an illegal immigrant drug cartel leader to escape encirclement and then turn on each other is far less than the reward for committing suicide out of fear of punishment while being pursued by ICE agents.

I was still thinking about how to explain it to Wayne, afraid that he wouldn't agree.

Unexpectedly, Wayne was so quick to understand and immediately grasped his meaning. Moreover, his rhetoric was even more perfect than what he had prepared himself.

At this moment, the more Hunter looked at Wayne, the more he admired him, and even felt a slight sense of worship.

He is truly a good brother, a good colleague, and a good saint!

Moreover, Hunter had a vague feeling.

The person in question will definitely not stop at being a department head of honor within ICE; they will most likely rise through the ranks rapidly.

After all, what the current cabinet and the current White House need most is this kind of eloquent and worldly-wise talent!

Only then did Hunter notice David and Mike standing to the side, and asked, "Who are these two brothers?"

Wayne smiled slightly and said, "Manager Hunter may not know this, but I have another identity: I am a mortician at St. Mary Biotechnology Company, that is, a forensic assistant. These two brothers are my assistants."

Hunter was taken aback at first, then quickly laughed and said, "I see, Manager Wayne, you really know how to make money!"

"According to current policy, ICE personnel cannot collect bodies themselves. They need to register the body with the local police before the body can be collected by local forensic personnel."

"Wait until no one claims them before proceeding with further processing—these illegal immigrant drug dealers will definitely not be claimed by anyone."

Hunter then shouted towards the door, "Police, come in and do an autopsy!"
