I'm building Gundams in America
Chapter 396 Dog Dialysis
Since defeating the giant wolf king in the Mukshot tribe reserve, the puppy Wick has leveled up again.
He directly earned the title of Dog King.
However, unlike his previous muscular build, the puppy Wick is now smaller, about the size of a teddy bear, and looks shiny and smooth, showing no signs of being a fierce or vicious dog.
Only Wayne knew that although this guy had shrunk in size, he was actually heavier, whether due to increased bone density or some kind of spatial folding technology. Those steel teeth that could already bite through tree trunks could now bite right through the shell of a car.
Moreover, its skin is very tough, and its fur is so smooth that it's hard to scratch.
The lecturer standing to the side was stunned by what he saw, speechless and unable to close his mouth.
"Hey bro, what's going on? Why are all these black guys calling you 'daddy'?" the lecturer muttered.
He had encountered these street gangs many times in Los Angeles, and each time he survived by smiling, saying auspicious words, and wearing mud armor. He never thought that these people could be so polite one day.
"I thought I was going to get a male version of the Black-and-White-Women sofa thing, and I thought my reputation was going to be ruined right there. But then they suddenly called you 'Dad'!"
The lecturer became increasingly excited as he spoke, and, seizing the opportunity, continued:
"Since these black guys call you 'Dad,' then given our relationship, shouldn't they call me 'Uncle'? Then I can practically walk around this slum like a hog! This whole mess... even this mud armor can be taken off..."
He was incredibly grateful that he had just managed to build a good relationship with Wayne, and secretly resolved to cling to this powerful figure. Come to think of it, Wayne wasn't just an internet celebrity, but a saint. In America, a place where almost everyone is religiously obsessed, it's perfectly normal for a saint to take gang members as godchildren.
The large, fat black man standing nearby said to Wayne:
"Godfather Wayne, my name is Nick. Back in Seattle, I hung out on the streets with the Saul brothers before we moved to Los Angeles. The Saul brothers often called me and mentioned you. I never imagined you'd actually come to Los Angeles; it's truly a blessing from God!"
Nick spoke with an excited smile on his face.
Thor had often boasted to him on the phone about how awesome and powerful his godfather Wayne was. Nick had also watched related videos online and was quite envious of Thor.
To my surprise, they actually came to Los Angeles, and right here in the poor neighborhood!
Wayne looked at the tall, fat Nick in front of him, smiled slightly, and said:
"Nick, good boy, thank you."
"If you encounter any trouble, remember to come to me."
Upon hearing this, several Blood Gang members under Nick's command frowned, feeling somewhat displeased.
They didn't know any Thor, Seattle Saints, or Godfather Wayne.
In their view, Nick, the leader, was simply giving the other party face by calling him Godfather, which was nothing more than a way of showing respect.
How come this so-called Godfather Wayne is getting so arrogant? Does he really think he's something special?
In a poor neighborhood like this, it should be the other party asking them for help.
Just then, the door to the pet shop was pushed open with a "bang," and a fat, middle-aged Mexican man barged in, saying to the shop owner, Nick, "Nick, bro, save me, I... my kidneys are failing... I'm dying..."
Nick frowned and said:
"MotherFucker...McGee, why is your face so yellow? Did you get gang-raped by those Minions? Did you bathe in their saliva?"
The man in front of me, McGee, had a sallow complexion, almost like the color of a Minion.
McGee said, panting heavily:
"Brother, I'm having trouble breathing... I'm swollen... The people at the shady Luo clinic said I have severe kidney failure, but they don't have a dialysis machine..."
"I can't afford private hospitals, and those damn public hospitals have waiting lists of at least six months. By then, my grave will be overgrown with trees... Please save me, Nick brothers... I know you have... dialysis machines..."
Nick frowned and said:
"Jesus Christ...do you know what you're doing? You're a fucking dialysis machine for dogs, you're a human being..."
McGee shook his head and said:
"No, bro, you're wrong. This is America. Dogs are more noble than me... I'm really going to die, brother. Please, give me dialysis. I'll pay you back later when I survive and start working..."
"Or, if I die, you can sell my body, please..."
Nick said:
"I can give you dialysis, but the maximum power of a pet dialysis machine can only help you complete one-fifth of the normal dialysis, which is far from enough..."
As he spoke, he snapped his fingers, and a Black woman in a white lab coat and mask came out from the inner room. She frowned upon seeing McKee and said:
"Seriously? We've already done dialysis for three people this week, and another one? Incomplete dialysis is completely useless." Nick waved his hand.
"Make it for him."
Before McGee could even walk into the inner room, he suddenly stumbled and fell to his knees, his head hitting the ground!
Just then, a hand grabbed his arm and supported him.
McKee's eyes were glazed over; he was on the verge of collapse, his vision blurring. He struggled to lift his head and vaguely saw a black-haired, black-eyed man in a long robe before him. He murmured involuntarily:
"God, Jesus Christ... have you come to receive me? But someone like me shouldn't go to hell..."
Wayne raised his hand and placed it on McGee's forehead, saying with a look of pity:
"McGee, McGee, your mother still needs a son, your daughter still needs a father, your wife's grave still needs to be cleaned, now is not the time for you to die..."
"I will... bring you back to the human world!"
As he spoke, he instantly activated the [Basic Witch Doctor] skill.
A warm energy immediately surged from Wayne's palm, flowing down Nick's forehead and into his body, rapidly purifying his blood! Then, to the astonishment of everyone around, McGee's skin color visibly changed from yellow to a normal color, and his previous weakness vanished. He suddenly opened his eyes and began to gasp for breath.
"My God! What is this...?" McGee raised his hands, looking at the color of his skin in disbelief, and then suddenly touched his cheek.
The discomfort he had just experienced had been greatly relieved, and he felt as if he were completely free of any symptoms.
It wasn't just the feeling of completing a dialysis session; it also alleviated symptoms of kidney failure.
The lecturer quickly chimed in from the side, gesturing towards Wayne in broken English:
"Bro, saint, this is...you...bless...saving."
The Latino man, McKee, looked up at Wayne, his eyes instantly reddening, and said:
"My God...you are just like that statue I saw in Rio de Janeiro...you are..."
Wayne said in fluent Mexican-accented Spanish:
"McGee, I've blessed you on God's behalf. Spend quality time with your family and never drink again. You'll need a few more blessings." McGee said, trembling.
"Saint, thank you, God bless you... Thank you for saving me... Oh God... Please forgive my past mistakes, from now on I will turn over a new leaf..."
As he spoke, he took Wayne's hand and kissed the Messiah ring, his face filled with gratitude and the joy of surviving a close call.
He then stood up and hugged the lecturer next to him with tears in his eyes.
Nick and the other Blood Gang members stared in disbelief at the scene before them, utterly dumbfounded.
McGee, who was just on the verge of death, was instantly full of energy again after Wayne simply reached out and patted his head!
What the hell is this if not a miracle?
The saints are real! The rumors are true!
There really is the blessing of saints, and it is truly possible to bring the dead back to life!
Most importantly, this person was now standing right in front of them, and they had witnessed this miracle with their own eyes.
They all knew McGee; he was just a Mexican laborer living nearby. There was no way he could have conspired with the other party beforehand. Besides, they all knew that McGee had been suffering from kidney failure for a long time.
It's clear that all of this is true.
Nick asked instinctively:
"McGee, are you still going to do dog dialysis?"
McGee shook his head vigorously and said:
"Haha, thank you for your kindness, Nick, I'm all better now, and I'm going back to work right away!"
Then he turned to Wayne, took Wayne's hand again, bent down to kiss the ring, and said humbly:
"Oh, Saint, thank you so much..."
With that, he turned around and left happily.
Upon seeing the scene before them, the Blood Gang members in the pet shop all gasped and looked at each other in disbelief.
A muscular, strong man said with a pained expression:
"Oh, Godfather Wayne, I...I have some unspeakable pain...Please...Please bless me..."
As he spoke, he knelt down in front of Wayne.
