In a luxury hotel owned by the Russian mafia, Nikolai sat on a sofa, smoking a cigar and waiting quietly.

Sofia sat obediently to the side, her expression slightly uneasy.

"Father, you promised me you wouldn't let Wayne get hurt—" she said in a low voice, looking at her father, Nicholas, who was standing beside her.

"Dad!" Sophia cried out in shock, her eyes wide, as she rushed to the window and screamed at the source of the flames.

Andrei betrayed his father!

Just as the explosion rang out, a series of gunshots came from inside the hotel, indicating that a fierce gun battle had broken out.

Tears welled up in Sofia's eyes. She suppressed her grief, turned around, grabbed her handbag, and opened it to find that the miniature pistol was not there.

She then immediately kicked off her high heels, ran to the fireplace, took down a double-barreled shotgun hanging on the wall, and pulled out a handful of bullets from a deerskin bag hanging on the wall, and began to load them quickly.
