Scarface Liu was completely stunned.

His bloodshot eyes bulged out of their sockets, and he seemed to have forgotten the excruciating pain in his body, managing to squeeze out a few distorted words with difficulty.

"What...do you mean?"

"It's very simple."

Wang Biao straightened up, put his hands in the pockets of his mink coat, and looked down at him: "Hand over the rat hole where Old Scar is hiding, and I'll help you avenge that cuckolded man."

The open space fell into a deathly silence.

Only the flames inside the gasoline can crackled and popped in the north wind, with sparks flying everywhere.

Scarface Liu remained silent for a full ten seconds.

Suddenly, as if he had heard the biggest joke in the world, he threw his head back and burst into hysterical laughter.

"Ha ha ha ha……"

The laughter aggravated his broken ribs, and he coughed violently, mouthfuls of black blood gushing down his chin.

"Wang Biao, do you think I'm some three-year-old still wearing open-crotch pants?"

As Scarface Liu coughed up blood, he stared intently at Wang Biao with his bloodshot eyes, his face full of mockery.

"Help me get revenge? How dare you say such a ridiculous thing! I know perfectly well that if I utter even half a word about Old Scar today, I won't even be able to leave this junkyard! You can just turn around and have your bastards chop me to pieces and fill the hole!"

He gritted his teeth, his voice hoarse like sandpaper grinding: "You think you can trick me with this empty promise? No way!"

Wang Biao showed no embarrassment whatsoever when Scarface Liu exposed him on the spot.

He slowly took out a lighter from his coat pocket and relit the nearly extinguished cigar.

"Tsk."

Wang Biao exhaled a puff of smoke, his thick double chin piling up with a smile: "Scarface, you still underestimate me."

He casually drew a half-circle in the air with the finger holding the cigar, then turned and shouted behind him.

"Xiaolong, go open the trunk of our car."

Wang Biao turned to the side, making room for a view: "Let Scarface see for himself whether I, Wang, am honest or not in business."

The burly man immediately responded in a muffled voice.

He strode to the back of the black Santana, took out his key, and put it in the lock.

"Click".

The dull thud of the trunk popping open was particularly jarring in the deathly silence of the empty ground.

The burly man leaned forward and pulled, using his arms to yank a rough burlap sack with a knotted opening out of it.

The sack was clean and spotless, without a trace of blood.

But the moment it hit the frozen ground, the sack seemed to come alive, and began to twist and struggle wildly.

"Waaah! Waaah—"

Through the rough fabric, a woman's shrill, terrified scream could be heard.

The people inside were kicking and thrashing about, rolling violently on the cinder-covered ground like dying fish, kicking up clouds of dust.

The burly man frowned, a hint of impatience flashing in his eyes.

He strode forward, raised his large foot, clad in military rubber boots, and kicked hard at the silhouette of the figure in the center of the sack.

"Bang!"

With a dull thud, the woman in the sack let out a piercing scream, her body arching violently like a shrimp before falling completely still, leaving only faint twitches.

The burly man bent down and grabbed the hemp rope that was tied up.

He dragged the sack like a dead dog all the way to Scarface Liu.

The rough canvas rubbed violently against the cinder ground, producing a dull, grating rustling sound.

Wang Biao stepped forward, a cigar between his fingers.

He gently kicked the still slightly twitching sack with the tip of his leather shoe and slowly exhaled a puff of smoke.

"Scarface, this is the sincerity I've prepared for you."

Wang Biao stroked the fat on his chin, then squinted his eyes thoughtfully, "If I remember correctly, your woman's name is Zhao something... Song Honglan, right?"

Scarface Liu was stiff all over.

He stared intently at the sack so close to him, his eyes bloodshot as if they were about to burst.

His Adam's apple bobbed up and down with difficulty, but he gritted his teeth and remained silent.

Wang Biao looked at Scarface Liu's gritted teeth and shook his head with a smile.

"Looks like Scarface still doesn't trust me, his brother."

He tilted his head slightly and casually raised his chin at the burly man: "Open it. Let Scarface take a good look and inspect the goods."

The burly man squatted down, pulled a folding knife from his waist, and with a casual slash, cut the thick hemp rope binding the knot.

As soon as the bag was loosened, a woman with disheveled hair and covered in coal dust crawled out of it.

Her mouth was still stuffed with a tattered rag of indistinguishable color, and her wrists were tied behind her back with hemp rope.

As soon as the woman crawled out of the sack, she saw the menacing-looking men with knives around her by the firelight, and tears and snot instantly streamed down her face.

She didn't even dare to stand up, and writhed on the ground like a frightened maggot.

Then, disregarding everything, she knelt on the frozen cinder ground and frantically kowtowed in Wang Biao's direction.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

His forehead slammed heavily onto the frozen ground covered in sharp coal dust, producing a series of dull thuds that made your teeth ache.

In the blink of an eye, the woman's forehead was smashed by coal dust and turned into a bloody mess.

She seemed oblivious to the pain, letting out desperate, muffled sobs as she trembled violently, desperately burying her head in the mud.

The burly man watched her fight desperately, his mind annoyed by the coal dust that was being kicked up.

"They're wailing!"

He snorted coldly, raised his large foot, clad in military rubber boots, and delivered a vicious kick to the woman's shoulder.

"Bang!"

The woman was kicked and rolled twice on the sharp cinder ground.

She curled up in agony, her mouth wide open, letting out a terrible scream of "Ah ah" from her throat, like a leaky, broken blower, unable to utter a single complete word.

Her face, stained with blood and soot, lifted haphazardly, looking around like a frightened wild animal.

Suddenly, her gaze froze.

Through her disheveled hair, she saw Scarface Liu, hanging in mid-air by rusty iron chains, his face almost half-shattered, not far away.

The woman froze instantly, even her struggling movements halting for half a second.

Then, as if she had gone completely mad, she struggled to arch half her body off the frozen ground and desperately crawled toward Scarface Liu.

Tears mixed with blood smeared her face beyond recognition. She desperately screamed at the man, whose flesh was mangled beyond recognition.

"Ah! Ahhh—"

The sound was like the wailing of a blood-soaked crow, shrill and piercing, echoing over the deathly silent junkyard.

Scarface Liu's previously tough expression finally cracked at this moment.

He stared intently at the woman on the ground, who was struggling frantically like a maggot, his eyes bloodshot as if they were about to burst.

The rusty iron chains rattled loudly as he pulled them, the sound trembling uncontrollably.

Why isn't she saying anything?

Wang Biao, with a cigar between his fingers, slowly exhaled a thick plume of smoke, looking down at the woman on the ground.

"You can't blame me for this."

He casually tossed the woman's disheveled hair with the gleaming tip of his leather shoe: "She was already like this when Ma Hou handed her over to me."

Wang Biao grinned, revealing a set of teeth stained yellow from smoking.

"Ma Hou said that this woman talked too much on the road, crying and whining, which was annoying. He thought it was unsafe, so he gave her some drugs, which made her lose her voice. Her life is ruined."

……

(I almost couldn't hold back my tears while writing this today.)

I originally just wanted to make the villain a little evil, but the more I wrote, the less human he became, and it even made me angry.
