After Harrison and his party left, Swamp Manor became Leo's territory.

Leo leisurely ate his breakfast. The supplies he brought were plentiful, so the breakfast was very lavish, including white bread, bacon, minced meat milk tea, jam, salad, and fried rice. Mrs. Abby, the cook, had truly used all her culinary skills.

"Leo, congratulations!"

Franken entered with a smile: "Now, you're the one who calls the shots on this territory."

"Has the teacher had breakfast yet?" Leo smiled.

"I've already eaten, but another serving of bacon wouldn't be out of the question," Franken chuckled.

Leo then instructed, "Mr. Dirk, have the kitchen prepare another serving of bacon for Chef Franken."

Bacon is smoked meat.

The bacon Leo brought from the family castle was all top-quality tenderloin, and Franken ate it with gusto. Even a tutor like him didn't get to eat meat every meal; bread and jam were his daily staple.

They ate and drank their fill.

Thomas, the manservant, brought over two cups of tea.

Franken looked Leo up and down, then suddenly exclaimed in surprise, "Leo, I hadn't noticed before, but you look much better!"

"Yes, my injuries have mostly healed."

"Holy Light's protection, how could it be so fast?"

Leo said easily, "It was indeed the Holy Light's protection. I prayed to the Holy Light last night, and it answered me."

"Huh?" Franken asked, puzzled. "What do you mean?"

"They gave me a spirit insect, and I happen to be able to form a contract with spirit insects, which means I still have some affinity for holy light elements." Leo didn't hide anything; he was going to start practicing holy light magic next.

Franken was stunned: "What did you say? A spirit insect? You've made a contract with a spirit insect?"

"Yes."

"My God, Holy Light, is this real?!" Franken gestured wildly with his hands. "Leo, the elven worms you mentioned, are they the kind I understand, the kind that can help novice priests advance in rank?"

"Are there any other spirit insects besides these?"

Soon, Leo had Butler Dirk bring the jade box from the master bedroom and showed it to Frankenstein, showing him the elf insect Maokai.

The little guy sleeps all day long, and when he's bored, he nibbles on some jade powder to beautify himself.

"May the Holy Light protect us!" Franken calmed down, but his heart was filled with envy. "How wonderful, the Holy Light favors the Glowing Mushroom family!"

He was also a trainee pastor.

He dreamed of contracting a spirit insect, then advancing to the rank of a formal 1st-level priest, and becoming a superior being.

Unfortunately, I wasn't lucky enough to encounter the Fairy Bug.

Furthermore, any spirit insects discovered on the territory are theoretically the property of the lord, and ordinary people are not allowed to make contracts with them at will.

Ordinary people are only qualified to form contracts with spirit insects bestowed by lords.

Seeing Franken's envy, Leo smiled slightly: "This is just the beginning, Teacher Franken. You will harvest more spirit insects in the future. When that happens, I will give you a spirit insect contract to help you advance."

Franken immediately stood up dramatically and bowed deeply: "May the Holy Light forever bless Lord Leo!"

Leo accepted it calmly.

After breakfast, he prepared to ask Franken for advice on how to cast Holy Light, as it was the only spell an apprentice priest could cast.

"Meditate on the elements of Holy Light, accumulate the elements of Holy Light, then gather them in your hands, and then release them. That is the complete Holy Light spell," Franken explained. The Holy Light spell is the simplest spell.

Seeing that Leo was about to try, he quickly stopped him: "No, Leo, Holy Light takes a lot of strain on the body. What's important for you right now is to recover, not to rush into casting Holy Light."

"Okay," Leo readily agreed.

Health is the foundation of everything, and it really needs to be taken good care of. After losing his sight in a car accident in his previous life, his biggest realization was how important health is.

Cannot cast spells.

The knight training course will also be postponed.

Leo simply said, "Professor Franken, call for Knight Commander Pluto, let's go inspect the manor."

"As you wish," Frankenstein replied.

A moment later, Pluto arrived with four guard knights who had been training in the open space of the manor.

"My lord." The knights were another form of address, because they were all Leo's followers—involuntary followers, or more accurately, followers of the Baron, who had simply handed them over to Leo.

Franken immediately said, "Prepare the horses for the master and inspect the estate."

Leo brought ten warhorses from his family's castle, including four ordinary warhorses and six shimmering warhorses.

The knights rode warhorses of light and shadow.

Leo's mount was also a magnificent warhorse of light and shadow: "Lord Pluto, are you grooming this warhorse of light and shadow for me?"

"Yes, sir," Bruto replied succinctly.

Thank you.

"You're too kind, sir." Pluto's attitude was impeccable, but his expression and tone were somewhat listless.

The knights surrounded Leo as he rode.

Franken rode an ordinary warhorse and was not qualified to ride the Shadow Warhorse. The reason was simple: he did not possess Holy Light Battle Qi and could not groom the Shadow Warhorse's body. "I really envy the knights who can ride Shadow Warhorses."

"Taking care of the Light and Shadow Warhorse every day is tiring too," came Oden, a 1st-tier knight and part-time apprentice priest, in response.

They also have the potential to become a Knight of Light.

The Light and Shadow Warhorses are not a specific breed of warhorse; they are all ordinary warhorses bred by feeding them Light Plant food and adding a small amount of Shadow Stone powder, which allows the warhorses to accumulate Holy Light and Shadow Power within their bodies.

The knights then used their holy light and battle aura to groom their warhorses, preventing them from being corrupted by the power of holy light and shadow.

Thus, a warhorse of light and shadow was born.

The holy light and shadow power within the body can effectively resist the invasion of shadow monsters, preventing one from being scared to death by them in a single encounter.

The knights arrived at the serfs' quarters in the blink of an eye.

Centered around the castle, there are scattered residential areas in all four directions, surrounded by large farmlands planted with sparse, sparse plants.

"Woof woof!" A dog is barking.

He was quickly stopped by the serfs, and then stood on the edge of the field, watching for the arrival of Leo and his party of knights.

Franken called out, "Lord of the Swamp Manor, Lord Knight Leo Glowfungus, has come to inspect the area!"

The bewildered serfs quickly spotted Leo, surrounded by a group of people, in the knightly procession.

They all knelt on the ground and kowtowed, saying, "Greetings, Lord."

"Ahem," Franken called out again, "You may call the lord Young Master Leo. He resides in the Glowing Fungus Castle."

The serfs immediately understood.

Since their new lord was the son of the Baron, they all changed their address to, "Greetings, Young Master Leo!"

"May the Holy Light protect Young Master Leo!"

"May the Holy Light forever bless the Glowing Mushroom family!"

In the Firefly Wilderness, the glowing mushroom family reigns supreme, and praising the glowing mushroom family is politically correct.

Leo was on horseback, the dim light unable to illuminate his face, but his eyes shone brightly.

He gently raised his hand: "Rise, my people."
