I'm a professional villain actor; my fans are begging me not to kill them.

On the second take, according to the plot, Zhang Ziqian should have been able to fight back. He managed to hit Zhou Guangming a few times while being surrounded by his men. Seeing that he was no match for Zhou Guangming, Zhang Ziqian ordered his men to chase after and kill the civilians, and only then did Zhou Guangming leave.

It was the same fight scene as before, but this time Fu Ziang had learned his lesson. Before Bai Ye could even land a blow, Fu Ziang screamed and retreated swiftly.

The two exchanged blows, and every time Bai Ye touched him, he would let out a muffled groan, looking as if he was enduring great pain.

Zhang Ziqian chuckled sinisterly, "Want to be a hero? Fine, Liu Er, go kill all those who just ran away and bring Erduo back to me."

"You beast!" Zhou Guangming roared in fury, killing three people in quick succession before finally escaping. "You bastard, I will kill you!"

"Okay, I'll be waiting for you." Zhang Ziqian laughed wildly.

"Click!"

That's the end of this scene. This is the only scene between Bai Ye and Fu Ziang in the early part of the movie.

As soon as Fu Ziang stepped off the stage, fans surrounded him.

Some were laughing, some were crying, they were like they were possessed.

"Zi'ang, are you alright?"

"You acted so well, I loved it."

"Are you in pain?" a fan asked, tears welling in their eyes.

Fu Ziang rubbed his chest, trying to appear strong. "It doesn't hurt. It's like this during normal filming."

Fans surrounded Fu Ziang as he left, each one heartbroken for him.

Offstage, someone quietly asked Bai Ye, "Did you go all out?"

Bai Ye's lips twitched. "You could say I barely touched him."

"Then you're in trouble." Ren said with a look of sympathy.

These days, even a minor scrape on a celebrity's hand can prompt an immediate call for an ambulance. But if Bai Ye were to stand up for something like this, they would accuse him of murder.

Sure enough, after Bai Ye finished his performance and was still learning a mini version of the "Black Dragon Eighteen Hands" from Ren He, the online news started to buzz.

Just like everyone else, they started by praising Fu Zi'ang.

#Fu Ziang's Heart in Chaotic Times#

During a single set visit, three trending topics praised Fu Ziang, from his acting skills to his action scenes to his character, showering him with compliments. There was also a side topic praising the production team, which is standard practice.

Besides praising Fu Ziang, even his fans praised him, saying they brought lots of gifts when they visited the set, making the whole crew feel very fortunate. According to what's said online, everyone on the crew should thank Fu Ziang.

You could say that's true; people are beholden to those who give them money and food. For the regular staff on the film crew, they don't have to do anything, and they get good food and small gifts, which is indeed quite nice.

But as the online discussions progressed, it became a situation where they felt obligated to be grateful to Fu Ziang, and anyone who treated him badly was an ingrate, which was unsettling no matter how you looked at it.

While teaching Bai Ye, Ren said on Douyin, "Bro, I feel like you're in trouble. You'll probably be trending on social media in a little while."

"Is it because I hit him?" Bai Ye knew perfectly well what was going on.

"Or did you think Fu Ziang opened his chest to show off his sunken pectoral muscles?"

The two practiced the "Black Dragon Eighteen Hands" for a while, then found a place to eat and chat.

"Brother Ren seems to know this kind of trick very well." After the two became familiar with each other, Bai Ye started calling him "Brother Ren".

He lit a cigarette and said, "I've been through this before. Once, when I was playing a villain, I kicked Yang Ting. Later, they did the same thing, but back then the internet wasn't as developed, so the impact wasn't as big."

"So, does that mean I'm okay too?"

"Heh, they say it won't have a big impact, but I haven't received any acting offers for almost a year." He looked at Bai Ye with a mocking expression. "Are you ready?"

Bai Ye was shocked: "A year?"

"A year is considered a short time; there have been cases of people being forced to leave the entertainment industry due to cyberbullying."

Bai Ye was getting anxious. If he couldn't film for a year, it would be a fatal blow to him, and he might very well have to retire from the entertainment industry.

"Is there any way?"

He took out a cigarette and gestured towards Bai Ye with his mouth.

Bai Ye understood immediately and took out a lighter to light it for him.

"This is not a good problem to solve."

Bai Ye knew immediately that it was difficult to resolve, but not impossible. "If Brother Ren can help, I will do anything you need, even go through fire and water."

After taking a drag of his cigarette, he said, "There wasn't much of a solution before; we could only suffer. The gap between you and Fu Ziang is too great. Whatever he says goes. But now there are other ways, so it's almost a way to salvage the situation."

Bai Ye asked impatiently, "What method?"

However, Ren kept everyone in suspense, saying, "Watch the show first, and I'll teach you how to do it later."

Bai Ye suppressed his inner turmoil and checked his phone every now and then.

The online sentiment shifted quickly; just moments ago, people were praising Fu Ziang's fans for being so considerate, but soon the focus shifted to Bai Ye.

#Fans' kind gift was carelessly discarded#

The first picture shows Fu Ziang's fans giving gifts to the crew members, who are all overjoyed. However, when it comes to Bai Ye, his expression is not happy, but rather strange. The next picture shows the gift bag lying crookedly in a corner.

Bai Ye was shocked. "This works?"

Good heavens, he simply put the gift bag away, and some people have interpreted it as him casually throwing it away—that's utterly absurd.

"Now you see, right? This is called taking things out of context."

He was present when fans gave him gifts, and he knew exactly what happened.

At this point, public opinion had begun to turn against Bai Ye.

"Damn, what kind of person is he! I kindly gave him a small gift, and instead of thanking me, he just threw it around everywhere."

"This is so disheartening."

"Isn't that Lin Dong? He doesn't look like a good person at all."

"Ungrateful wretch!"

"Don't send him anything next time, what kind of stuff is that?!"

"Not very famous, but quite arrogant."

"Pah! Everyone here bears responsibility for this kind of person becoming famous!"

The online bullying against Bai Ye began, with unsuspecting netizens joining in, but at most they only made a few complaints. After all, there are plenty of people who throw away gifts from fans, let alone gifts that weren't even specially prepared for him by his fans.

This has some impact on Bai Ye, but not a significant one; at most, it just means fewer people will be his fans.

So this is just the first step.

Soon, another trending topic appeared.

#Ingratitude Leads to Fu Ziang's Beating#

Around 8 or 9 pm, when people have nothing to do after dinner, they scroll through Douyin (TikTok) and come across this explosive news.

The ingratitude was shocking enough, but the fact that Fu Zi'ang was involved is something I have to join in on.

In the video, Bai Ye, his face full of murderous intent, rams hard into Fu Ziang's chest. Fu Ziang screams in pain. Then, Fu Ziang lifts his shirt, revealing his reddened chest, and passionately declares that it's normal to get injured while filming, that he's a professional actor and is used to it.

He's used to it; the fans are going crazy.

"Is this an attempt to kill someone?"

"On the surface, it's all an act, but isn't this person actually trying to kill?"

"Have you guys noticed? This is Lin Dong, the one who tossed the fans' gifts aside!"

"Girls, I told you he was an ingrate, it must be because of jealousy."

"Look at the way he looks at me, he clearly wants to kill me!"

"How could this person be so wicked!"

"Idiot!"

A strange wind has risen.
