Qin's Moon: I'm really not the Holy Lord of the Demonic Sect

When Madam Hu returned to the Left Sima's residence, it was already close to dusk.

Liu Yi staggered out of the main hall, supported by two maids, and walked unsteadily toward the backyard. He kept muttering, "Ache, let's stop drinking here for today. In a few days, I'll take you to a nice place where drinking will be much more fun."

"Uncle, please rest first. We'll talk again tomorrow." Yang Che dared not say "you've had too much to drink" at this moment. Saying such a thing to a drunkard would be a battle cry, and he didn't want to drink with a drunkard.

"Is Archer in such a hurry? Tomorrow it is." Liu Yi mumbled indistinctly, a bright little face involuntarily appearing in his mind. A fleeting glimpse was enough to make him unforgettable. If he hadn't fallen in love with his wife at first sight, he might have been tempted by such a beauty as well.

"Aunt, thank you for taking good care of Uncle tonight." Yang Che did not respond to Liu Yi again, but bowed to Madam Hu who had returned.

He could sense that Madam Hu didn't treat her 'nephew' very well, but he didn't find it strange. After all, Liu Yi was a scoundrel.

"There are plenty of people in the manor to take care of him," Madam Hu replied coldly, without taking any action to help Liu Yi.

"Then I'll take my leave now, and I hope you'll get some rest, Auntie," Yang Che said, turning and walking along the corridor under the eaves of the central hall towards the courtyard on the east side.

Madam Hu was somewhat surprised to see Yang Che leave so decisively. She had previously worried that Yang Che might take advantage of Liu Yi's drunkenness to do something inappropriate.

Could it be that I'm overthinking things? Has the Jixia Academy really taught him well? Madam Hu wondered. If Yang Che could truly repent and change his ways, it would be a good thing for her, saving her a lot of trouble.

"Madam, you're back." Only then did Liu Yi notice that his wife had returned, and he quickly fawned over her.

"Take him downstairs to wash up quickly, he reeks of alcohol." Madam Hu stepped aside to let Liu Yi, who was lunging at her, out of disgust.

"You, do you hate me that much?" Liu Yi said angrily upon hearing this.

The only response to Liu Yi's questioning was Madam Hu's silence, and the silence itself was an answer.

Liu Yi got even angrier: "Why are you wearing that deadpan face? Did your husband die? I'm still alive and well."

The servants standing nearby wished they were deaf, for what would happen if they had heard something deadly?

Is it too late for us to leave now? They were desperate.

Unfortunately, Liu Yi was unaware of the servant's despair. Madam Hu remained unmoved, which only fueled Liu Yi's anger: "Uh, I forgot, you really did lose a man, lost a man... hehe..."

Madam Hu's expression finally changed, and she angrily said, "Liu Yi, what exactly are you trying to do?"

Liu Yi was drunk and acted crazy, but she didn't care and was too lazy to pay attention to him. However, Liu Yi's words were like knives stabbing into her heart. Angry words can't hurt people, but truth is different, because Madam Hu really had lost a man, the man she cared about most in her life.

"Hey, you're angry? You actually know how to get angry? I thought I married a puppet." Liu Yi, who was still burning with anger just moments before, laughed.

"What exactly are you trying to do?" Madam Hu questioned, Liu Yi's words touching on the memories she least wanted to recall.

"What am I supposed to do? That's what I should be asking you. What are you trying to do? What are you trying to do with that deadpan expression? I can tolerate you treating me like this all the time, but today, as Che'er returns from his studies abroad, is this how you act as his aunt?"

"Ah!" Liu Yi raised her voice as she spoke, "Is this how you act as an aunt? It's one thing to go to the theater to listen to music, but when you come back, you still have that deadpan face on your face for A-Che to see."

"What, is Archer's return getting in your way? Are you trying to force Archer out?"

Liu Yi poured out his heart, revealing that he had been harboring a lot of resentment due to Madam Hu's cold treatment. Today, Madam Hu's indifference was just the trigger.

"You're drunk today, I won't argue with you." Mrs. Hu took a deep breath, but her chest heaved violently, and she couldn't calm it down, so she could only choose to avoid the situation.

"Stop right there!" Liu Yi staggered after her, but Madam Hu never listened to him.

Madam Hu was weak-willed and timid. She might be afraid of many people and many things, but she was not afraid of Liu Yi, even though Liu Yi was cruel and had a rough appearance.

As for the reason, it's probably because they feel they have nothing to fear.

Those who are loved are fearless.

Yang Che was unaware that Liu Yi and Madam Hu had quarreled again because of him. After returning to the east courtyard, he went straight up to the attic.

He was indeed quite tired after traveling all that way, but compared to resting, he had something more important to do.

After removing his robes, Yang Che lay back on the bed, casually pulled over a fur coat to cover his lower body, and then sank his consciousness into a void deep within his soul.

There, a jade tablet floated.

The jade plaque is black and crystal clear. The front is inscribed with the three characters "Tianmo Ce" written in oracle bone script, while a line of small characters appears on the back: "As the master of Tianmo Ce and the holy master of the Demonic Sect, yet the name of the Demonic Sect is unknown in this world. You should re-establish the two sects and six paths of the Demonic Sect and let the light of the Demonic Sect shine on the world once more."

Below this line of smaller print is a series of tasks.

Main Quest 1: Rebuild the Heaven-Mending Pavilion, progress 1%, quest reward: Heaven-Mending Dao.

Main Quest 0: Rebuild the Yin Gui Sect, progress 2%, quest reward: Heavenly Demon Great Art 1-6 levels.

Main Quest 4: Rebuilding the Flower Faction: Progress 20%, Quest Completion Reward: Flower Tour.

Main Quest 5: Rebuilding the Demonic Image Sect: Progress 0%, Quest Completion Reward: Demonic Image Manual.

The Two Sects and Six Paths are demonic sects from another time and space. In that world, martial arts flourished, and there were countless innate masters. Only grandmasters could become heroes, and even great grandmasters were not uncommon. There were even beings who could shatter the void.

It is precisely because of this that in that world, the power of the martial arts world was so great that it could even influence the rise and fall of dynasties.

The Heavenly Demon Strategy was the source of the martial arts of the demonic sect in that world.

Yang Che looked at the Heavenly Demon Strategy jade tablet and the eight tasks behind it, his brows furrowed in worry. The progress of seven of the eight tasks was 0%. What should he do?

Establishing a sect is no easy task; martial arts, manpower, and money are all indispensable.

Yang Che once tried to establish a sect. It's not as simple as just writing a plaque and hanging it at the entrance. If it were that easy, he could rebuild the two sects and six paths of the Demonic Sect in no time.

The jade token has its own criteria for judging the completion of tasks, which involves the sect's hard power and soft power. Hard power includes manpower, financial resources, etc., while the core standard of soft power is reputation.

"It's so difficult, so difficult! At least give me some start-up capital. In my current situation, I have to eat and sleep at other people's houses. How can I possibly build a sect with both soft and hard power?" Yang Che sighed, feeling as if his cheat ability was as good as non-existent.

"But what's with the 1% progress of the Heaven-Mending Pavilion? The Heaven-Mending Pavilion is a profession of wandering knights and assassins passed down in the six paths of the Demonic Sect. Am I some kind of assassin?" Yang Che looked at the first task with a puzzled expression. It was an absurd task, but it was the only one that had any progress.

"The reconstruction of the Flower School has reached 20% completion, which is not bad. The Flower School is an anomaly in the Demonic Sect. It emphasizes entering the Dao through art and is the artist of the Demonic Sect. The reason why its completion rate is 20% may be related to my attainments in music, chess, calligraphy and painting. My attainments in music, chess, calligraphy and painting are the soft power of re-establishing the Flower School."

"Given the current situation, it seems that only the task of rebuilding the Flower School has some hope. So, should my first step be to make a name for myself in Xinzheng through the arts of music, chess, calligraphy, and painting? Once my fame reaches a certain level, I can naturally establish the Flower School." Yang Che pondered, and his future seemed to have some hope.
