Xiu Gou's Taming Record
Chapter 201 Ordinary Days
Yu Heng's hand was still on Qin Lu's waist, stroking it intermittently.
My skin was warm, slightly damp from the sweat I had just produced.
Qin Lu lay on her side, her face buried in the crook of his shoulder. After her breathing calmed down, she suddenly spoke softly, "I'm going to divorce Lin Liyan."
Yu Heng paused, his fingers moving slightly. "He agreed to leave with nothing?"
"Hmm." Qin Lu's voice was muffled. "Actually, it doesn't really matter whether he agrees or not. He doesn't have any premarital property, and the little money he has at home... has been almost gone in the last two years."
Yu Heng didn't speak, but slid his hand from her waist to her back, slowly stroking down her spine.
Qin Lu felt comfortable as he stroked her and let out a soft hum.
"It's better to be divorced," Yu Heng said, "It'll save you a lot of trouble."
Qin Lu was silent for a few seconds, then leaned closer to him: "You said you wanted to get revenge on him before, but now that you think about it, forget it."
Yu Heng looked down at her.
Qin Lu raised her eyes, her eyelashes trembling in the dim light: "There's no need to waste any more energy on him. Right now... having you is enough for me."
"Okay," he replied. "I understand."
The room fell silent again. Qin Lu's fingers unconsciously traced circles on his chest. After a while, she sighed again.
"My biggest worry right now is Xiaoya." Her voice lowered. "This child... what will become of her?"
Yu Heng's hand stopped on her lower back: "Let her broadcast for a while longer, calm her down, and let her go back to school in September."
Qin Lu was taken aback, then propped herself up slightly to look at him: "Go to school? Would she still want to go?"
"She definitely needs to go to school." Yu Heng said calmly. "In today's society, a junior high school education isn't enough. She's still so young; she has a long road ahead of her."
He spoke as if it were the most natural thing in the world, and Qin Lu, listening to him, suddenly felt a little more at ease.
It seems that with him around, these worries always have a direction.
Although this man is not old, he has the bearing of a man.
"But her temper..." Qin Lu was still worried. "The teachers at school can't control her."
"Then she can't live on campus," Yu Heng said. "I'll take care of her normally."
Qin Lu thought about it carefully and realized that this was indeed a good idea; the girl was really afraid of Yu Heng.
"What about the live stream?" she asked.
"Just broadcast it if you want, treat it as a hobby." Yu Heng twirled a strand of her hair with his finger. "It's better than being cooped up in the house all day."
Qin Lu hummed in agreement and nestled back against his chest.
"I'll talk to Xiaoya about it," Yu Heng said while massaging her. "You don't need to worry."
"Hmm..." Qin Lu responded vaguely, her attention entirely on his hands.
"Anyway, the student's registration is still valid," Yu Heng continued, "If public schools don't work out, we'll look for private ones."
Qin Lu felt a little dizzy and could only nod, "Okay..."
"Go to sleep," he said. "You have work tomorrow."
Qin Lu was stunned. That's it?
Her body was still burning with fever, but Yu Heng had already turned over and lay flat on his back, closing his eyes.

Life began to move smoothly and regularly.
Douyin guilds are steadily expanding, the selection process for new streamers is becoming increasingly mature, high-quality streamers are being continuously absorbed and nurtured, and the overall revenue curve is steadily climbing upwards.
The "Soul Pawnshop" account has also started to produce content steadily, with each video receiving very good data feedback, and they have begun to approach some small commercial orders.
Several new products designed by Bai Xinran have entered the production stage. The "Yueji" brand has also gained some recognition among specific groups of people, and the number of followers of the Little Bluebird account is slowly but steadily increasing.
Yu Heng also devoted most of his energy to these specific matters. However, no matter how busy he was, he would always have free time on weekends to allocate to the women who did not live in the villa.
Every two or three weeks, Yu Heng would drive back to Ancheng.
Sometimes he would just go home for a meal, see his little nephew, chat with his mother Liu Jianfen, and then "incidentally" bring over some things that Zhou Wanyi needed.
Zhou Wanyi seemed to have gotten used to this rhythm and was no longer as panicked as she had been at the beginning.
The occasional glances exchanged, or the brief touch when handing something over, all carried a tacit understanding between them.
Perhaps, it will happen soon.
Sundays are usually reserved for Qin Lu and Qin Ya.
Qin Ya's school reopening procedures are progressing, and Yu Heng sometimes takes her to bookstores to buy study materials and to arcades to relax as a "reward".
Although Qin Ya still complained, she was noticeably more obedient, especially in front of Yu Heng.
She would secretly observe the interaction between Yu Heng and her mother. The hostility in her eyes had disappeared, replaced by a sense of dependence.
Qin Lu's divorce proceedings are underway, and she seems much more relaxed, with the melancholy between her brows dissipating considerably.
She would chat with Yu Heng about trivial matters at work, about Qin Ya's changes, and occasionally talk about some vague ideas about the future.
Their intimacy became more natural, less intense in breaking taboos and more filled with everyday affection.
As for Lin Yu, her work continues as usual.
Filming once a week, without fail.
Yu Heng paid her a high salary, and she also fulfilled her duties as a model.
She eventually signed the agency contract, but requested that some supplementary clauses be added to clarify the rights and obligations of both parties, especially the protection of her "private time" and "contact limits".
Yu Heng readily agreed. Thus, their relationship settled into a strange yet balanced state.
At work, she was a calm, even somewhat numb, model, while he was a picky but professional photographer.
During breaks, he would be an observer who posed various philosophical questions and pointed remarks about life, while she would sometimes disagree, sometimes ponder, and sometimes refute.
She continued to receive the money and maintain the cooperation, but she held onto that line with extraordinary difficulty, yet with extraordinary determination.
Yu Heng wasn't in a hurry. He enjoyed this back-and-forth, observing her every subtle wavering and firmness.
The days just flowed by uneventfully.
Final exams are just around the corner.
