Chapter 134 The Curtain Falls

Chapter 136 The Curtain Falls

"Bird house, rope, thread," Felix repeated.

He suddenly discovered a trait of Ravenclaw: she really, really loved to inspire others—whether or not the person wanted to be inspired by her.

"Mother, can't you just be more direct?" Helena said from the side.

Ms. Ravenclaw glanced at her and reluctantly revealed the answer: "Don't force memories into anything; you need to shape them."

Felix seemed to have thought of something, but it was still just a blur, indistinct and unclear.

"Memory shaping, or rather, solidifying the structure of memory."

The Swift in Ravenclaw's hand transformed into a cloud of silver mist, which then reformed into a proud eagle, its body covered with countless tiny points of light.

The eagle landed on the ground, its gaze full of power.

"What are these?" Felix's breath seemed to stop. He immediately activated his accelerated thinking, desperately trying to remember the structure of these light spots.

Ravenclaw said calmly, "Soul nodes? Memory nodes? Whatever, I've just discovered some structures that stabilize memories."

"So, you are also..." constructed in this way?

"Yes, I am just a memory of 'Royna Ravenclaw,' not a real person, not a ghost, not even a life, but only my emotions are real."

"As for transferring consciousness, you can refer to contract magic," she said quickly.

Felix could only take note, and then he asked one last question: "Madam, I'd like to know, to what extent did the four founders push magic?"

Ravenclaw gave him an approving look: "Talking too much will only confuse you. What I can tell you is that we ourselves are magical beings."

She glanced at the crown, which was being constantly washed away by immense magical power, and large amounts of black energy were being pulverized.

"It's almost time," Mrs. Ravenclaw said softly, her figure slowly fading away, but she still looked at Helena tenderly.

Helena's radiance grew brighter and more sacred, and a joy emanating from her heart spread throughout her.

The temporary body constructed of magic has disappeared, and she has returned to her ghost form.

"May I hug you again?" she asked.

Ms. Ravenclaw opened her arms, and two somewhat ethereal figures pressed together, only separating after a long time.

Within the magical vortex, a blurry face burst forth from the crown, only to shatter silently in an instant.

Lady Ravenclaw grabbed the crown—it was washed clean and looked brand new, gleaming brightly.

"I will rebuild the crown as your reward," she told Felix.

"Ms. Ravenclaw, you don't have to..." he hesitated.

"It's not as sophisticated as you imagine; what can be bestowed upon it is not wisdom," said Mrs. Ravenclaw, her figure fading as her crown grew brighter.

She turned her head and looked at Helena.

"It's a pity I can't accompany you any longer," said Ms. Ravenclaw. She is just a memory, and today she has completed her mission and must also fade away.

Helena said with a smile, "I have the courage to keep going."

Ms. Ravenclaw stared at her, and after three minutes, maybe five minutes, or ten minutes, she finally disappeared.

Clang!

The crown fell to the ground and rolled twice.

"Take it, it's yours," Helena said.

Helena's radiance grew brighter and brighter, and the restrictions that Lady Ravenclaw had placed on her had disappeared.

Felix didn't even glance at the crown. He looked at Helena and said with some difficulty, "I'm going to lose another friend today."

She floated in front of him, her palm trying to touch his cheek, but her fingers slipped through.

"It seems you've also had sad experiences."

Felix was silent for a moment. "Let's go out." He held out his palm, and the crown and diary flew over, which he then put into his ring.

The two walked out of the Room of Requirement, and the light emanating from her quickly spread, illuminating the entire eighth-floor corridor with its soft glow.

"It might be too late. I still have something to say to someone," Helena said.

"Do you need any help?" Felix asked, knowing who she was referring to as "the person".

"Of course," she said with a smile. "We're friends, aren't we?"

Felix's wand made a loud bang, the window in front of him suddenly disappeared, and he leaped out of the eighth-floor window with Helena in his arms, then landed lightly in the courtyard.

The next moment, Felix's voice resounded throughout the castle—

"Barrow, come to the courtyard, Helena has something to say to you."

The young wizards in the castle all looked up, startled by the loud noise.

What happened?

"Let's go take a look," Harry said to Ron and Hermione, and the three of them started running.

Other curious young wizards also did similar things.

It's the weekend, and everyone is quite free.

They all ran towards the courtyard without prior arrangement.

But Dumbledore was the fastest. He appeared abruptly in front of Felix and Helena, looking somewhat puzzled. But when he saw the pure white light emanating from Helena, his deep blue eyes widened in surprise.

He looked at Felix, who nodded slightly.

A dozen seconds later, a silver shadow passed through the walls and appeared in the courtyard.

It is the Blood Man Barrow.

He was still as frightening as ever, covered in silver bloodstains and carrying a massive shackle. But his expression now held an unprecedented tension and fear.

Looking at Helena bathed in light, Barrow, the Blood Man, opened and closed his mouth, stammering, "Congratulations, Helena."

One by one, the young wizards, the professors, and the ghosts arrived from afar. When they saw this scene in the courtyard, they stopped in their tracks.

The young wizards were somewhat confused, but the professor and the ghosts, being more experienced, clearly understood Helena's condition.

Nick, who had almost lost his head, covered his mouth emotionally, "Oh my God."

The other ghosts also stared nervously at the center of the courtyard.

"Sir Barrow, I am about to leave," Helena said. "Someone told me to learn to forgive myself... I pass that advice on to you."

"And what about you?" Barrow asked, his body trembling. "Will you forgive me?"

"I hated you, but I will try to forgive you, starting right now," Helena Ravenclaw said.

The light emanating from her body exploded, transforming into a long, white staircase phantom. Helena looked around with lingering affection, finally pausing for a moment on Felix before resolutely stepping onto the staircase.

She disappeared.

Felix was disappointed.

"Felix, thank you. I know she's talking about you," Barrow said, a pure white light emanating from him.

"I didn't do anything," Felix shook his head.

A commotion erupted from the distant ghosts. What day is it today? Two ghosts broke free of their restraints in succession!

Only those who knew about the thousand-year-old feud between these two ghosts couldn't help but feel a myriad of emotions.

Barrow did not resist the surging white light emanating from his body, and in a solemn atmosphere, his figure disappeared.

The young wizards stared blankly at the scene. They didn't know what had happened, but they did know that the ghosts of Ravenclaw and Slytherin had vanished forever on this day.
