A large crowd had already gathered in the plaza outside the Zero Dam teleportation portal.

When Han Che arrived, Mule and Wang Kuo were squatting in a corner of the square, checking the items in their backpacks.

"Brother Han." Mule looked up and greeted him, then continued to check the magazine.

Wang Kuo then called out "Brother," clutching a small red medical kit in his hand and stuffing it into the ammunition pouch.

Han Che nodded and looked at their equipment. It was a three-headed, four-armored suit issued by the club, and each person had a Warrior submachine gun.

He then took out a Level 5 Iron Wall Helmet from his bag and put it on his head.

Mule glanced at it; he had seen him wear the helmet during the last prison raid.

The Level 5 protective gear is ridiculously tough on the front, but it's very heavy and has a narrow field of vision. The worst part is that you can barely hear anything around you when you're wearing it.

Generally, very few people use this type of helmet. Even though the prices are similar on the market, people prefer to use lower-grade hearing helmets.

After all, proactively gathering information is more effective than passively defending.

Wang Kuo, however, remained curious.

"Brother Han, this helmet..."

"What's wrong?"

"It's nothing, it's just..." Mule scratched his head, "This thing is pretty heavy, isn't it?"

"good."

"Is the visibility not very good?"

"Enough."

Then Wang Kuo stopped asking.

The square was getting more and more crowded, with people gathering in twos and threes. Today, there were six full teams at Dam Zero, totaling eighteen people.

Han Che noticed that Mule's condition was different from before. He repeatedly checked his belongings, including whether his armor was properly worn.

"What's wrong?" Han Che asked.

Mule pursed his lips, hesitated for a moment, and finally shook his head: "It's okay, Brother Han."

Before he could finish speaking, someone shouted from behind.

"Hey, isn't that a mule?"

Three men approached. The leader was bald, wearing level 4 protective gear and carrying a G3 rifle. Behind him were two henchmen, one tall and thin, and the other short and stocky.

The mule's expression changed, but he remained silent.

Wang Kuo moved closer to the mule and whispered, "Who is it?"

"It's alright," the mule said.

"Nothing wrong?" the bald man raised his voice. "If you hadn't interfered last time, that newbie's gear would have been ours long ago. You're going into the dam today too, right? What a coincidence, we're going in too."

The tall, thin man chimed in, "If we run into you inside, don't blame us for being impolite."

The three of them burst into unrestrained laughter.

The bald man walked up to the mule, looked it up and down, and then glanced at Wang Kuo.

Finally, their gaze fell upon Han Che. To be precise, it fell upon the iron wall above Han Che's head.

The tall, thin guy leaned over to look: "Iron Wall? Holy crap, someone actually buys this."

"Who's this? Your club's new hire?" the bald man grinned. "Why is he wearing that autistic hairstyle? Socially awkward?"

"It's heavy and clunky, your vision is barely a slit, and you can't even hear footsteps. What's the point of wearing it?" The bald man shook his head. "A newbie, huh? Thinks level 5 is better than level 4?"

"Don't you understand the concept of information priority? You can't see or hear anything, what good is a level 5 helmet? If you can't be hit by a single shot, you won't even know if someone flanks you."

"Exactly," the short, stocky man chimed in. "Only cowards buy these helmets, thinking they'll save their lives, but they're actually the dumbest."

The tall, thin man behind him chuckled, his voice carrying a hint of feminine beauty: "Ironclad Helmet, K-bro, level five, huh? Tough~"

"What's the use of being tough?" The bald man took two steps closer. "Hey! Buddy!" The bald man deliberately raised his voice and shouted loudly in front of Han Che, as if he was afraid that Han Che would not hear him.

"With this on, you won't even hear footsteps. You wouldn't even know if someone walked behind you. A level 4 helmet is enough; the key is to hear information, understand?"

Han Che looked at him through the small gap in the Iron Wall helmet, without saying a word.

The bald man took another step forward, almost touching Han Che: "Judging from your appearance, is this your first time entering the dam? Don't be afraid, if we run into each other later, your brother will escort you out."

Mule gripped the gun strap, his face grim. These were the three men with whom he had a previous grudge.

In a previous operation, Mule rescued a newbie who was entering the map for the first time from the three of them. They had detained the newbie, trying to extort some money from him, claiming it was protection money.

As a result, the mule threw two smoke bombs at him, took advantage of the chaos to take people away, and before leaving, told the newbies not to believe such things in dangerous areas.

They harbored resentment for failing to seduce their prey and longed for revenge, but never had the chance.

They finally caught them this time.

The bald man reached out to grab Han Che's helmet visor.

As soon as he raised his hand, Han Che raised his right hand and directly grabbed the bald man's outstretched fingers. Before the bald man could react, he twisted the fingers towards the back of his hand.

"ah--!"

The bald man screamed in agony as his body bent down in the direction his fingers were broken, his knees slamming into the ground.

The two people behind him were stunned for a moment before they realized they had to rush upwards.

Han Che didn't let go of his hand movements and kicked the tall, thin man in the chest, who immediately felt a tremendous force in his chest.

He was sent flying backwards, rolling twice on the ground before coming to a stop.

The short, stocky man's expression changed upon seeing this, and he immediately reached for the rifle in his hand.

"What are you doing!"

Two official security personnel at the edge of the plaza shouted and strode over from the side. One of them pointed a stun gun at the short, stocky man and said, "Drop your weapon! Weapons are prohibited for players in the portal plaza."

The other man pointed a stun gun at Han Che, saying, "Let go of him too!"

Han Che didn't move. He looked down at the bald man kneeling on the ground and shouted, "Put down the gun!" The bald man trembled as he yelled.

His bald face turned bright red, veins bulged on his forehead, his fingers were still clenched in Han Che's hand, and his whole body was trembling violently.

"Let go," the security guard called out again.

The short, stocky man put down his weapon, and only then did Han Che release his grip.

The bald man rolled to the side, clutching his arms, gasping for breath in pain. The tall, thin man and the short, stocky man helped him up, and the three of them took a few steps back.

"You fucking wait." The bald man gritted his teeth, tears welling in his eyes from the pain, but he didn't stop talking. "Don't let me run into you on the dam today, or I'll kill you."

The tall, thin man chimed in with a curse: "You think you're so great just because you're wearing an iron shield? You'll be the first one they'll be looking for when we go in."

"Get lost." Han Che's voice came from under his iron helmet. His voice was deep and muffled. The three men probably couldn't sense it, but the mule next to him felt the killing intent again.

The bald man was being led away, turning back to curse as he went. It was impossible to hear what he was saying, but judging from his lip movements, it wasn't anything nice.

The mule finally breathed a sigh of relief once the people had gone far away.

"Brother Han, thank you," he said, glancing at the retreating figures of the bald man and his gang. "That bald guy is called Old K. I saved a newbie in the dam before, and he was exactly the kind of guy they were going to kill. We didn't succeed, and the money was gone. They've held a grudge ever since."

Han Che hummed in agreement.

"Their club isn't as rich as ours, but they have a lot of people," Mule continued. "Old K holds grudges; he'll definitely come after us when he gets in."
