Han Che put his hands behind his back and walked towards the prison area. He wasn't in a hurry and was thinking the whole way.

What exactly is the reason?

Han Che carefully recalled his previous conversation with Raven. He had sent out several goodwill signals and maintained basic respect from the beginning, hoping to coexist peacefully.

The other party was cooperative in attitude, but unwilling to guarantee peace.

Why is there such a divisive behavior?

Shi Ding and Shi Lei followed behind him, holding shields with serious expressions. Da Yong was in the middle of the group; his heavy armor made his steps heavy, thumping loudly on the ground.

Behind them, three riflemen, Lin Feng, Lin Rui, and Lin Kun, followed closely with their rifles.

Before long, the group arrived at the entrance of the Raven's Cell.

Han Che stopped at the door. "You wait outside," he said to his guards.

Shi Ding was taken aback: "Your Excellency, Warden, you're going in alone?"

"Um."

"But……"

Han Che glanced back at him, and Shi Ding immediately shut up, took a step back, and stood by the door.

Shi Lei also retreated to the other side, and the two of them guarded the door from the left and right.

The riflemen behind him spread out, and Da Yong raised his machine gun, aimed it at the doorway, and held it firmly in place.

Han Che raised his hand and knocked on the door.

Dang dang dang.

Without waiting for a response from inside, Han Che pushed open the door and entered Raven's cell.

The raven sat in the chair with its head tilted back, wearing that wrinkled dress with the collar open.

Han Che went inside and closed the door.

Han Che walked up to Raven, sat on the edge of the bed, and faced Raven.

Raven then turned his head around. He was still wearing the half-mask, and his wooden expression changed when he saw the warden. He grinned, revealing a few teeth, and his eyes narrowed. He suddenly seemed like a completely different person.

"Yo," he said, his voice raspy, "The warden's back?"

Han Che looked at him, "I came to see you."

"Look at me?" The raven tilted its head. "What's so interesting about me?"

Han Che didn't reply, but stared at his face.

"What happened today?"

The raven blinked: "What? What's going on?"

"A riot," Han Che said. "While I was away from prison, a riot broke out and killed my men."

Raven's smile froze for a moment, then he laughed even more, leaned back in his chair, and crossed his legs.

"Oh, that." He reached for the enamel mug on the table and shook it. "I just wanted to get some fresh air. Being cooped up here all day is really stifling."

The raven continued, "I just went out for a stroll and played around with your men. Who knew they were so weak? They were down in no time."

He said this in a light, casual tone, as if he were talking about something very funny.

"Besides," he picked up his cup and took a sip of hot water, "they attacked first. Your men saw me and opened fire; I couldn't just stand there and take the hits, could I?"

"You're prisoners, shouldn't the prison guards have fired their guns?" Han Che laughed angrily. "I gave you a chance before, I said you should live in peace with us, why didn't you agree? Now you blame me for making you feel suffocated locked up, and the prison guards fired at you?"

Han Che felt he was wasting his breath; after all, a raven is a raven, just like the one in the game from his previous life.

There's no logic, no reason, it's all based on his own imagination!

Han Che clenched his fists, still suppressing his emotions.

"Even if you come out, why did you kill my personal guards? They wanted to reason with you!"

Raven scoffed. "Your Excellency Warden, do you really think they're going to reason with us?"

"What do you mean?" Han Che frowned, puzzled.

"My prisoners are planning to pass through the administrative district and head towards the elevator shaft..." At this point, the raven seemed to have found an outlet for its anger, and its tone became somewhat normal.

"But they were all stopped by your lovely personal guards, not one of them was spared!"

Han Che stared at the raven in confusion; how come he didn't know about this part of the plot?

"A dozen or so prisoners were all shot in the head one by one by your three sharpshooter bodyguards."

"Then I went there with four sledgehammers and a few prisoners, but your good men stopped us."

Raven propped itself up and moved closer to Han Che. "Someone's accepted a Black Tide mission, I need to go!"

"Your shieldman and machine gunner just won't let us have it!" Raven's tone grew increasingly frantic, and his eyes began to turn red.

"That machine gunner, not only is his armor impenetrable, but why is he protecting his head with his hands? How am I supposed to shoot him?"

"I'll send my four sledgehammers to fight him hand-to-hand! I'll face your 'Executive Deputy Warden' Shi Ding alone."

"You blame me for killing your prison guard, right?" Raven's voice was low and menacing. "Heh heh heh! That machine gunner took on four of my big hammer guys by himself!"

"I was standing by and couldn't help at all, and I almost got beaten to death by your Shi Ding! Which of you two is the boss?"

The raven laughed maniacally, its mouth stretched wide open.

Han Che sat on the bed in silence. He hadn't heard his subordinates report like that.

"I didn't fight Crossing the Raven, he's too strong!" Han Che recalled what Shi Ding had said.

Looking back now, if I was killed by the boss Raven at will, it shouldn't be said that I didn't fight Raven.

He recalled Shi Ding's appearance just now. Head down, saying it was all his fault, saying he hadn't killed the crow, saying he had harmed his brothers.

Shi Ding didn't tell him any of this, nor did he mention that he rushed in front of the raven.

Moreover, when Shi Ding mentioned Dayong, he said that he was surrounded... but he didn't say that Dayong single-handedly carried four hammers and killed two of them.

It doesn't even mention that three riflemen killed all the passing prisoners.

"Then why didn't you run away?" Han Che changed the subject.

"Escape? Where can I go?" the raven asked helplessly. "Should I go swimming outside? Or will someone come to meet me?"

"I rushed there to stop people from carrying out the Black Tide mission, but your people beat me half to death without any regard for reason."

"And you blame me for killing your prison guard!" Raven cursed angrily.

Han Che walked out of the cell in silence.

Outside the cell, Han Che came out, and Shi Ding and Dayong immediately came to greet him.

"Your Excellency, how is it?" Shi Ding asked.

Han Che didn't answer, but glanced at Shi Ding.

"You just told me you didn't hunt ravens."

Shi Ding lowered his head: "Yes, I..."

"You and he fought back and forth?" Han Che asked.

Shi Ding was taken aback, then looked up. "It wasn't exactly a back-and-forth fight. He's stronger than me. After a few rounds, I just couldn't keep going."

Han Che looked into his eyes: "Raven said it. You rush up to him while he's reloading and smash him with your shield."

Shi Ding opened his mouth, hummed in response, but didn't say anything.

"Da Yong carried four hammers all by himself." Han Che looked at Da Yong again.

Da Yong stood to the side, scratching his head: "He couldn't withstand it either, he was almost beaten to death."

Han Che looked at the two of them, remained silent for a few seconds, and then said, "You managed to kill two of them?"

"And you three," Han Che looked at the three Lin brothers, "did you kill all the prisoners who were passing by?"

The three brothers nodded.

"They went to stop the Black Tide operation," Han Che said with a stern face and a helpless expression.

"Next time you report, make sure you say everything..."

Shi Ding paused for a moment, then stood up straight: "Yes."
