Delta: Who are you saying has suffered a loss of strength?

Chapter 138 We've finally reached the BOSS's lair!

"Okay, let's leave it at that for now." Chen Xiaoxun grinned and stood up, leaning against the wall.

After Jiang Chi gave Chen Xiaoxun a first-aid kit, although he still felt uncomfortable, at least he could move around.

"Where is this?" Chen Xiaoxun recovered and straightened up, finally able to look around.

Jiang Chi shook his head: "I've never been here before." He stood up, took a few steps forward, and tried one of the doors in the room.

It can't be pushed; it's locked.

"This door won't open," he said, turning around. "Li Hao, is this the locked access room you mentioned?"

Li Hao shook his head, "There's no card reader on this door, so it shouldn't be."

Chen Xiaoxun finished bandaging himself and came over to try it out: "Maybe it's just decoration? Some maps like to do this, making it look like a room, but you can't actually go in."

"There aren't any supply depots here, unlike other parts of the prison," Jiang Chi muttered to himself.

There was a staircase leading down to the side of the room. Chen Xiaoxun glanced down, then pulled his head back.

"He has a slight limp."

Jiang Chi said, "We've never been here before. Since there's no immediate threat, let's explore this place briefly."

The three walked along the corridor, and not far ahead, they came to a double door that was ajar.

Jiang Chi paused at the doorway and listened intently. There was no sound.

He gently pushed open the door and glanced inside.

The room was quite large, with a row of bookshelves against the wall and a large table in the middle, on which sat a lamp and a folder.

The floor was carpeted, soft and plush to the touch. Vertical striped floor-to-ceiling windows faced the opposite side.

Jiang Chi turned around and gestured before walking inside, with Li Hao and Chen Xiaoxun following behind.

The three of them walked around the room.

Li Hao walked to the bookshelf, casually flipped through it, and found that all the folders were empty.

He opened the drawer, and inside were a few pens and two packaging bags, nothing of value.

Chen Xiaoxun walked to the wall and saw a sign hanging on it.

He leaned closer for a look.

"This sign?" Chen Xiaoxun pointed at the sign. "Captain! What's this symbol? It looks so familiar!"

Jiang Chi heard the call and rushed over. He saw a silver circle on the wall with a T-shaped drawing in the middle.

"This is... the warden's symbol?" Jiang Chi's pupils contracted as the image of the warden's white mask flashed through his mind.

Li Hao shuddered upon hearing this, dropping the pen he had taken from the drawer onto the floor.

Chen Xiaoxun, his mouth agape, took a step back, his gun raised.

The three of them stood there, frozen, not daring to breathe, listening quietly to the sounds around them, completely still.

Several seconds passed, and the office remained silent. Chen Xiaoxun asked in a low voice, "What did you say?"

"The decor of this room, the signs... Captain, this is probably the warden's office!" Li Hao whispered, analyzing.

Chen Xiaoxun's throat bobbed: "The warden's... office?"

Jiang Chi wiped the sweat from his brow with the back of his hand. It seemed that Li Hao's analysis was probably correct, but fortunately, there was no one here.

"Nobody's here," Jiang Chi's voice was a little weak. "At least for now, just like the intelligence reports, the warden isn't here."

"Holy crap, that scared me to death." Chen Xiaoxun breathed a sigh of relief.

Li Hao suddenly laughed and said, "Can we say we've reached the BOSS's lair now?"

Jiang Chi glared at him: "You can still laugh?"

"No," Li Hao said, "we've run all this way to the warden's office. Our club hasn't even explored this area yet, isn't that great?"

"Since he's not here, why don't we search his office and see if there's anything good!" Chen Xiaoxun suggested. "The warden is so powerful, there must be a lot of good stuff in his office!"

Seeing that there was no one around, Jiang Chi said, "Then let's hurry up and leave after we've searched."

A few minutes later, the three regrouped.

"One large insurance policy, one small insurance policy, and four small gold coins?" Jiang Chi looked at the supplies in the hands of the three people. "Not bad, not as plentiful as I imagined."

"I didn't expect the warden to be such an honest official," Chen Xiaoxun remarked.

"I'm alright, I have an M7 rifle in the weapons case."

"It wasn't a complete waste of time. That's about enough, let's go."

The three people exited the office through a small door on the other side, and the narrow corridor turned two corners.

"Wait a minute," he said, pointing to a door across the hallway, "What's that?"

The door was on the side of the corridor, and there was a sign with a yellow glow on the doorknob.

The three men walked over and looked closer. "The warden's collection room?"

The card reader can read the information.

Chen Xiaoxun reached out and touched the card reader: "This is the room that requires an access card?"

"Li Hao, can you open your card?" Jiang Chi asked.

"I don't know, but shall we give it a try?"

Li Hao rummaged through his bag for his access card and swiped it on the reader, but nothing happened. He swiped it again, but still nothing happened.

"No," he said. "It seems a specific card is needed to open it."

Chen Xiaoxun looked at the door with a hint of regret: "There must be something good inside."

"There's nothing we can do about it," Jiang Chi said. "Let's go, don't waste our time here."

The three continued walking

After walking a few steps, there was another staircase leading down at the end of the corridor.

There were no lights at the bottom of the stairs; it was pitch black.

"There's another path over there. Do you want to go down? There's a staircase leading down from that small room at the beginning."

Jiang Chi glanced at his watch: "It's still early, shall we go down and take a look?"

Chen Xiaoxun nodded: "Since we're already here..."

Jiang Chi turned on the flashlight on his gun and shone it ahead. The three of them slowly walked down the slope.

The staircase twisted and turned, as if going around several corners. It was not only dark but also filled with dolls, which startled the group.

Li Hao, on the other hand, felt a sense of familiarity.

"Where is this place? Why are there so many mannequins? It's creepy," Chen Xiaoxun asked in a low voice.

"I don't know," Jiang Chi replied. "The stairs leading up are just ahead!"

"Li Hao? What's wrong with you?" Jiang Chi turned around and saw Li Hao standing in front of a restraint frame, lost in thought.

"No..." Li Hao replied absentmindedly, still staring at the screen.

"What's wrong? Is there some treasure?" Jiang Chi leaned closer; there was nothing around the restraint frame. "Hurry up, let's get up there before the guards come."

"good……"

Before he could finish speaking, a tremendous roar swept through the entire prison.

The three, already on edge, instantly exploded, "What is this?!"

"I know!" Behind the roaring sound was the rushing of water. "This is Operation Kuroshio, a new change in the prison!"

"Is this the new map mission that Tiger Girl from the Phoenix Cry Club mentioned?" Li Hao had discussed it with his teammates before coming.

Li Hao nodded. "Let's go up first! According to Tiger Sister, the prisoners should be coming out soon!"

Jiang Chi, his expression serious, immediately gave the order, "Go! Up that staircase ahead! Go up!"

They went up the stairs and returned to the small room they had started in.

But the prison is completely different now. It's no longer as quiet as it used to be; there are footsteps and gunshots everywhere.

Whoosh... Clang! There were already prisoners outside the door firing in this direction.

"Captain! It seems we've been dragged into the very center of the battlefield!"
