The evening light shone through the gaps between the buildings to the west, casting long shadows of people and cars on the road.

The Dragon Club and Phoenix Club, two dark-colored vans were parked one after the other on the roadside not far away.

"Well then, Boss Xiaobai, we'll be leaving now. Please contact us if there are any changes." Manager Zhang stood by the car door, turning slightly to Xiaobai and bowing his head slightly.

Manager Wang, standing beside another car, nodded in this direction. "It's cold outside, everyone, go back quickly. See you the day after tomorrow."

"Okay, thank you for your hard work, take care on your journey." Xiao Bai waved to them from the steps downstairs at the club.

The two bread trucks closed their doors almost simultaneously, the vehicles shook slightly, and then drove away from the roadside one after the other.

Han Che stood a step behind Xiao Bai, watching the two cars turn the corner at the intersection and disappear at the end of the street before turning his gaze away.

The group turned around and walked back. When they pushed open the club door, the lobby was empty, a stark contrast to the bustling scene in the morning.

Several bottles of unfinished water and used pens were still on the conference room table, and the chair was askew.

Han Che walked to the chair in the middle of the hall, sat down, unbuttoned his coat, leaned back in the chair, and let out a long sigh.

I've been busy all day. Although I haven't done much work, seeing so many people coming and going makes me feel more tired than fighting a battle in a dangerous area.

Ying and Mule each pulled up a chair and sat down, and Qi Yuzhe sat down next to them. The three of them sat in a row, facing Han Che.

Xiao Bai came in last, closed the door, glanced at where the others were sitting, and finally sat down next to Han Che.

"How's it going, Han Che? Are you having any difficulties with this mission?" Xiao Bai turned her head and asked Han Che.

After all, Han Che was the only one who had defeated Said. Whether Long Teng and Feng Ming's plan was reliable or not, Xiao Bai thought it was up to Han Che to decide.

Han Che didn't answer directly. After thinking for a moment, he asked in return, "Old Zhou is still in the hospital, and we don't have enough people (six in total). What should we do?"

Qiu Ying chimed in from the side, "Old Zhou called me this afternoon and said he's doing much better and can be discharged tomorrow." As she spoke, she took out her phone, checked her call history, and glanced at the dates to confirm.

Han Che frowned slightly: "There's no need. Let him recover properly. A broken bone or tendon isn't something that can be cured overnight. Even if the doctor says he's out of the hospital, he might not be fully recovered."

Xiao Bai chimed in, "Let Lao Zhou rest and recover first. Five of us are enough. We only have so many people, the higher-ups won't make things difficult for us. Five people are enough to give them face."

"And what I mean is, we shouldn't take the initiative in the operation the day after tomorrow. Your role and Qi Yuzhe's role is to provide intelligence and make judgments; leave the fighting and killing to the people in those two clubs."

"We're not going to fight?" Han Che raised an eyebrow.

"We won't fight," Xiaobai said firmly. "It's still uncertain whether this operation is truly government-led. But since they're willing to send so many people, they won't really wait to put the burden on us."

"They still have their pride," Qi Yuzhe interjected. "I reckon they have their own plans. The mission to communicate with Said is definitely real, but how they actually carry it out is up to them."

Xiao Bai nodded. "Yes, that's what I mean, and I don't believe they wouldn't have selfish motives and try to steal Said's head."

"We can just watch from the sidelines; we'll treat it like a show."

"The two clubs have a good relationship on the surface, even among their upper management. But that doesn't affect the fierce competition among their operators."

"As you've probably noticed, there seems to be a lot of information they don't want to share with us."

"Although the honor of killing the BOSS will go to the club, the person who actually kills it will also receive a great deal of honor. So we still need to be careful and not trust them too much."

Han Che understood this all too well. Ever since he killed Said, all sorts of things had been happening. This situation became even more pronounced after his crushing defeat of the Joker Gang. All of this reputation had immense economic value.

If the competition between the achievements of two top clubs were to be brought into the mix, who knows how much trouble that would cause.

"Can't we trust the Dragon Club either?" Han Che glanced at Xiao Bai.

"It's true that my dad is the chairman of the Dragon Club, but these people don't know that," Xiaobai pouted and shook her head slightly. "Besides, Chairman Mai might just want to teach his precious daughter a lesson. He loves doing things like that."

"Also, we've just been nominated and might be promoted to a top club, so there's no need to compete with those two established top clubs. Let's keep a low profile for now."

"Let's treat this as a special training session before entering a top club. Let's not try to steal the spotlight from those two clubs and just enjoy watching their performance."

"If that's the case..." Han Che pondered for a moment, resting his chin on his hand, "then I think it's feasible. At least our people won't be in too much danger. That Said isn't that dangerous yet."

Xiao Bai nodded, and upon hearing Han Che's words, she felt a sense of relief.
