After Phoenix Cry Team 2 reorganized their formation and became serious, the team's morale changed.

Captain Ma walked at the front. His leg injury slowed him down a bit, but the painkillers kept it under control so it didn't affect his movements.

The three no longer walked separately as before, but stayed very close together, with Captain Ma in the middle and the other two following closely behind, forming a triangle.

Captain Ma raised his hand and made a gesture. The fat team member immediately crouched down, pointing his gun to the left, while the tall, thin man turned to the right. The three of them formed a dense defensive formation and then advanced forward.

The angles at which the three men fired at each other almost completely covered all blind spots in front of them.

Captain Ma lowered his voice and said, "Maintain this distance, don't spread out, cover each other."

The chubby player nodded. "Understood."

As they were about to pass a transformer box, the tall, thin man suddenly raised his hand to signal.

Captain Ma and the fat team member stopped at the same time. The tall, thin man pointed to a pile of scrap metal and wooden crates not far to his right.

The three of them focused intently and immediately heard very light footsteps and a faint metallic clanging sound.

The three immediately split up and each found cover.

Captain Ma pointed his gun out and said in a low voice, "Prepare to engage the enemy. I'll go first, you guys follow."

The three men moved almost simultaneously. Captain Ma slipped out from the side of the transformer box, rushed to the back of a low wall in two steps, then quickly crouched down, pointing his gun at the pile of debris.

The chubby teammate followed closely behind, taking the position to his left, while another person went around half a circle from the right and got behind another metal barrel.

The three people formed a net, surrounding the pile of debris in the middle.

Their response was a gunshot; the bullet struck the low wall in front of Captain Ma, and shards of it flew into his face.

Captain Ma immediately returned fire, firing two bursts that struck the pile of debris, producing a muffled thud through the metal sheet.

Immediately afterwards, two Asara soldiers sprang out from behind the pile of debris.

Instead of rushing out and firing, the two men ran off in opposite directions.

The guy on the left took two steps and then slid in, but his form wasn't quite right. He almost lost his balance after sliding out, but he managed to steady himself and then fired a burst of bullets in Captain Ma's direction.

The one on the right flipped over to the side, behind another wooden crate, and then poked out its gun and began firing.

Captain Ma's heart sank slightly when he saw this scene.

The two were working together: one drew fire while the other found a firing position.

Although the movements were stiff—the soldier who slid out twisted his right leg and almost fell—they were indeed mimicking the player's tactical movements.

Captain Ma shouted, "One on the left! One on the right!"

The chubby soldier was already prepared; he aimed a shot at the soldier on his left who was still adjusting his posture.

The soldier was hit in the chest before his gun was fully aimed at him, and he fell backward to the ground.

The other man was faster; just as the soldier on the right peeked out, he shot him in the shoulder. The soldier groaned and ducked back down.

Captain Ma gave the soldier no chance to catch his breath. He rushed out from behind the iron barrel, firing as he ran.

The soldier who had been shot tried to return fire, but his shoulder injury slowed his movement as he raised his gun.

In that instant, the fat soldier rushed in front of him, grabbed the barrel of his gun with his right hand and lifted it up, then slammed his left elbow into the soldier's chin, and kicked him in the chest, sending the soldier flying far away.

His movements were swift and clean; he didn't even glance at the soldier before turning and returning to his position.

The thinner teammate didn't forget to raise his gun and finish off the soldier's body. After twitching a few times on the ground with the sound of gunfire, the soldier's body went completely still.

Captain Ma looked at the blood-soaked corpse that had been finished off, nodded, and ordered in a deep voice, "Continue the advance."

The three of them regrouped and continued heading towards the main building.

Before long, they were about to arrive at the planned west side entrance of the main building.

Captain Ma raised his hand to indicate which door to enter through, and went directly into the main building.

But just as they reached the door, the room was dimly lit, and they couldn't see what was inside for a moment.

Just as the three were hesitating about how to break in, a volley of bullets shot out from the darkness inside the door.

The three immediately scattered, bullets clattering against the door frame and the adjacent wall, scattering debris and dust everywhere.

Captain Ma cursed, "Withdraw! Withdraw back!"

The three people immediately retreated and hid behind the walls on either side of the doorway.

Captain Ma leaned against the wall, catching his breath. He brushed the dust off his head and said, "These beasts have even learned how to set ambushes."

The chubby soldier rubbed his helmet, which had been hit, and said, "This bullet level, and it's still an Assara soldier, but he's actually camping here."

The thinner team member chimed in from the other side, "There are at least three people inside. Judging from the gunshots, there are two Bison rifles and one shotgun."

Captain Ma thought for a moment, then scoffed, "A bunch of junk. No time to waste on them, let's just charge in!"

The three nodded to each other, and then Captain Ma immediately took action.

Instead of rushing in through the door, he sidestepped and hugged the wall, quickly dodging to the door frame. He then fired two shots inward to suppress the people inside, followed by a leap into the doorway.

Upon entering the doorway, one is immediately greeted by a large hall with rows of servers, some cluttered tables and chairs, and numerous boxes and packages scattered in the corners.

Without thinking twice, Captain Ma rushed in, rolled on the ground, and hid behind a wooden crate.

As he landed, he caught a glimpse of two firing positions ahead: one behind the server on the left side of the hall, and the other at the top of the stairs on the right. There was also another person whose whereabouts were unknown.

Two figures were shooting at him, but their aim was poor; the bullets hit the ground next to him.

After Captain Ma crouched down, he immediately returned fire, shooting at the person behind the server on the left, who then retreated.

In just one round, Captain Ma tore a hole in the enemy's ambush.

The chubby team member followed closely behind, hunched over and running in quickly. As soon as he entered, he rolled to the right, leaned against a pile of debris against the wall, and then raised his gun to fire at the stairwell on the right.

Several shots were fired in quick succession, suppressing the man so much that he dared not show his face.

The skinny team member was the last to enter. Unlike the other two, he didn't seek cover after entering the room. Instead, he leaned against the wall by the door, pointing his gun towards the end of the corridor, as a source of fire support from the rear.

At this point, Asara's ambush deployment had completely failed, and the firepower of the Phoenix Cry Second Team had completely suppressed them.

Just as the three members of Phoenix Cry Team 2 occupied the hall and completed crossfire control.

Suddenly, the soldier on the left, Asara, rushed out from behind his cover, then pounced on the ground, lay down on his back, and fired a burst of bullets at the fat soldier while holding the bison.

However, the bullet's scattering and recoil were completely out of control, with bullets flying everywhere and failing to cause any effective damage.

The chubby teammate didn't give him a chance to readjust. He stood up, took a step forward, stepped out of the cover, and instantly locked onto the soldier lying on the ground.

Da da da!

The Tenglong bullets whistled out and hit their mark precisely; the soldier was killed in a single exchange.

The soldier's body was pushed backward a short distance by the bullet, leaving a trail of blood before rolling over and falling silent.

Almost at the same time, soldiers rushed out from the right stairwell.

Before he could even fire a shot, he was exposed to crossfire and instantly killed by Captain Ma and another team member who fired more than a dozen shots simultaneously.

Now only the last soldier with the shotgun has not yet been seen, but Captain Ma has already guessed his location.

"Do you really think we're as stupid as you NPCs, that we never learn?" Captain Ma hissed.

The gun barrels were raised to chamber a round, and sure enough, the two Asara soldiers' sudden movement was to cover the shotgunner lying prone above the server.

"This location might have been mysterious before, but now it's common knowledge among players. If you want to know why, go back and ask your Saeed!"

Da da da!

The soldier from Asara, who was lying in ambush above the server, had just gotten up when he was killed by Captain Ma, and his body went limp and he fell down.
