Delta: Who are you saying has suffered a loss of strength?

Han Che and Qi Yuzhe followed the squad leader across the square in front of the Tower of Babel. He led the way, and after turning two corners, they arrived at the main gate.

He swiped his card on the card reader by the door. The screen changed from red to green, and then a familiar female voice came from the access control system, "Identity verification successful. Welcome to Babel Tower."

The glass doors slid open to both sides, and the squad leader stepped aside to make way for them. "Please come in, gentlemen."

Han Che nodded and stepped inside, with Qi Yuzhe following behind. Neither of them spoke, as they both surveyed their surroundings.

The interior of the hall is more spacious than it appears from the outside, with a double-height space that is about three or four stories high.

The surrounding walls are still made of cold gray metal, but with many more gold lines than the exterior.

However, the entire space still retains the strong industrial style of Hafk, with no superfluous decorations, except for the Hafk group logo displayed around the pillars in the center of the hall.

Occasionally, one or two people wearing the same gray-blue uniforms would walk through the corner of the corridor.

"The others will arrive soon. Please come upstairs to the reception room to rest for a while."

"The others? Are there other people coming besides us?" Qi Yuzhe asked in surprise.

The squad leader nodded. "Yes, the other leaders will all be attending this meeting today."

He didn't specify who else was involved, but Han Che had already gleaned the key point from his choice of words; the word "leader" stirred something within him.

He turned his head and quickly exchanged a glance with Qi Yuzhe; both of them saw the same wariness and curiosity in each other's eyes.

Han Che and Qi Yuzhe exchanged a glance. There were actually other map bosses coming?

The two then followed Squad Leader Hafk to the control room. The elevator doors opened by themselves before they even got close, as if welcoming pre-arranged visitors.

"There's an elevator!" Qi Yuzhe exclaimed in surprise, his mouth agape.

"Heh, Lord Raven, you jest. The Tower of Babel has hundreds of floors, of course it has elevators. You can't exactly climb it on foot, can you?"

Qi Yuzhe smiled, didn't reply to him, but raised an eyebrow at Han Che.

Han Che naturally understood what he meant.

After all, in the game of the previous life, to get to the top of the tower, you first needed to pull the power switch.

Then you have to wait several minutes for the power system to be restored, and there's no elevator, only a cable, so you have to hang on the cable and slide up.

These Hafk soldiers probably couldn't possibly know this.

As they entered the elevator, the squad leader was the last to come in. After swiping his ID card, he pressed the button at the top.

The elevator doors slowly closed and began to ascend.

The floor numbers jumped quickly through a string of numbers, and the acceleration and deceleration were very smooth, with no shaking of the elevator car walls.

With a ding, the elevator doors opened.

The layout is very similar to what I remember; this is the top of the tower.

The top of the tower has large floor-to-ceiling windows, providing excellent natural light and making it much brighter than the ground floor.

The black floor tiles paired with the red carpet, along with the gold decorations on the surrounding walls, make the place even more opulent.

Stepping out of the elevator, Han Che glanced around unconsciously, somewhat disappointed.

He had expected to see familiar elements from his memory, such as a sand-colored safe in the corner, or collectibles like "Zongheng," "Wanjin Leiguan," and "Tianyuan Difang" on the surrounding sofas and coffee tables.

Turning around, she met Qi Yuzhe's gaze, which was looking around and was clearly somewhat disappointed.

At the top of the Tower of Babel, no matter who comes, they all have to take a look at the spawn points of the three Egyptian Gods.

The three turned around, and the iconic golden tree came into view, with a thick trunk and a canopy that extended all the way to the second floor.

However, the blood pool and the "planned box" that provided a dog tag were not found in the tree pit.

Qi Yuzhe slowed his pace as he walked to the tree and suddenly asked, "Don't you keep any pets on top of this tower?"

When Hafk, the squad leader who was leading the way, heard this question, he paused in his tracks.

He's been working here for quite a while, how come he's never heard of anyone keeping pets on top of the tower?

He turned to look at Qi Yuzhe, a hint of confusion on his face. "Pets? This is the headquarters of the Hafk Group. I doubt anyone would dare to keep one, right? Mr. Jacob doesn't seem to have any hobbies with cats or dogs either..."

Qi Yuzhe curled his lip, "It's a real shame that such a big place doesn't have two Nile crocodiles."

"Nile crocodile?" Squad leader Hafk was taken aback upon hearing this, unsure of what to say. He gave an awkward smile, "Lord Raven is quite humorous..." He then said no more and hurried on leading the way.

Han Che smiled knowingly. It was their first time here, yet they felt a sense of familiarity, as if they were revisiting a familiar place.

What Qi Yuzhe was referring to was the unique feature of the top floor of the Tower of Babel in the game.

The top of the Tower of Babel has a higher drop rate and more abundant resources.

(Maybe? But once you're up there, getting down will be difficult!)

But it also has formidable guards, including Nile crocodiles and flamethrower soldiers.

This is a unique configuration in the top area of the Tower of Babel, and it's also the combination that players need to pay the most attention to in the game.

If you don't intend to conserve bullets, it's fine. But if you're even slightly reluctant to use bullets, the combined attack of the flamethrower soldiers and Nile crocodiles at the top level will definitely make those who disrespect them pay the price instantly.

Although Han Che did not see the Nile crocodiles or the fire-breathing soldiers, there were quite a few Hafk soldiers here.

They were evenly distributed around the room, holding guns, standing straight and motionless.

The three walked under the golden tree and went up the stairs to the second floor.

Squad Leader Hafk led the two to the president's office. "You two can rest here for a bit. The other leaders are already on their way." He then turned and left.

He closed the door behind him, leaving only the two of them in the room.

"How are you feeling?" Han Che asked.

"The layout is almost exactly the same as I remember," Qi Yuzhe said, turning around and draping an arm over the back of the chair. "There's not even a big security deposit box or anything in this room?"

Han Che chuckled. "What, you want to take something back with you?"

Qi Yuzhe leaned back, stretching his legs out and resting them on the desk. "Hey! You know what, I found my first African Heart here!"

Qi Yuzhe pointed to the table, indicating that it was right here.

This room is a key room in the game. Besides having a large security feature, the most enticing thing is that the Heart of Africa might spawn on the table in the open.

Furthermore, the room is surrounded by transparent glass, allowing anyone outside to see inside without needing to activate a card.
