Han Che pushed open the club door, and the electronic doorbell above the door frame rang once.

This was recently added, probably because there have been too many people lately, and we might not even notice when someone comes in.

The club's layout hadn't changed much from before. Xiao Bai seemed to be waiting at the front desk. Hearing the doorbell, he looked up and saw Han Che walk in.

She immediately stood up, walked around the front desk to greet him, and said, "You're here? It's late, have you eaten?"

Han Che's gaze swept around the room. "It gets dark early, we haven't eaten yet."

Xiao Bai looked behind Han Che and, finding no one there, asked, "Where's Yu Zhe? Why hasn't he come back?"

"He's had some family matters to attend to recently, so he can't come for the time being," Han Che explained casually.

The truth is that after Qi Yuzhe returned from the Tower of Babel, he spent almost every day researching his new system.

Han Che hadn't seen him in the office these past few days, and even Shi Ding, who came to report on his work, said he hadn't seen Qi Yuzhe either.

Han Che was somewhat worried, so he made a special trip to his cell to visit him.

They found Qi Yuzhe staring blankly into the air, sitting on the edge of the bed gesturing with his fingers and muttering something under his breath.

Han Che was actually a little worried about this matter. He always felt that something was wrong with the system, but things had already developed to this point, and there was nothing he could do about it.

Han Che counted down the days; Club 78 was about to participate in joint training, so he prepared to set off for the player world.

Qi Yuzhe told Han Che to go by himself, while he stayed behind at Tide Prison.

According to recent reports from Shi Ding and Shi Lei, there has been an increasing number of American players in Tide Prison, and they are all heading towards the core area, putting considerable pressure on the prison's defenses.

Qi Yuzhe then took this opportunity to offer to guard the prison and test his Level 4 system.

Han Che had intended to give some instructions, but in the end, all his words boiled down to "Take care" before he went to the player world alone.

After hearing Han Che's answer, Xiao Bai didn't ask any further questions.

She stepped closer to Han Che and gently pushed his arm from the side to lead him inside. "Let's go then. I have a few things to tell you. Can you give me some advice? I'm having trouble making up my mind."

Han Che was pushed along a few steps by her. He turned his head and glanced at her. "You're the club owner, huh? There's something you can't decide? Where's your strategist Qiu?" His tone was a little teasing as he walked in the direction she was pushing him.

"Her? She's incredibly busy." Xiaobai took her hand off his shoulder and walked alongside him to his side.

"Kai can't handle many things on his own, and Qiuying has to help him with everything, so I hired a few more assistants to handle his daily affairs."

As she spoke, she pointed to the newly added table next to the front desk, "Those are the ones over there."

Han Che glanced in the direction he pointed. The two new assistants were young women about the same age as Xiao Bai, who were organizing documents with their heads down. Hearing the commotion, they craned their necks from behind their desks to look over.

It seemed that her eyes lit up when she saw Han Che, but she quickly shrank back and continued working.

"It's time to recruit more people," Han Che nodded. "What about combat personnel? Haven't you increased their numbers?"

When Xiaobai heard this question, she sighed and slumped her shoulders. "Although the authorities haven't explicitly forbidden us from hiring, they've said they don't recommend too many personnel changes. To put it bluntly, they don't want us to expand, but they can't say it outright." She then spread her hands.

Han Che frowned. He was not satisfied with the official attitude, but he could understand why such an arrangement would be made.

The club had only been promoted for a short time before joining the joint training program, coinciding with a period of strict investigation into foreign infiltration in China. Expanding the size of the team at this juncture was indeed inappropriate.

Xiao Bai led Han Che to the office area and pushed open the half-closed door.

"Oh~ President Han is here?" Qiu Ying glanced up at the door and saw Xiao Bai bringing Han Che in. She then looked back at the computer screen and started to speak sarcastically.

"This leader has graced us with his presence. I've been so busy with work lately that I haven't had a chance to properly receive him." She stared at the screen as she typed, her words "work" tinged with resentment.

Han Che stood at the door and laughed when he heard Qiu Ying's words. He knew that Qiu Ying was complaining that he hadn't done any work.

Han Che smiled, as if he was complaining about not doing any work. But thinking about it carefully, he realized that he hadn't really been involved in the management of Club 78. He was more like a henchman.

But then he thought about it again and realized that he had actually made many of the judgments. Even if it wasn't something he made directly, Xiaobai would still ask him to confirm his thinking afterward. He seemed to have unknowingly become someone in a core position.

For a moment, I was in a daze.

"There's nothing much to it. How can a military officer like him do these chores?" Xiao Bai defended Han Che.

Seeing Xiaobai protecting Han Che, Qiu Ying rolled her eyes. This wasn't the first time Xiaobai had defended him like this. Although Qiu Ying was used to it, she still found it boring.

"Oh right, right, you two leaders have the final say, I'm just an employee... Where's President Qi? President Qi didn't come?" Qiu Ying glanced behind her and saw only Han Che, so she couldn't help but ask.

"He's been busy lately and can't come for the time being," Han Che explained.

"Tch, I don't know what they're so busy with..." Qiu Ying muttered, then grabbed her phone from the table, stood up, and was about to leave.

Upon hearing this, Qiu Ying couldn't help but mutter under her breath, "Tch, one or two of them, I don't know what they're so busy with."

Then she stood up from her chair, grabbed her phone from the table, and walked around the corner of the table toward the door.

"Where are you going?" Xiaobai asked upon seeing this.

"Make room for you two, so you don't influence company decisions."

After Qiu Ying finished speaking, she deliberately squeezed between Han Che and Xiao Bai. When she got to Han Che's side, she deliberately bumped her shoulder into him.

Han Che turned his body slightly and looked down at Qiu Ying's head. Qiu Ying turned her head back, raised her face, made a face at him, and then angrily pushed the door open and left.

Xiao Bai stood by the table, looking at the closed door, and smiled helplessly. "She's been quite resentful about her work these past few days. There are two joint venture partners, and she's responsible for liaising with them. But they actually have government connections; they're polite on the surface, but they're very arrogant and difficult to deal with."

"I've been going back and forth over this GG issue for the past two days, and I've had to put up with a lot of frustration."

Han Che nodded. "You've worked hard lately. When Qi Yuzhe comes back, we'll treat everyone to a meal."

Xiaobai smiled, walked behind the desk and sat down. She reached out and tidied up the documents on the desk.

"Sure, but let's wait until we've finished dealing with all the recent things first."
