Chapter 34 Elemental Body Refining Wizard

"Boom!" "Boom!" "Boom!"

A continuous roar echoed all around as Willis rampaged through the wizard's tower, destroying everything in his path.

"Do we need a little more time?" Shilling was calculating something, and in response to Willis's attack, he simply manipulated the wizard tower and used his own defensive spells to defend against it.

There was no intention of retaliating whatsoever.

"Shiling! Fight me head-on!"

Willis roared and chanted another syllable, then his entire body suddenly swelled up, transforming into a small giant more than four meters tall.

They dealt with the sand golems that Shillien had pulled out to buy time with one punch each, smashing them to pieces.

"Damn it, all I can think about are muscle-building wizards."

Shilling was almost backed up to the very bottom of the Wizard Tower.

"You take one of my spells first!"

He took out a wooden staff that was entirely purple, with three purple gems inlaid at the top, which was wrapped by the tangled branches at the top of the staff.

"Sizzle!"

Three blinding purple bolts of lightning shot out from the gem, which Willis easily blocked by simply crossing his arms in front of him.

"Do you think I would come to the Kingdom of Ent without any preparation, facing a wizard specializing in lightning elements?"

Willis chuckled, then with a burst of strength from his arms, shattered Shillien's purple lightning.

"A spell that directly defends against lightning?"

Schilling frowned slightly; he could naturally see how Willis was resisting the lightning spell.

"You even took a 'lightning resistance potion' before coming to my wizard tower? You really do take a mere first-tier wizard like me seriously."

Shirin waved his staff, and bolts of lightning flashed. The power of each bolt of lightning surpassed that of the Earth Elemental Cannon, and even Russell's full-power instantaneous wind blade.

This is genuine Tier 1 sorcery.

Shilin, who was inside the wizard's tower and had activated a wizard's array to buff himself, casually and instantly cast the attack as a normal attack.

No first-tier wizard could withstand such an attack.

Unfortunately, Willis is a second-tier wizard, and a second-tier body-refining wizard at that!

They even take potions and cast spells to achieve the maximum possible lightning element defense.

This weakened Shillien's spell power to a very low level, making it unable to even break through Willis's defenses!

Making thorough preparations and taking targeted actions before battle is the wizard's fighting style.

and so.

"You think I'm unguarded, Willis?"

Shilin waved his staff, and a bolt of lightning shot out.

"I already said the Thunder didn't... wait!"

Willis stopped in his tracks and dodged the bolt of lightning.

But the mere gust of wind from the thunder grazed Willis's cheek.

He gently wiped his cheek, and the tiny wound healed instantly, the blood being wiped away by Willis.

This is a habit he has developed over the years.

In battle, you cannot carelessly discard blood when facing a wizard, otherwise the opponent may use the blood to cast a spell curse.

Although Shilling is just an elemental wizard, we should not belittle our opponents too much.

Who knows what deadly move Xilin has devised over these five hundred years?

Shilling's progress alone cannot compare to the changes brought about by the intellectual exchange among a large number of wizards in the Wizarding Association.

However, they should not be underestimated.

Just like that move from before.

"Elemental transformation? To instantly transform the properties of lightning into those of wind, that's impressive."

Willis praised it.

The lightning attack that Shilin just unleashed had already converted most of its power as it passed through the air.

Lightning element transforms into wind element; the real killing move is the powerful wind generated by the lightning!

It appears to be the main body of the thunderbolt, but in reality, it's just an empty shell, capable of killing wizard apprentices who lack defensive spells.

Any strong knight could withstand it with his own body.

"Your wizard tower has been inscribed with so many elemental transformation magic arrays, and it has even undergone many improvements compared to the design from five hundred years ago."

"Shilin, you've probably spent most of these five hundred years researching transformation magic arrays."

"It seems that what I found out was correct, and the secret of this place is real."

Willis smiled and continued his attack on Schilling.

"This matter cannot possibly have been leaked! I haven't told anyone, and I destroyed all the documents from that time; there's not a single trace left!"

Shilling raised his staff, and bolts of lightning flashed, making Willis no longer dare to ignore it as before and rely on his body to withstand the attack.

Before arriving at Shillien's Wizard Tower, Willis had only made special enhancements to his defenses against lightning.

There wasn't as much preparation for the other elements.

Who could have imagined that Shilling's research on elemental transformation magic arrays had reached such a level, and that he had gone so far as to inscribe elemental transformation magic arrays throughout the entire wizard tower?

But the more Schilling acted this way, the more it confirmed Willis's suspicions, making him burst into laughter.

"Shiling! Stop resisting! Just die obediently!"

Willis uttered another syllable, and layers of thick rock and soil began to climb onto his body, emanating an incredibly rich earth element.

"Elements? You're a dual-cultivation wizard of elemental and physical arts?" Shilin's eyes widened. Cultivating only one element was enough to make a wizard devote his entire life to it!

Two approaches combined?

Apart from true geniuses, no wizard dares to take this path.

Not to mention that Willis was just an old man whose life was about to end and who didn't have many decades left to live!

He spent his entire life and only became a second-tier wizard, yet he dared to be distracted by dual cultivation!

"A laggard is a laggard! The Wizarding Association has long since developed techniques for tempering the body with elements!"

"Nowadays, elemental wizards and body-refining wizards are no longer distinguished; they are collectively referred to as elemental body-refining wizards!"

"I was just playing along before, but now I'll show you my true strength!"

In just a few moments, Willis had transformed into a rock monster even larger than the Sand Golem.

Willis, who was over ten meters tall, broke through the wizard tower, and then a huge hand slammed down.

He pressed it directly against Shilling.

Schilling waved his wand, and the lightning was transformed into various elemental attacks, but it could only shatter his palm and blast away fragments of rock, without harming Willis, who was inside the rock giant!

Even the rocky palm is constantly regenerating.

"Five hundred years have passed. It seems I have indeed fallen behind."

Shirin suddenly chuckled self-deprecatingly, "After this is all over, I'll have to go back to the Wizarding Association and get some serious relearning!"

"The future? You have no future! Schilling!"

Willis’s deep voice came from the rock giant.

"That's not necessarily true!"

A near-maniacal smile appeared on Shilling's face, and a massive magic array suddenly appeared at the bottom of the wizard tower.

"boom!"

A vast blue beam of light erupted from the magic array.

Soaring straight to the sky!
