Chapter 68 The Secret of the Triss Family

"Trist City".

Russell looked at the map and sensed the strong third-order spiritual fluctuations in the city.

"Third-tier Dream Clan members not only give themselves names, but also surnames, and establish family power."

"The city of Triss is under the rule of the Triss family, which has two third-tier members, more than a dozen second-tier members, and dozens of first-tier members."

"The other first and second-tier Dream Clan members in the city live under the rule of the Tris family."

"It is truly unimaginable that a race that considers its own kind as a great source of nourishment could develop into a family."

Russell led Kahn into Tris City. After confirming the direction, they headed straight for the location of the third-tier Dream Clan.

"This is the location of the Triss family. Is there anything you need?"

The Dream Clan guards of the Tris family were all Level 3 Dream Clan members who had developed sentience. At this moment, they were very polite, and their mental fluctuations were very respectful.

"My name is Harrell, and I wish to visit Lord Beliro Triss." Russell was completely shrouded in a black robe, showing no trace of either the Dream Clan or human characteristics.

His mental fluctuations were a complete simulation of the deceased second-tier Dream Clan member named Harel.

This is also why the Level 3 Dream Clan members in front of them are so respectful to Russell.

Even within the Tris family, there are only a dozen or so second-tier Dream Clan members.

Looking across the entire city of Triss, there are only about twenty second-tier Dream Clan members, each of whom holds a prestigious position.

Even the Tris family wouldn't offend these second-tier Dream Clan members for no reason.

"Please allow me to inform them first."

The Level 3 Dream Clan member was very respectful and only went to report after obtaining Russell's consent.

Before long, a first-tier Dream Clan member came out to greet Russell and led him to a room to settle in.

"Chief Bellillo is very busy lately, I'm afraid you'll have to wait a while." The first-tier Dream Clan member's mental fluctuations were full of apology.

"No rush. It is already an honor for Lord Bellillo to be willing to see me. How could I dare to urge him?"

Russell smiled.

For the Dream Clan, who are born with long lifespans, waiting a year or two is a trivial matter.

But he didn't have that much time to waste here.

and so.

The next moment, the body of the first-tier Dream Clan flickered, and it took a while to recover.

"Master." The first-tier Dream Clan member knelt on one knee, his mental fluctuations filled with a sense of submission.

"Tell me about the Triss family and what Bellillo is up to," Russell said.

"The Tris family has been acting strangely lately. Bellillo and Kalitz are researching something, and it's quite mysterious."

"As a first-tier Dream Clan member, I don't even have access to the core of the clan. Perhaps other second-tier Dream Clan members might know something."

Kaliz is another third-tier Dream Clan member of the Tris family.

"The knowledge of the first-tier Dream Clan is obviously limited. If we want to know more, we still have to take action against the second-tier Dream Clan."

Russell dismissed the first-tier Dream Clan members and then stayed temporarily with the Triss family.

The Tris family's dreamers were naturally very curious about Russell, this unfamiliar "second-order dreamer".

Through the introduction of a first-tier Dream Clan member secretly controlled by Russell, Russell met a second-tier Dream Clan member from the Tris family a few times and quickly became "friends".

Then, through this friend's introduction, other second-tier Dream Clan members also began to invite Russell to visit.

He also became a "friend" of Russell.

Unbeknownst to him, all seventeen second-tier Dream Clan members of the Tris family had been secretly controlled by Russell and made his "friends".

Unfortunately, these second-tier Dream Clan members, like the first-tier Dream Clan members Russell initially controlled, only realized that there seemed to be some secret between Beliro and Kaliz.

However, the other party concealed it extremely well, and the other Dream Clan members of the Triss family had no idea what they were hiding.

The nature of the Dream Clan makes them instinctively avoid prying into this secret.

If something terrible were discovered, their fragile kinship would be utterly incapable of preventing their deaths.

Their only fate is to be swallowed up.

The Dream Clan is such a race.

Russell, however, was very interested in the secrets they both possessed.

Thus, these second-tier alien races, under Russell's orders, began to secretly investigate the two third-tier alien races, Bellillo and Kaliz.

We can start by analyzing their behavior when they appear in public and what they usually do.

They even secretly went to the residences of two third-tier Dream Clan members to conduct an investigation.

However, this matter obviously could not be hidden from the two cautious third-tier Dream Clan members.

In just one month, the two of them had already killed four second-tier Dream Clan members of the Tris family. "This can't go on. The deaths of these clansmen have not made the remaining guys behave themselves. On the contrary, they have become more and more outrageous, wanting to know the truth."

Kaliz released a distressed mental fluctuation.

"These guys are acting like they've gone mad. Has something happened lately?"

Bellillo was also troubled. His purpose in creating the Tris family was to protect the city of Tris and seek more benefits.

Other third-tier Dream Clan members of the Creation Family also thought the same way.

They established themselves in cities, seized Originium mines and other valuable resource points, and called themselves lords.

The Dream Clan king remained tacitly in agreement.

Because that's exactly what he did: selling valuable resources produced at resource points to races in need, and even to wizards, thus engaging in an act of "aiding the enemy."

Only when things go upwards will those downwards follow suit.

But now, the Dream Clan of the Triss family are desperately trying to find out their secrets.

This is already an act intended to harm Bellillo's interests.

However, killing a second-tier Dream Clan member of the Tris family also harms his interests!

This is what really troubled Bellillo.

"Some time ago, it seems that a second-tier Dream Clan member named Harel wanted to see you."

Kaliz pondered for a moment before releasing his mental energy. "However, that matter has recently reached a critical stage, and there's no time to waste."

"So I let him stay here for now, and we'll summon him when we have time."

"Harel?" Beliro pondered for a moment. "Regardless, he's just a second-tier Dream Clan member. Let's control him first. So what if he has a third-tier lord backing him?"

"If it's not his problem, then we can talk about other things."

A chilling aura emanated from Bellillo's mental fluctuations; clearly, regardless of the outcome, he had no intention of letting Russell off the hook.

Immediately afterwards, Bellillo and Kalize went to Russell's residence, preparing to take action against him.

"Is the target moving because it's coming for me?"

Russell sensed the movement of the two third-order mental fluctuations and snapped out of his ongoing research.

"Perfect, let's just get rid of it."

Russell stepped out of the room and stood on an open space in the Tris family compound, quietly waiting for the arrival of the two third-tier Dream Clan members.
