Su Mu felt a constant ringing in his ears, a dizzying sensation that swept over his entire body, and complete darkness before his eyes, making it impossible to see anything at all. His soul seemed to be swept up by this inexplicable force, floating and sinking uncertainly.

He didn't know how much time had passed when suddenly he felt light all over, and inexplicably found himself high in the sky. Then, like a kite with a broken string, he plummeted downwards.

The moment he regained control of his body, Su Mu twisted his body in the air, his feet stomping on the void. Although he had no power to enhance him, his physical strength remained intact. With a series of air explosions, he landed steadily on a gravel-covered ground.

He composed himself and slowly scanned his surroundings. All around him was darkness, with extremely weak light. Only in the distance could he vaguely see some shadowy mountain rocks, indistinct and exuding a sense of deathly desolation.

He subconsciously tried to activate his internal magic power, but found that there was no reaction at all, and he couldn't even open the storage bag.

Only the World Ring on his hand remained completely unaffected; he could activate it at will with a thought, clearly unaffected by the aura of spiritual desolation in this place.

The next moment, his figure vanished and then reappeared in the same spot. After a few tests, he immediately understood.

"As expected of a gold-quality item, its status is indeed high."

Su Mu looked somewhat surprised. He had previously thought that after arriving in the Netherworld, he would only be able to rely on the power of his physical body. If the World Ring could be used normally, wouldn't he really be here to buy goods?

He looked at the Qiankun Disc in his hand and saw that the coordinate markings on it were still clear and could be triggered at will, which made him feel more at ease. He then put the Qiankun Disc into his world ring.

Since his divine sense was completely imprisoned and he could not explore outwards, Su Mu could only rely on his naked eyes to see. After a moment's thought, he randomly chose a direction and began to walk slowly forward, carefully exploring the surrounding environment.

After walking for more than a hundred feet, he had figured out his surroundings. He was in a vast stone forest. As far as the eye could see, there were only jagged stone pillars and sand and stones everywhere. There was no grass growing around, and it was completely silent. He could not even detect the slightest trace of life. It was extremely desolate.

"This space is quite large. I wonder if there are any villages nearby?"

Su Mu frowned, unwilling to linger in this desolate stone forest. He immediately pushed off with his feet, channeling his physical strength into his legs, and his speed increased dramatically as he traversed the stone forest.

With his unparalleled physical strength, he rampaged through the stone forest. The stone pillars blocking his path were no match for him; they shattered with a single blow from his physical power, carving out a straight path through the stone forest.

About fifteen minutes later, Su Mu emerged from the stone forest and a deep valley suddenly appeared before him.

On either side of the valley stand two dark red peaks, hundreds of feet high, their bodies faintly glowing with a reddish light, appearing particularly eerie in this dark world.

The moment he stepped out of the stone forest, the silent space suddenly changed dramatically. A violent, eerie wind abruptly rose up, its howling extremely piercing. Sand, stones, and dust on the ground were swept up by the gale and flew everywhere, instantly blotting out the sun. The already dim world was plunged into complete darkness.

The chilling wind carried a bone-chilling cold, and wherever it passed, a strange layer of white frost quickly condensed on the rocks and the ground. The frost gleamed with a faint, cold light, which ironically made the pitch-black space appear slightly brighter.

With Su Mu's current physical strength, this bit of yin wind naturally had no effect on him, and even made him feel slightly refreshed.

However, if it were an ordinary cultivator, without the protection of magical power, they would probably be penetrated to the bone marrow by this coldness in a short time, their limbs would be frozen and they would be unable to stand.

Su Mu reached out and brushed past a boulder beside him, picking up a bit of white frost with his fingers. Upon closer inspection, he felt a pure yet chilling power swirling around his fingertips, carrying a sense of familiarity.

His gaze sharpened slightly, and he muttered to himself, "It's actually the power of the Netherworld."

As soon as he finished speaking, countless scarlet eyes suddenly lit up in the deep valley ahead, densely packed and covering the entire valley, making the whole valley faintly red.

Immediately afterwards, a series of ferocious roars echoed from the valley, accompanied by chaotic footsteps, rapidly approaching this direction.

Su Mu narrowed his eyes and stared intently. He saw a large number of crimson figures pouring out of the valley. These monsters were over ten feet long, with leopard heads and human bodies. Their bodies were covered in fine red scales, and their mouths were bared, revealing a mouthful of sharp fangs, making them look extremely ferocious.

Upon seeing Su Mu, they immediately glared at him as if they had spotted prey, their eyes flashing with ferocity as they swarmed around him, their roars growing increasingly urgent.

"Is this the Firescale Beast most commonly seen in the Netherworld? It certainly has a unique appearance."

Su Mu showed no fear, but instead looked at them with great curiosity, clicking his tongue in amazement.

Just then, the first fire-scaled beast pounced forward, roaring as it leaped up and lunged at Su Mu.

"So weak. In the outside world, it wouldn't even be as good as an ordinary level one demon beast."

Su Mu raised an eyebrow, feeling slightly bored. He casually waved his right palm, and a fierce gust of wind suddenly burst forth.

The group of fire-scaled beasts charging ahead were powerless to resist and were instantly torn apart by the gale, turning into countless debris and blood splattering everywhere, staining the ground crimson.

Su Mu's gaze swept over the corpses scattered on the ground, but he did not find any trace of the Yinming Beast Crystal. He thought to himself, "It seems that this item can only be found inside the Cunning Beast."

The commotion and the strong stench of blood seemed to have attracted a herd of beasts from the depths of the valley. A large number of fire-scaled beasts emerged from the valley, accompanied by unusually heavy footsteps, clearly indicating that even more powerful yin beasts had been drawn there.

A moment later, several enormous black shadows, each over ten feet tall, suddenly appeared behind the fire-scaled beast horde.

They were incredibly large, resembling giant gray apes magnified dozens of times. They had four eyes on their faces, a pair of fleshy wings under their ribs, and each hand held a strange black tree. Blood-red light shone from their eyes, and their aura was extremely violent.

"Are these the Cunning Beasts? They're all so ugly."

Su Mu grumbled, realizing that the Yinming Beasts' appearances were so haphazardly created in this dark place.

One of the cunning beasts suddenly roared to the sky, spewing out a chilling gust of wind that rushed straight at Su Mu. Wherever the wind passed, a thick layer of frost instantly condensed on the ground, exuding a biting cold.

With a light step, Su Mu's figure moved like a ghost through the yin wind, appearing almost instantly above the cunning beast's head.

"You have a loud voice, huh?"

He snorted coldly, raised his hand slightly, and slowly patted the giant beast's body. The seemingly casual pat contained terrifying physical power. The cunning beast instantly turned into dust from the neck down, and the burst of air crushed a large number of fire-scaled beasts around it.

Su Mu cut open the giant beast's remaining head and quickly found a thumb-sized green crystal inside, which was the Yinming Beast Crystal.

He took the crystal in his hand, examined it, and then casually put it into his world ring. He then turned his gaze to the remaining two cunning beasts.

Seeing their kind easily killed, the two cunning beasts showed no fear whatsoever. Instead, their bloodlust intensified, and their ferocious aura grew even stronger as they launched a fierce attack on Su Mu.

A cunning beast leaped high into the air, brandishing a strange black tree trunk, and slammed it down on Su Mu.

The other creature suddenly shrank in size, its thick neck hairs standing on end, transforming into streaks of black light that shot out like a tidal wave.

Su Mu didn't even glance at the black light, letting it strike his body. The black light shattered and scattered instantly upon touching his flesh, unable to harm him in the slightest.

He looked up at the cunning beast in the air, flicked his finger, and a pebble shot out instantly. It first shattered the strange wood in the beast's hand, and then, without slowing down, blasted a huge bloody hole in the beast's body. The beast screamed and fell heavily from the sky, dying on the spot.

Su Mu moved swiftly, arriving in front of the last cunning beast. He grabbed its foot with one hand, exerted force, and swung the giant beast high into the air before slamming it hard against the ground.

In the blink of an eye, the powerful and cunning beast was smashed into a pile of mangled flesh, lifeless.

He bent down and took out two excellent-quality Yinming Beast Crystals from the heads of the two beast corpses. After putting them away, he looked up into the deep, dark valley and a faint smile appeared on his lips.

"The hunt begins!"
