"This is what Evilthroat wanted to take back then," Evita said, placing the red cloak on the table. "I saw that he seemed to have taken it from a large wooden barrel."

"Is that so?" Charles frowned, staring at the things on his desk.

After he had just visited the fairy, he was intercepted by Evita in the fortress, and then the two of them arrived at the stone house in Ciel.

"This stuff is probably the source of the Holy Water for the Evilthroat Army," Charles nodded slightly, then looked up at the centaur girl. Compared to before, the dark cloud over Evita's brow had dissipated considerably. It seemed that killing Evilthroat with her own hands had brought her much relief. "Did you encounter any danger when you killed Evilthroat?"

Upon hearing the goblin's question, Evita pursed her lips and then slightly bowed her upper body. "I haven't thanked you yet. If it weren't for your special care of Brother Orec, I might already be a lifeless corpse."

"Is it that dangerous?" Charles narrowed his eyes, then looked down at the object wrapped in the red cloak on the table.

"Evil Throat is still very powerful. His powerful magical energy explosion was really strong. If it weren't for the armor you gave me, I wouldn't have been able to kill him at all," Evita recalled the previous battle, her hands unconsciously clenching into fists a few times. "If it weren't for Brother Orec shooting the arrow in time..."

She paused for a few seconds, then shook her head. "At that moment, looking at Evil Throat's smug grin, I actually felt a sliver of fear. From the very beginning of the charge, I didn't feel even the slightest bit of fear."

"It's nothing," Ciel said with a smile, gently tapping the table a few times to divert the centaur girl's attention. "True courage is not the absence of fear, but choosing to do the right thing even when you are afraid."

Evita's lips moved slightly, as if she were savoring the other person's words.

"Fear is a biological instinct, but courage is our hymn," Charles said with a smile.

"Thank you, Chief." Evita nodded heavily, then ignored the things on the table, tossed her hair and turned around. "So you can worry about these things. I need to go find my people to clean up the battlefield."

Charles looked at the centaur girl, who had regained her haughty demeanor, and smirked. "Given her personality, it's probably very difficult for her to let others see her afraid. It's unprecedented for her to tell anyone that she's scared."

After Evita left, Ciel reached out and lifted the rough cloth in front of him. Inside the cloak, a black object was wrapped up.

It looks like a slightly curved horn, about the length of a forearm. The black horn is covered with several spiral patterns, and at the bottom of the horn, there are many red patterns that look like blood.

"A long horn?" Charles reached out and picked it up. "It looks quite ordinary. The way it's curved is a lot like a goat's horn, but this one seems a bit longer."

"So the Evilthroat Army uses this to control those slave soldiers?" He looked the object in his hand up and down. "And how come those goblins and ogres can all use magic bursts? What does that have to do with this thing?"

Without giving it any further thought, Charles summoned the panel of the object in his hand and then threw the long black horn to the ground like a grenade about to explode.

[Note: Anger is desperately searching for this horn; only by reclaiming it will anger feel whole.]

"Damn it!" Charles blurted out. "This damn thing is a huge problem."

Every intelligent race living in this world knows that the Four Gods proclaim themselves to be benevolent, while the other six are the Demon Lords. Although their physical bodies are trapped in the Eternal Dark Plane, their evil consciousness continues to roam the material plane. From a young age, Xia Er was taught to be wary of the temptations of demons or to seek the protection of the gods to avoid being harmed by them.

Sometimes, demon races tear apart the planes of matter, resulting in many casualties. However, the six demon lords are too large to come to the material plane.

But now, the Angry Horn, one of the six great demon lords, was lying quietly in front of him, which made his hair stand on end. "A demon lord is a being slightly weaker than the four gods, but he is still a very powerful character. If he finds out that his horn is with me, my entire race will probably be wiped out overnight."

"No, judging by the Demon Lord's ways," he sighed, looking at the glowing mushrooms on the ceiling, "my race will probably descend into madness, attacking each other until the last one dies."

"Is that Evil Throat guy brave or stupid?" He put the horn back on the table. "Now look what's happened, he's dumped all the trouble on me."

Charles rubbed his face, then sat back down in his chair. "Should we keep this, or bury it in some deserted underground ruin?"

After thinking for a while, he shook his head. "If we bury it, there's no guarantee that some other green-throated or blue-throated creatures won't find it. But if we keep it with us, who knows what other accidents might happen?"

"The Demon Lord is furious," Charles tapped the table slowly with his hand. "Where did Evilthroat get this horn? Did he dig up someone's ancestral grave or some relic?"

"And who exactly cut off the Angry Horn and buried it in the forest?"

Char's intuition told him that it was probably those high elves from ancient times again. "So you think you've found a way to surpass the gods, and you're going to try it out on the demon lord first?"

"And what about the other five: envy, greed, sloth, pride, and..." "Could they have buried something in the forest too?"

Charles rubbed his temples. "What kind of mess is this? A 5000-year time capsule?"

"No matter what, I have to find a way to deal with it. It's safest to keep it with me." He stared at the long horn on the table and began to think about how to preserve it.

"Find a wooden barrel and seal it inside," Charles gritted his teeth. "It would be best to also seal some of the Church of the Four Gods' holy water inside the barrel."

"I heard that thing can fight demons."
