After reading the last martial arts manual in the pavilion, Gu Chuanhen deeply realized a truth.

Human abilities have limits. In the context of the main world, a human lifespan is at most a hundred years or so, and within those hundred years, one can only learn a tiny fraction of the martial arts. The more one practices martial arts, the more one realizes the limitations of human abilities.

If one wants to learn all martial arts, aside from the limitations of talent and time, there is only one path to take—to surpass humanity.

However, if one were to learn all martial arts, one would fall into a vicious cycle.

The vicious cycle is that the more martial arts skills one has, the less martial arts skills one possesses.

No matter how many martial arts skills one learns, there are only two fists, two legs, and one torso, not to mention the head. The number of parts that make up the human body is ultimately limited. This is like a limitation, a restriction that prevents a martial artist from using multiple fist techniques simultaneously.

If one were to use every part of the body to perform martial arts, one would need to reach at least the level of a Divine Warrior. At that level, any part of the body could be used as a punch without diminishing its power. However, even so, the number of body parts still limits the number of different punches that can be thrown.

However, for an indestructible martial artist, a single punch can achieve the effect of "destruction," defeating the enemy in one blow. The difference between superiority and inferiority, life and death, lies in just one punch. Such a punch can be said to have transcended most of the "cumbersome routines." It may seem like a simple punch, but the techniques contained within it are incredibly diverse and represent the pinnacle of skill.

However, if the skill level is similar and they are both indestructible, it will take no more than ten moves to determine who is superior and who is dead.

Therefore, Gu Chuanhen concluded that martial arts need to be simplified.

By integrating various martial arts skills into one, discarding the dross and retaining the essence, and selecting the parts that suit him, he can simplify and combine them, ultimately reducing his vast knowledge to a small number or a single skill.

In this way, the more martial arts skills one has, the fewer martial arts skills one actually possesses.

While it's not impossible for someone to be a jack-of-all-trades, they are extremely rare. Most people are like that certain actor surnamed Huang, who is full of paternalistic preaching—a jack-of-all-trades but master of none.

Those exceptional individuals are all geniuses. Talent truly is an insurmountable barrier.

"For an ordinary person like me, it's not necessary to learn and practice all martial arts, but it's best to read and memorize them all so that I have enough knowledge to use for my own purposes." Gu Chuanhen said solemnly as he put the books back on the shelf. After stretching his limbs a little, he saw Xuanhuang Gong waiting for him with tea on the first floor.

Even with my devised quantum speed reading method, it still took Gu Chuanhen nearly a week to record all the martial arts techniques in the pavilion.

During this week, Gu Chuanhen's meals were prepared by the chefs brought by Xuanhuang Gong and delivered by Gu Jieyi.

However, it must be said that Gu Jieyi is indeed worthy of being a martial arts practitioner. She had already finished reading the classic texts long ago and was now sitting opposite Xuanhuang Gong, enjoying the tea that Xuanhuang Gong had brewed for her.

Xuanhuang Gong looked at Gu Jieyi with a slightly strange expression, but ultimately didn't say a word.

Upon learning that Gu Jieyi claimed to be the daughter of Gu Chuanhen, Xuanhuang Gong was visibly stunned for a moment, as if his brain had gone blank.

However, he was ultimately a gentleman (or perhaps he was afraid of hearing anything that went against worldly ethics), so he didn't inquire about it much after he recovered.

He simply waited for Gu Chuanhen to finish reading without disturbing him. Now that Gu Chuanhen had finished reading, he knew it was time to discuss the next steps.

Gu Chuanhen politely cupped his hands and said, "I'm sorry to have troubled you, Lord Xuanhuang, to wait for me for so long."

Liu Xuanhuang waved his hand dismissively: "You're too kind, Master Gu. Martial artists are like gourmets. With so many martial arts classics here, it would indeed be very frustrating if they didn't read them all."

After exchanging pleasantries, Xuanhuang Gong poured tea for Gu Chuanhen and then got down to business.

"During the seven days that you, Master Gu, have been in seclusion, Mr. Fengxian has also recovered a large amount of lost territory, and even launched a counterattack into the Ba Kingdom region single-handedly. We have now taken over the land that you and Mr. Fengxian conquered, but—"

Before Xuanhuang Gong could finish speaking, Gu Chuanhen already knew what Xuanhuang Gong was going to say next.

"But if we want to reunify the entire land of Kyushu, we still need to deal with Cao Mengze, right?"

Xuanhuang Gong nodded upon hearing this: "That is indeed the case."

After sipping some tea to soothe his throat, Liu Xuanhuang continued.

"The current situation is clear. Cao Mengze has also sent us a letter, in which he states that he is preparing to settle things with us at the Chitang River in a month."

But Cao Mengze was not Emperor Longqian after all; he also led 830,000 martial arts students.

My fellow practitioners and I, including Mr. Tianxing, number no more than 50,000, a vast disparity in strength.

Therefore, we hope you can find Mr. Fengxian and bring back the technological and magical design blueprints of the Ba Kingdom. In this way, we can use the Super Machine Martial Arts and the True Essence Martial Arts of Mr. Tianxing and the others to create an equal number of soldiers.

With 830,000 against 50,000, for one member of the Sun-Liu alliance to remain alive and continuously achieve godlike status, they would need to kill an average of 16.6 enemy soldiers to win. But the problem is clearly not that simple to calculate.

Gu Chuanhen was somewhat puzzled: "A martial arts student?"

The two words can be understood separately, but when put together, they only create a sense of utter incomprehension and absurdity.

For example, if the arts and sciences are separated, and then suddenly a martial arts major is added, the plot will suddenly shift to the world of high-level martial arts.

Seeing that Gu Chuanhen was unaware of the situation, Xuanhuang Gong poured him another cup of tea.

"The unique martial arts within Cao Mengze's territory were initially just complex biological martial arts. These martial arts involved using martial arts to induce the mutation of internal organs, giving rise to other organs that would then become the carriers of the martial arts."

For example, Tiger Style Fist can train a person to develop tiger bones and a tiger tail, so that the tiger tail can also be considered an extra limb, making the Tiger Style Fist's killing moves complete.

This is a simple example, but some martial arts can cause people to develop alternative mutated organs with various magical effects, such as flesh growing black armor, super-fast regeneration, elbows producing bone blades, teleportation, hands emitting plasma, and punching ice and fire.

However, Cao Mengze was a prodigy who used this biological martial art to create a technique called "Marriage Divine Skill." This divine ability allows martial arts to hybridize, resulting in an endless cycle of births, from one to two, from two to three, from three to all things.

These 830,000 martial arts students were created by Cao Mengze using a certain martial art to replicate the strongest physical form. Each of them possessed the "Marriage Divine Skill," and upon entering the academy, they studied subjects such as astronomy and geography, integrating what they learned into their own martial arts to create hybrid techniques. They then continued to learn these hybrid martial arts on their own, repeating this cycle endlessly.

Their martial arts skills will only evolve through continuous learning.

Therefore, it's less about people and more about a constantly evolving student-style martial arts.

Gu Chuanhen glanced at the various martial arts manuals in the pavilion, then looked at Xuanhuang Gong's serious expression, his mind filled with thoughts of martial arts practitioners.

"The art style is completely different now, okay?" Gu Chuanhen couldn't help but say.

Xuanhuang Gong looked embarrassed: "Actually, in terms of art style, it's like different accents every three miles and different customs every five miles. The art styles of our Super Machine Martial Arts and True Yuan Martial Arts are completely different. The art style of True Yuan Martial Arts is more like martial arts but transcends martial arts."

"There are more experts?" Bajiquan became somewhat interested.

The Great Sage Pi Gua's lips curled slightly: "Gu Chuanhen, ask him what True Essence Martial Arts are like."

He deliberately refrained from using his divine endowment of "omniscience," maintaining an air of mystery and curiosity.

"Alright, Master Xuanhuang, could you please introduce Mr. Sun and his fellow martial arts of True Essence?" Gu Chuanhen asked, taking a sip of tea.

Liu Xuanhuang nodded slightly.

"Speaking of True Essence Martial Arts, it is indeed a very powerful martial art."

Initially, one must train the muscles, bones, and skin externally, using the most and greatest external martial arts to temper oneself, while simultaneously incorporating internal martial arts to strengthen the internal organs. It can be said that both internal and external styles must be taken into account in order to achieve an indestructible state.

Then, using this powerful physique and indomitable spirit as a furnace and cauldron, one can ignite the convergence of body and mind, thus stepping into the realm of internal cultivation.

Once ignited, the internal energy cultivation is complete, and the initial stage of True Essence Martial Arts begins.

This breath is called "acquired illusory qi". It is not true qi, but rather a kind of false qi that can only affect oneself. This false qi cannot be used in magic, so it cannot be considered one of the three treasures of "essence, qi and spirit" in terms of qi. In fact, we have not yet found a way to "refine the qi of the three treasures".

Even our super-mechanical martial arts merely employ a different approach, using our inherent "Three Treasures Qi" to stimulate our own bioelectricity, giving this bioelectricity a unique characteristic: it can create super-mechanical devices based on blueprints. We call this an "electrocardiogram," and then use this electrocardiogram to develop template-based minor martial arts techniques—weapon growth—thereby achieving progress in super-mechanical martial arts.

"Master Xuanhuang, I'd also like to learn about the Super Mechanic Martial Arts, but could we please stay on topic and finish discussing the True Essence Martial Arts?" Gu Chuanhen asked politely.

Liu Xuanhuang didn't put on airs, but was a little apologetic, saying embarrassedly, "Ah, I'm sorry, when it comes to martial arts, my thoughts tend to wander. So let's get back to True Essence Martial Arts."

"You're too kind, Lord Xuanhuang." "Not at all."

After taking a sip of tea, Xuanhuang Gong continued his introduction.

"Although it is essentially fake qi, it is called 'false qi' because the term 'fake qi' sounds rather unpleasant."

Furthermore, after allowing the "acquired qi" to flow throughout the entire body, making it 100% filled with it, use this qi as a furnace to refine the body, mind, and spirit. Once the "two treasures of spirit" are refined to perfection, then perform the work of combining the "two treasures of spirit" with the acquired qi. After igniting a Samadhi fire, the "acquired qi" can be transformed from a false to a true form.

Although such a genuine object cannot be considered one of the treasures of "Qi", it possesses the characteristics of "truth" and is therefore called "innate true essence".

If we are to explain what this "truth" is, then we must mention the realm of True Essence Martial Arts.

The ethereal energy can only be sensed by outsiders but cannot be seen or touched; it cannot affect anything other than oneself.

However, True Essence can influence the outside world. After reaching True Essence, one must begin to comprehend the true meaning of martial arts. This true meaning is formed by the fusion of the strongest martial arts concepts in the mind of a True Essence martial artist. This true meaning can more effectively influence the outside world.

Once the true meaning is achieved, it must be expanded further, transforming one's strongest martial arts philosophy into the embodiment of what one considers the strongest martial art; this is the manifestation of the martial arts path.

Once the martial arts Dharma body is perfected, it is expanded to the point where the entire world acknowledges that one's martial arts are the strongest. At this stage, it becomes the standardized martial arts divine power – the Heaven-Opening Martial Domain.

This kind of Heaven-Opening Martial Domain requires releasing one's innate true essence and merging it with one's own true intent and Dharma form, transforming it into a small world solely under one's control. Its size depends on the martial artist's strength, but the commonality is that within this Heaven-Opening Martial Domain, the martial artist is a born saint within this world, or an existence like a mortal immortal on earth.

Gu Chuanhen's expression was quite interesting, the interesting part being that he simply didn't know how to make a sarcastic remark.

"Then what about Super Mech Martial Arts?" Gu Jieyi asked curiously.

She listened attentively the whole time, but after hearing about the amazing features of the two unique martial arts techniques, she couldn't help but become curious about the Super Mech Martial Arts.

Although she is a newborn, she is still a martial artist at heart.

"Ah, our super-mechanical martial arts are nothing to mention, they can only be described as having some unique features," Xuanhuang Gong said modestly, extending his left hand.

In Xuanhuang Gong's left hand, a flash of lightning crackled, like a silver snake dancing in the air.

Gu Chuanhen couldn't help but recall the time he was struck by lightning by Xiang Bofu, but Xuanhuang Gong's lightning was much more powerful than Xiang Bofu's.

Xuanhuang Gong then recounted the history of the past in detail.

"Many years ago, when the Tang Dynasty ruled society, according to historical records, the use of electricity began in the Tang Dynasty."

At that time, the Holy Tang had already carried out super machine modifications, but the modifications were all done on some disabled people. However, it was later discovered that after these disabled people had mechanical prosthetics containing electrical energy combined with their bodies, this external electrical energy merged with their own bioelectricity, stimulating the [One Treasure of Qi] and the two treasures of spirit. In this way, the electrocardiogram was born.

Subsequent research revealed that as electrocardiograms gradually replace the body's own bioelectricity, even without martial arts skills, a person can gradually acquire a physique comparable to that of an indestructible being.

Thus, the electrocardiogram (ECG) system began to spread, and everyone became an ECG warrior, making the Holy Tang Dynasty even greater.

However, the Tang Dynasty lasted for four thousand years, but at that time, a military general under the emperor who held the most military power and regarded the emperor as his father launched a rebellion, and one impregnable fortress after another fell to the rebel army.

Amidst the uncertainty of the situation, loyal subjects of the Holy Tang Empire established their base in the northwest and supported the crown prince's ascension to the throne. Although the rebellion was quelled, the post-war decline was far from its former glory.

Like a tiger fallen into the plains, the powerful alien races that worship the four great gods and Buddhas—the Great Cruel Heavenly Asura King, the Pure Maitreya of Universal Purification, the Wise and Wonderful Heavenly Lord of Many Treasures, and the Mother Goddess of Thousand Forms of Bliss—are already eyeing the territory of the Holy Tang Dynasty with covetous intent. They are using their doctrines and military force to erode the Holy Tang's territory, and the Holy Tang is continuing its decline.

The Holy Tang Dynasty thus disintegrated amidst internal and external turmoil, transforming into a fragmented and chaotic world. In this chaotic world, not a tenth of cultural relics or classic texts survived.

It wasn't until the rise of Emperor Taizu of the Song Dynasty, who restored order to the land and purged heretical religions, that the new nation was rebuilt and a golden age of peace and prosperity began. It was during this time that the project was restarted, allowing the ECG system to regain its former glory. However, compared to the Tang Dynasty, the ECG system had not yet returned to its peak.

At that time, the Song Dynasty revered Taoism and suppressed Buddhism, and the electrocardiogram system existed only as an additional feature. However, this electrocardiogram system was integrated into the Taoist practices of the Shenxiao Sect, making it superior to the Shenxiao Sect.

After the Shenxiao sect incorporated the electrocardiogram system, various Taoist schools discussed it together, and a variety of ideas blossomed.

It was precisely through this exploration that Taoist martial arts pioneered the concept of "using the false to cultivate the true," leading the Song Dynasty to its glory. It was through this that Master Tianxing attained enlightenment in True Essence Martial Arts.

However, the Dao Song dynasty lasted for three thousand years before being destroyed by a foreign race. Now, it is uncertain whether the glory of the electrocardiogram system can ever be regained. After all, it could be powered before, but now? Heh, we'll have to rebuild the power grid.

We inherited the legacy of the Tang and Song dynasties, but only salvaged and unearthed a small number of fragments. With these few fragments, we pioneered the Super Mech Martial Arts.

Xuanhuang Gong, his face filled with helplessness and regret, withdrew his hand from the source of the electric shock.

The ancients said that he wanted to speak but hesitated, and yet he still wanted to speak.

He had a lot to complain about, but he didn't know where to begin.
