The corner gives the wooden martial arts master, whose martial arts are equivalent to a harem.
Chapter 58: Astounding Wisdom!
"What should I call you?" Fang Zhi asked curiously.
Although Gu Jieyi did not speak, the look in her eyes showed that she was actually very curious.
"Three is a wonderful number. The heavens have three wonders: the sun, the moon, and the stars. Humans have three treasures: essence, energy, and spirit. The Taoist Three Pure Ones also have three patriarchs: Yuqing, Taiqing, and Shangqing. Therefore, according to my idea, my corresponding 'Taoist body' can be called the Primordial Immortal Yuqing Taoist Body."
Simply put, it's the Jade Purity Dao Body.
"The beginning of one, the origin of all paths, perfectly aligns with my vision of embracing all things and unifying them, then using one to create all laws."
Ancient legends, naturally, would not keep secrets like a riddle.
"Quite the boast."
Upon hearing Gu Chuanhen's words, the Great Sage quipped sarcastically.
He then spoke again with a serious expression.
"However, in order for your internal energy to connect with your Dao body, your internal energy should also have a corresponding martial art. Have you thought of a name for it?"
"The Primordial Golden Chapter," Gu Chuanhen immediately uttered the name he had already chosen.
Fang Zhi raised an eyebrow after hearing this.
"According to your idea, humans possess three treasures: essence, energy, and spirit. You chose Yuqing for the part corresponding to the physical body, so the parts corresponding to the mind and the 'energy' that one can control in the future should be Shangqing and Taiqing?"
"That's still a long way off. We can start creating it slowly later. For now, let's finish deducing the Dao Body and the Cultivation Body. After all, what we're about to face is a thousand percent more difficult."
After Gu Chuan finished speaking his words of resentment, he sat cross-legged.
Gu Jie asked in a low voice, "Mother, since any posture can be used to deduce this, why does Father insist on sitting cross-legged?"
"That's because sitting cross-legged is a very suitable posture for this situation. You can't possibly be squatting when you create a divine skill, can you?" Fang realized that my words, though rough, were not wrong.
However, after saying that, I realized that I should now lend a helping hand to Gu Chuanhen.
She leaped into the air, and immediately shrank into a ball of blazing light, streaking across the sky like a meteor before disappearing into Gu Chuanhen's body.
Gu Jieyi followed suit and returned to the body of Gu Chuanhen.
The three martial arts techniques spontaneously flowed from within the body of the ancient master, providing assistance and support.
Then, Gu Chuanhen slowly began to speak.
"I believe I possess extraordinary wisdom to deduce the martial arts and cultivation methods of the Primordial Golden Chapter and the Daoist body of the Jade Purity Daoist Body."
The supreme domineering thought is driven by the power of the mind, and in this process of contemplation, he has already attained astonishing wisdom!
With a clear mind, all complex problems seemed to be simplified like elementary school math problems.
All the knowledge and understanding gained in this world flows slowly within the mind and brain.
Initially, the changes originated from the body's own bioelectricity.
The basis of bioelectricity comes from the potential difference across the cell membrane, namely membrane potential.
The membrane potential at rest is typically tens of millivolts, negative inside and positive outside, and is called the "resting potential".
When the cell membrane is damaged, the membrane potential decreases or is lost. When excitable cells such as neurons or muscle cells are stimulated and conduct impulses, their membrane potential changes drastically, temporarily becoming positive inside and negative outside. This is called "action potential".
At this moment, the cells within Gu Chuanhen's body have begun an unprecedented and chaotic rotation.
This rotation does not mean that the cells have started to rotate, but rather it is a cycle between movement and stillness.
The internal negative and external positive, and the internal positive and external negative, one moving and one still, seem to form a Tai Chi diagram of the body's own movement and stillness in the self-rotation, and this self-rotation forms another corresponding Tai Chi with the cell potential next to it.
Originating from the body's bioelectricity, it transforms into a dense array of tiny Tai Chi diagrams, which then cluster together to form a constantly changing, seemingly rotating Tai Chi.
Within this Tai Chi, ordinary bioelectricity crisscrosses along the body's meridians, spreading throughout the entire body.
"Is this a meridian chart? These bioelectric currents are actually using the human body's meridians as pathways?" I was slightly surprised.
The Great Sage Pi Gua observed carefully: "It's not enough. The current bioelectricity is still within the normal range. It's just that the amount is greater than that of ordinary people. Only those who are indestructible or have extraordinary talents like Xiang Bofu can withstand such a lethal dose."
"So how can bioelectricity evolve into electrocardiogram (ECG)?"
Gu Jieyi, still puzzled, asked a question.
Indeed, simply increasing the dosage cannot transform bioelectricity into electrocardiogram. Xuanhuang Gong once said that electrocardiogram is born when the body's own bioelectricity is influenced by the mysterious Qi of the Three Treasures.
What Gu Chuanhen wanted to do was to use his own "Qi" treasure to influence the bioelectricity in his body.
However, the martial arts path of preserving both life and health did not deliberately pursue the traces of "qi," or rather, the concept of "qi" in the main world is not that kind of mysterious self-energy, and the aspect of "true qi internal force" as a blue bar has never been confirmed.
How can he do that?
"Amazing wisdom! Open your mouth! Tell me! What exactly is this 'qi' theory in this world?!"
With a roar from Gu Chuanhen, his extraordinary wisdom and innate innate intelligence merged into his brain, transforming it into a brilliant mind.
Such wisdom has enabled him to utilize the martial arts of self-cultivation and inner observation.
First, there are the five internal organs and six bowels, as well as the meridians and blood vessels, but this internal observation is like a microscope, constantly adjusting the magnification.
His "perspective" is constantly sinking, sinking, sinking.
Diving down from the surface of the organ, he saw the cells that make up the organ.
Then the perspective penetrated the cell membrane, reached the cytoplasm, and then witnessed the cell nucleus.
But the microscopic world continues to advance.
Finally, he saw the double helix.
This wonderful structure is the fundamental element of human life, and it is as beautiful and magical as the intertwined bodies of Fuxi and Nuwa.
Furthermore, Gu Chuanhen already had a feeling, and his intelligent brain was fully activated, with knowledge from the books he had read in the past to broaden his horizons flashing through his mind.
The Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic (Suwen) states, "From the beginning of Qi, transformation occurs; when Qi disperses, it takes form."
This statement indicates that Qi is the driving force of life.
The innate vital energy is inherited from the parents and stored in the kidneys, which governs growth and development.
Acquired Qi is formed through the transformation of food essence by the spleen and stomach and the combination of Qi with the clear Qi from the lungs, thus maintaining daily physiological activities.
The intelligence is constantly being combined, and it seems that a thesis will be generated.
If we say that innate Qi is genes, it doesn't seem like an exaggeration, because genes are like a string of codes that act on the human body. They control the entire condition of the human body and its instinctive reactions.
An infant's instinctive reaction is to drink milk. The oral and anal stages are also instinctive reactions. Through eating, drinking, and excretion, they obtain nutrition to survive and grow into adulthood. This is the acquired Qi (vital energy).
"Oh! I get it! The energy derived from the transformation of bioelectricity in the electrocardiogram is actually a superpower from our genes!"
The addition of this astonishing wisdom made Gu Chuanhen understand what the so-called "Qi" treasure in this world actually referred to.
Then, he understood how to get the Qi Treasure moving. He also discovered the physical phenomena within his body.
The bioelectric cells, which combine movement and stillness, generate electricity to a greater extent, and under this power generation, the cells have long since become conductors.
The magnetic effect of electric current is generated within the body, which is a victory for physics. The principle of electromagnetism allows the ancient Chinese human magnetic field to expand outward while simultaneously exploring inward.
This magnetic field has reached the genetic level.
The anticipated gene mutation did not occur.
However, Gu Chuanhen could see that the genetic sequence of this body seemed to be activated by electromagnetic fields in certain parts.
"That's right. Magnetism itself cannot directly change gene sequences, because changes in gene sequences are gene mutations. Only high-energy ionizing radiation such as X-rays and gamma rays, or specific chemical substances that directly damage or change the chemical structure of DNA molecules can cause gene mutations."
Magnetic fields are a type of non-ionizing radiation, and their energy is far lower than that of ionizing radiation, which is insufficient to directly break DNA chains or change base pairing.
but--
Magnetic fields can influence gene expression, regulating which genes are "turned on" or "turned off," thereby affecting cell function and the physiological state of an organism.
The expression of these genes adapts to the electromagnetic symbiosis of their own electromagnetic field between switching on and off, and this electromagnetic symbiosis is further enhanced in the parts of gene expression that are turned on.
The body is also constantly undergoing changes. During gene expression, cells such as fibroblasts begin to synthesize and secrete endonucleases, and pancreatic cells produce DNase I (pancreatic deoxyribonuclease)...
Endonucleases can cleave DNA at specific sites, breaking genes into smaller fragments. Pancreatic deoxyribonucleases, on the other hand, participate in chromatin degradation during apoptosis.
In short, this series of changes stemming from within oneself is a prelude and a prelude—a prelude to transforming one's own bioelectricity into cardiac electricity.
Subsequently, the energy reaction appears to gradually approach high energy levels.
It's true that a magnetic field doesn't have enough energy to directly break DNA chains or change base pairings, but what if it had enough force to make a brick fly?
As Gu Chuanhen sat cross-legged in the open space, the electric current around his body began to grow from spontaneous static electricity to a gradually more violent current, and then the electric currents danced like silver snakes and twisted into pythons.
In the end, the python transformed into a dragon.
The silvery-white substance had a smooth, lustrous texture and covered the body surface like a gentle breeze, before slowly sinking into the body. It didn't look like electricity or lightning, but the feeling it gave was exactly the same.
However, compared to lightning, this kind of lightning is controllable by the human body.
Thus, the ancient legend of the Heart-Piercing Electrification Technique was achieved.
The electrical impulses generated within the body begin to fill the three orifices on the spine; this is a process of refining and charging. This corresponds to the profound understanding gained from the Great Sage's "Splitting the Heavenly Sword" technique.
This kind of refining and charging still requires some time. Gu Chuanhen is working on two parallel lines to begin breaking through to the True Essence Martial Arts.
The essence of Zhenyuan martial arts is the convergence of body and mind to produce a false acquired qi. Then, this acquired qi is cultivated together with the body and mind to transform the false into the true, allowing the acquired qi to become the innate true qi with 'true nature'.
The ancient legend of Gu Chuanhen's life and death perfectly corresponds to both body and mind.
"Outrageous wisdom! Move again!" Gu Chuanhen roared once more.
The martial arts path of preserving both life and health has also begun to take further steps, progressing in tandem like a barrage of arrows, advancing bravely and diligently forward.
How can we achieve a connection between body and mind? Compared to the electrocardiogram (ECG) system, overcoming this hurdle seems much simpler.
The body and mind are constantly intersecting, because the mind resides within the body.
What the mind thinks and what the brain thinks actually refer to the same thing, because what the mind is thinking is what the brain is thinking. Therefore, the mind and brain are collectively referred to as the mind and brain.
Just like the thought of wanting to drink water, which causes the brain to perform complex and intricate calculations involving a vast array of neural processes, but these complexities are simplified into instinct.
Instinct compels us to pour water, pick up a glass, and then drink. The incredibly complex internal processes manifest themselves in these three simple steps.
Do what you want to do, say what you want to say. This is the essence of the "intersection" of body and mind.
This is a state of unity of knowledge and action. It is also a carefree state of mind where one speaks the truth and does what one wants, regardless of others' opinions. In Taoism, this can be called a True Person. In Buddhism, it is also the concept of freedom and ease, which naturally leads to a high-ranking monk or Zen master.
Unity of knowledge and action leads to freedom and ease. This is the essence of the "intersection" of body and mind.
So how can we bring our mind and body together and then ignite a breath of acquired vital energy?
With a burst of inspiration, Gu Chuanhen's eyes shone with a light as bright as a powerful flashlight.
He understood again.
"Acquired deficiency of qi is not the same as the biological energy of 'qi,' nor is it the innate gene in the electrocardiogram system."
This is a metaphysical concept derived from the Taoist philosophical mindset, just as the Yin spirit can only wander and cannot influence the outside world, while the Yang spirit can pluck a flower.
This kind of acquired true energy is essentially a conceptual idea.
The vehicle for this thought is the body and mind, and the force that the mind wants the body to unleash in a punch. In the main world, this force can achieve the external force of swirling airflow, while in this world it is Nalan Yuanshu's external force.
Thoughts reside within a vessel; once released, they can influence sentient beings.
When the thought goes a step further, it can influence inanimate objects that do not possess a mind. It is the true meaning of martial arts that can influence matter. Taking the true meaning of martial arts a step further, it can manifest and have a greater impact on the material world. And so on, until the martial domain opens up the world and changes the material world on a large scale.
This True Essence Martial Arts is similar in principle to my Life-Saving Martial Arts.
The key is not in igniting it, but in believing that you have generated acquired qi and that this acquired qi has transformed into innate true essence.
The so-called ignition is a mental suggestion that involves condensing a point continuously until it reaches its limit, making the martial artist believe that condensation is ignition. Through this belief, the acquired qi is formed and then becomes the innate true essence.
They use self-deception to cultivate truth through falsehood, and then refine the falsehood into truth.
With a sudden realization, an invisible yet palpable 'illusory' energy arose within Gu Chuanhen's already formidable physique and spiritual realm.
Furthermore, this ethereal energy seeped out of the body again.
And after leaving the body, it transforms into pure white smoke that rises into the sky, resembling the texture of water and fire.
True Essence Martial Arts, achieved.
Having achieved these two accomplishments, Gu Chuanhen began to work on creating a martial arts body, eventually ascending to the Jade Purity Dao Body.
