Chapter 377 One kick sends the Marshal flying in despair

As soon as the marshal finished speaking, Luo Fei took action.

He leaped into the air, stretched out his hands, grabbed the marshal's shoulder with one hand and the adjutant's arm with the other, lifted the two of them off the bridge floor, and turned to fly towards the porthole that had lost its glass.

Luo Fei carried the two of them lightly through the window and landed on the grass.

He released his grip on the adjutant's hand, and before the adjutant could react, he lost his balance and stumbled to the ground with a thud.

Seeing this, Chu Yue immediately led her team to quickly surround him. She ran in front and stopped abruptly when she reached Luo Fei. Her hand, which had been on the holster, slowly moved away, and her gaze swept over Luo Fei's hands and the person on the ground, her eyes filled with vigilance.

Her team members quickly spread out behind her, forming a tight semi-circular encirclement, their dark gun barrels pointing downwards, ready to respond to any emergencies.

One of the team members stepped forward and, with swift and clean movements, pressed his knee firmly against the adjutant's back, pinning him to the ground.

The adjutant's face was suddenly buried in the grass, letting out a muffled groan as the grass blades were pressed tightly against the ground.

Luo Fei pointed at the adjutant who was pinned to the ground and said in a deep voice, "You guys keep an eye on this one for now, we'll deal with him together when I get back."

Chu Yue glanced at the disheveled adjutant on the ground, then quickly turned her gaze to Luo Fei, her brows furrowing slightly as she asked with a hint of confusion, "Where are you going?"

Luo Fei did not answer, but kept holding the marshal with one hand. The next second, the two figures disappeared from the grass.

The adjutant was flipped over from the grass, lying face up, with a piece of grass covered in dirt sticking out of his mouth in a disheveled state.

He didn't speak, but glanced at the spot where Luo Fei and the marshal had been standing with a complicated look in his eyes, which were filled with resentment and calculation.

Then, he slowly propped himself up, shook his shoulders which were numb from being gripped, and with a little effort, easily broke free of the hand that was pressing down on him. He patted the grass clippings and dirt off his uniform, a hint of disdain in his eyes.

He moved his neck again, making a slight "crackling" sound, and rotated his wrist, slightly opening his eight fingers and then gently closing them, as if he was loosening his muscles and bones.

He raised his head, his gaze sweeping across Chu Yue's face, then slowly passing over the serious-looking team members behind her. A slight twitch appeared at the corner of his mouth, revealing a contemptuous smile.

He muttered to himself: Luo Fei was too careless. According to the intelligence he had, these Earthlings, like ants, were utterly powerless against his overwhelming strength.

As long as Chu Yue and the others are subdued, they can be used as bargaining chips to negotiate with Luo Fei when he returns, and Luo Fei can release them and the marshal. It's an easy thing to do.

Thinking of this, he took a deep breath, a fierce glint flashed in his eyes, and then he rushed out with a clear target: Chu Yue, who was standing at the very front.

He wasn't one to consider taking detours; he moved incredibly fast, and the ground beneath his feet cracked open with his impact, leaving behind a trail of messy footprints as the grass was pressed into deep dents.

However, just as he was about to touch Chu Yue, his body was suddenly sent flying backward.

Chu Yue did not take a running start, did not gather her strength, and did not even show the slightest fluctuation in her eyes.

She simply raised her right foot calmly, then kicked forward with all her might, the kick landing squarely on the adjutant's chest.

There was a brief contact between the soles of her feet and the adjutant's chest. Though brief, the force spread outward from the point of contact, quickly coursing along the contours of his ribs throughout his body.

Then, the adjutant was suddenly sent flying backward in the direction he had come from, even faster than when he had rushed towards Chu Yue.

His body tumbled uncontrollably through the air for a full circle before landing heavily on the grass seven or eight meters away. He rolled several more times on the ground before finally coming to a stop, looking utterly disheveled.

Finally, he lay on his side on the grass, his body slightly curled up from the excruciating pain, one hand pressed painfully against his chest, the other hand supporting him on the ground, trying to struggle to his feet.

He opened his mouth, took a deep breath, and his mind was blank.

Chu Yue glanced at him coldly, then waved her hand to the side, signaling her team members to take him away.

Two team members immediately stepped forward, bent down, grabbed one of the adjutant's arms, and dragged him up from the grass.

After dragging his feet two or three steps on the ground, he finally managed to find a foothold and stand up again, his heels carving shallow grooves in the grass.

He was supported by two team members and staggered towards the camp.

Meanwhile, it is 7,000 light-years away from Earth.

Luo Fei and the Marshal appeared out of thin air in the center of the bridge of the mothership that Luo Fei had sent to the home planet of Calda.

After landing, the marshal swayed slightly. His gaze did not fall on Luo Fei, nor did he look inside the bridge. Instead, he looked directly through the porthole at the huge planet that was slowly rotating outside.

It was a chilling, dark gray planet, its surface covered with crisscrossing, dark red lines, like solidified magma seeping from a crack that had been violently torn open from within.

The patterns extend from the planet's equator to the poles, like a meticulously sculpted network of trenches filled with mysterious dark matter.

The planet is surrounded by several huge orbital rings, with structures shimmering with metallic luster embedded in them, and countless points of light moving rapidly along the orbital rings.

Further away, several irregularly shaped satellites floated silently, their surfaces covered with densely packed impact craters and metallic reflective spots, like countless tiny metal fragments embedded in a rock that had been roughly chiseled.

The marshal stood blankly in front of the porthole, his gaze seemingly piercing through the orbital rings and satellites, fixed on the widest and most conspicuous dark red crack on the planet's surface.

His mouth was slightly open, and the color of his lips rapidly faded within a few seconds, as if something important had been instantly drawn from his body, making him almost unable to stand.

His voice was as soft as a breeze, trembling with disbelief: "This isn't true."

He slammed his palm against the porthole glass, his fingertips tracing the edge of the dark red crack as if a child were sketching the shape of a river.

"Impossible...this is impossible..."

He kept muttering to himself, his eyes filled with despair and collapse.
