"Broken Arrow" rushed over anxiously from behind.

"I'm fine. These ratmen should all be dead, right?"

"There might still be some in the cabin; let's check."

By this time, the "goat" had recovered and rushed to the logging camp.

"Are all the enemies dead? They were killed so quickly?"

"Five are dead." Linsel gripped his longsword tightly, the tension in his expression easing slightly as he killed the berserk ratman.

Amidst the commotion, a rustling sound came from inside the cabin. Then, the wooden door creaked open, and Lindsay saw a ratman emerge from behind it!

The rat-man, wielding a short sword, suddenly thrust it at Linse.

Lindsay's [Danger Sense] activated.

The moment the opponent rushed out the door to prepare to stab, Lindsay's Brand sword slashed downwards, severing one of the ratman's arms and causing blood to gush out instantly.

Upon seeing this, "Broken Arrow" immediately pounced on the ratman, thrusting his dagger toward the man's chest.

The rat-man was still in shock at having its arm severed and had no time to dodge when the "Broken Arrow" dagger pierced its chest, causing its body to go limp.

"Brinan, that's efficient."

"Broken Arrow" brought the monster down: "Where did these rat-men come from, from the Twilight Forest?"

"It should be." "Goat" was looking around the logging camp, searching for any possible enemies.

"There are a lot of monsters in the Twilight Forest. If it weren't for the high-level adventurers controlling them, if they all ran out, it would surely be a catastrophe."

"How is it controlled?" Lindsay asked.

"I don't know about that. I just heard it from someone in the guild when I was younger."

"Broken Arrow," dagger in hand, approached the door of the wooden hut: "There shouldn't be any ratmen left inside."

Next up is the ferocious ratman's monster abilities.

[Sensitive Smell+: Perception +1, the range within which you can smell unique nearby scents has increased]

[Adrenaline: You can activate adrenaline in your body, temporarily increasing agility by 2. During activation, pain is greatly reduced, but fatigue will increase after the activation effect ends.]

[Rat-like Giant Tail: A rat-like tail grows from your buttocks, which you can control to swing and coil.]

Both [Sensitive Smell+] and [Adrenaline] felt good.

After much deliberation, Lindsay finally chose the new monster ability [Adrenaline].

I feel that this, when combined with the existing monster abilities [Undying+] and [Skeleton Strike], could be quite useful.

After all, using these monster abilities will inevitably cause pain, and [adrenaline] will reduce the pain, allowing you to be immune to pain for a period of time, continue fighting, and also provide an agility bonus.

14. Rat Man [A Keen Sense of Smell]

Description: Threat level 1.3. A humanoid monster, timid and evil by nature, preferring to use lightweight weapons and equipment. It cooperates with its own kind in combat and speaks a rat-like language. It often appears in dark underground areas or on cloudy days.

15 Ferocious Ratmen [Adrenaline]

Description: Threat level 1.8. A variant of the ratmen, capable of activating its own hormones in combat to seize the initiative. Derived from a ratman mutation.

Back at the north gate of Linchui Town, a dozen workers who were preparing to carry out reconstruction work were already waiting for them at the gate.

"Goat" gestured to the leader of the workers: "The monsters in the logging camp have been cleared out. We'll take you there."

Linsset waved to the workers: "Get on the carriage. We'll protect you all, there won't be any problems."

The workers then calmed down, and then, the three wagons carrying Linssey and the workers set off for the logging camp.
