On the other side, Xiao Liu returned to Dilraba's side with a gloomy expression.

"What's wrong?" Reba looked at her curiously. "What did Teacher Su ask you to do?"

"He asked me to sign Mao Xiaotong."

"What? Doesn't she want to?"

Xiao Liu slumped back in her chair, hands tucked into her pockets, and huffed, "She's alright, but her boyfriend is a real piece of work. He's got to be the male and female lead right off the bat. It's hilarious."

"There are people like that? What do you say then?"

"Of course I mocked him mercilessly. You didn't see how he looked back then. He was trembling all over after I scolded him!" Little Liu proudly raised his chin, his tail practically sticking up to the sky.

Dilraba was amused by her adorable antics and giggled, her big eyes curving into crescents. "Wow! Sister Liu, you're amazing!"

"Of course! I'm President An's most trusted lieutenant!" Xiao Liu was showing off when her phone vibrated in her pocket. She took it out, glanced at it, and immediately waved it in front of Dilraba.

"Look, Mao Xiaotong sent a message."

"Huh? She's signing a contract?"

"Yes," Xiao Liu replied with a message, looking down. "I'll have her come to the company tomorrow."

As soon as she sent the message, she hugged Reba tightly as if she had been electrocuted, her expression solemn. "Reba, don't worry, even if she comes, she'll only be Consort Mao. You are the Empress, the number one woman in the company."

Dilraba was both amused and exasperated by Xiao Liu's antics. "Sister Xiao Liu, please, could you please stop using the term 'Number One Sister'?"

Su Liu's audition is progressing smoothly. Jiang Shuying, who was previously recommended by CTS, has also arrived. Her agent immediately tried to build rapport with Li Fei as soon as she entered the room. Even though the two families are only nodding acquaintances, she managed to make it seem like they were "close friends across three generations."

Li Fei was well-versed in these kinds of social situations, and in the end, he quietly turned her away.

After most of the day had passed, Su Liu had seen many familiar faces, such as Gulnazar, Wan Qian, and Yang Rong. Everything else was fine; even those attracted to Su Liu's handsomeness managed to maintain their composure and retain their last shred of dignity.

But what's wrong with Nazha? Her eyes seemed glued to Su Liu. When she was asked to act scared, she didn't see any fear or apprehension in her eyes except for Su Liu. Instead, her reluctant look as she left was perfectly captured.

That familiar look instantly triggered Su Liu's trauma from being pursued by countless beautiful girls in Europe. He subconsciously shivered.

"By the way, hasn't Zhao Liying arrived yet?" He turned to look at Chen Zhixi.

"Her agent said she had to attend a brand event and would arrive later."

"Quite the airs."

"She's really popular right now."

"Never mind," Su Liu closed the documents in his hand, "Tell her she doesn't need to come."

"Have you chosen the female lead?"

Su Liu looked over at Xiao Liu, who was frantically shaking his phone across half the room, giving him a "done" look.

"Let's choose her."

The female lead for "Knives Out" has been decided.

The afternoon was for the audition for the role of "murderer".

The process didn't go smoothly from the start. Several candidates were eliminated in a row, whether they were well-known or current students; not a single one was suitable.

The character of "The Killer" is a typical spoiled rich kid, and Chris Evans, the original actor, captured the arrogance and nonchalance of the elite class perfectly. Slumped in an expensive chair, his eyes conveyed a contemptuous "you people are all trash" attitude.

So far, everyone's acting has been incredibly forceful, as if they wanted to scream "I'm the villain!" Their ruthlessness and arrogance are all superficial; instead of portraying the refined elegance of a wealthy young man, they seem like petty thugs who've found a fortune and are rushing to a nightclub.

"Next." Su Liu rubbed her eyes; she was really tired after a whole day.

The door was pushed open, and the young man who entered was a sight to behold—clean, neat, and exuding a refreshing aura.

"Hello teachers, my name is Li Xian, and I am currently a junior at Beijing Film Academy."

"Li Xian, right?" Chen Zhixi flipped through his resume and casually asked, "What do you think is the most essential characteristic of the character 'Lu Zerui'?"

Li Xian paused for a few seconds, then said calmly, "I think it's because he doesn't care. Because he has too much, he has an almost pathological indifference towards law, morality, and even family ties. His evil isn't for survival, but for fun, or rather, to maintain the status quo as a matter of course."

After hearing his answer, Su Liu remained calm and composed, even nodding slightly, appearing unfathomable.

In Chen Zhixi and Li Fei's eyes, this was called "the scrutiny of a genius." But in Su Liu's heart, he was muttering to himself.

"Hmm, I see. So that's what this character is like. 'Indifferent' and 'morbidly cold-hearted'—this guy put it really well."

"Director Su?" Chen Zhixi called out to remind him when he was still lost in thought.

"Oh," Su Liu snapped out of her daze, pointing to the chair placed there to simulate the scene, "Let's act out a scene."

Li Xian's topic was: At the scene of the dispute over his grandfather's inheritance, the whole family was blaming him, but he already knew that no one, including himself, would get a single penny.

Li Xian nodded, but did not start immediately. Instead, he closed his eyes and adjusted his breathing.

When he opened his eyes again, his entire demeanor changed instantly. He wasn't angry, nor did he rush to defend himself. Instead, he slowly walked to the chair and sank into it comfortably and rudely, like a lump of mud.

He crossed his legs, a faint sneer playing on his lips, his gaze sweeping across the empty space in front of him as if a group of repulsive relatives were truly sitting there.

Go eat shit.

He uttered the line in a lighthearted tone, then pointed lightly: "You go eat shit too, you go eat shit too."

Su Liu was very satisfied with his performance, but in order to maintain the composure of a genius, he still had to pretend to be calm.

"Director Su, how is it?" Li Fei asked.

"You acted very well."

"That?"

*Bang!* Su Liu slammed his hand on the table, pointing at Li Xian like Ash throwing a Poké Ball. "It's you! I won't say anything like 'go back and wait for our call.' A real man should be straightforward!"

Why? Why are we so excited?!

Li Xian was completely confused about the situation, but he knew he couldn't just stand there blankly, so he immediately stammered, "Thank...thank you, Director!"

"How was it! Did you feel my enthusiasm?!"

Although Su Liu was standing still, Li Xian felt as if he had already closed in on him. Such talent! To be able to speak so eloquently and logically.

"I...I felt it," he answered instinctively.

"If you feel it, then sign a contract with our Revitalization Culture!"
