Chapter 90 Chen Si's Angry Outburst

Most reputable talent agencies explicitly prohibit, or even include in contracts, their artists from dating, especially those within the same agency.

The reason is very simple: romantic relationships directly affect commercial value.

Idols, popular stars, young actors, fan base, endorsements, and casting decisions largely rely on the "single persona."

Once you start dating, your popularity, business opportunities, and public image may all drop.

Dating someone from the same company carries even greater risks.

Dating interferes with filming and scheduling. Breakups turn people into enemies, making it awkward to appear on stage together and impossible to work together. Sometimes, a public falling out leads to leaks and dragging the entire company down with it.

Although Fu-Su Culture does not explicitly prohibit its artists from dating, it does have dating management regulations, requiring artists to report any romantic relationships to the company first.

As for romantic relationships within the same company, those are absolutely forbidden.

Chen Si's outburst not only terrified Li Xian, but also startled Su Liu, who quickly stood up to mediate.

"Sister Chen, please sit down, it's not that serious."

"What do you mean it's not that serious?" Chen Si glared at him, then turned to Li Xian and said, "Go out and call Qiu Tingyuan in for me."

Li Xian's heart skipped a beat, and he pleaded repeatedly, "President Chen, it has nothing to do with Sister Yuan."

Qiu Tingyuan is Li Xian's agent, and Chen Si's request to see her at this time clearly indicates that she wants to hold her accountable.

"go!"

Li Xian opened his mouth, but in the end, he could only leave the office dejectedly.

When the agent came in, Chen Si launched into another tirade, the scolding audible even through the door. It lasted for a full half hour, criticizing her on everything from artist management to professional ethics.

Mao Xiaotong and Dilraba were also attracted by the commotion. Seeing Li Xian looking dejected outside the door, they were about to go up and ask what was going on when they saw Su Liu walk out of the office.

He patted his chest, shaking his head and clicking his tongue in amazement, as if he were seeing such a scene for the first time. "Sister Chen's anger is truly formidable; she's even fiercer than Sister Wenxiu!"

He led the three to the lounge and explained the whole story to Dilraba and Mao Xiaotong.

"You really deserve it." After hearing this, Mao Xiaotong directly retorted to Li Xian, "Which company can let its artists date so easily? You still want to sign her? Are you out of your mind? Also, you should have discussed this with your agent first."

"But you went straight to Sister Sisi."

"I know I was wrong." Li Xian was in low spirits at the moment, and even his skin seemed to have turned dark.

Su Liu exchanged glances with Mao Xiaotong and Dilraba, then coughed and slowly began, "Ah Xian, since that's the case, let's talk about that 'good friend' who's so beautiful you can't look directly at her."

Li Xian still looked bewildered. "What... I can't look at it?"

Dilraba simply took out her phone, scrolled to the comment, and waved it in front of him, saying, "This is it."

Li Xian stared in disbelief after seeing the screen clearly. "Huh? You...you guys!"

"How long are you going to keep this a secret?" Mao Xiaotong rolled her eyes at him. "Sister Sisi was right to scold you."

"I didn't mean to hide it from you," Li Xian hurriedly explained, "It's just... we only just started dating."

""

"Damn, you two really just got together?" Su Liu blurted out.

"Su Liu, see? I told you so!" Mao Xiaotong slapped her thigh, looking smug. "They don't look like they've been dating for very long."

Dilraba, on the other hand, seemed quite interested. "Ah Xian, who pursued whom? Who confessed first that day?"

Li Xian, who was still immersed in a depressed mood, suddenly seemed to realize something and stared wide-eyed at the three people in front of him, as if he had just woken up from a dream.

"You...you..." The inexplicable phone call from that day flashed through his mind, and he pointed at Su Liu, asking in a low voice, "Teacher Su! Who made that call?"

"Hey, that's not my fault." Su Liu immediately shifted the blame, her tone self-righteous. "It was Dilraba who told me to hit her."

"Reba!"

Faced with Li Xian's questioning expression, Dilraba immediately retorted loudly, "Teacher Su, it was clearly you who wanted to hit me!"

"So...so that day..." A terrifying guess suddenly popped into Li Xian's mind.

"That's right." Su Liu reached out and gently patted his shoulder. "We all saw it."

"You saw everything?"

"Yes, we saw you being pinned against the wall by her in the coffee shop."

"7

Li Xian took a deep breath, as if he had suffered a major blow.

"You guys are...perverts!" He really didn't know what word to use to describe this behavior.

"Who told you to touch my head, touch my hand, and touch my nose to my nose?" Dilraba muttered under her breath.

"Stop talking, please. I beg you." Li Xian clasped his hands together, looking utterly hopeless, as if he wanted to disappear into a crack in the ground.

"Sister Xiaotong," he pleaded, looking at Mao Xiaotong beside him, "why didn't you stop those two!"

"How could I possibly persuade them?"

"Xiaotong was watching with the most fervor; she didn't take her eyes off it once." Su Liu exposed her in public without any mercy.

Mao Xiaotong instantly lost her composure, and slapped Su Liu in embarrassment and annoyance.

"Hey, why does your girlfriend want to come to our company?" Su Liu asked.

"She..." Li Xian stammered, not daring to say directly that she was after the second female lead in "Unnatural Death".

"She probably thinks our company has a good atmosphere." He added stiffly, then asked tentatively, "Ms. Su, is there a suitable role for her in 'Unnatural Death'? The size of the role doesn't matter."

Mao Xiaotong and Dilraba exchanged a glance and pursed their lips knowingly.

"Ah Xian," Mao Xiaotong suddenly asked, "How long have you been pursuing her?"

"Huh?" Li Xian was taken aback. "We met at a friend's gathering last year."

"My god, you've been chasing me for a whole year!" Su Liu exclaimed incredulously, her tone full of disdain.

"We call this taking responsibility for our relationships."

"When a man says something like that, he's completely finished."

"Teacher Su, please stop joking, I'm serious."

"Damn, you're not a simp, are you?"

"What dog?"

Seeing the conversation veering off course, Mao Xiaotong quickly interrupted, "Ah Xian, did she send you to ask Su Liu about the role?"

Li Xian paused for a moment, then seemed to realize something, "You guys don't doubt her feelings for me, do you? No, she's a good girl."

Mao Xiaotong pursed her lips noncommittally, her tone flat, "I didn't say anything."

Dilraba sat to the side, propping her chin up and muttering softly, "Usually when the male lead says something like 'she's a good girl,' a plot twist is just around the corner."

"Alright, Ah-Xian. Let's not talk about the role for now; I have something more important to ask you."

"What?" Li Xian looked at Su Liu in confusion.

Then I heard him speak slowly, and his words were truly astonishing.

"Did you sleep with her?"
