The Black Bloodline of Hogwarts

Chapter 1 Magical Outburst

"Look at you! Julien! You're always so distracted, except when you're painting."

With her hair in pigtails, Leia spoke at a machine-gun-like pace, interrupting a boy next to her as he drew.

"You are... Rhea? Oh, no, I mean, what's wrong?"

Julien raised his head, his eyes a rare emerald green, like olive leaves after the rain.

Leia didn't look to her side; her eyes were fixed on the poetry and the distance as she continued,

"Julien, you're a good person, but I don't want to be your girlfriend anymore."

At that moment, Julien's head buzzed, not because of the friend card the other party had given him, but because it felt like a large amount of information had been suddenly crammed into his brain.

"What did you say? What happened?" Although Julien was dizzy, he hadn't lost his mind. He suppressed his vertigo and replied, "What girlfriend?"

"You only like looking at bugs and drawing leaves, while Kevin can play with me all the time." Léa didn't notice Julien's abnormality, only assuming that he was hurt by her words.

"Kevin said that we can apply to St. Louis Royal School together in the future, instead of going to England."

Kevin said he could pluck stars from the sky for me.

"What Kevin can give me, you can't give me."

"So... let's break up."

The above words might be normal between two adults, but they seem ridiculous between two 10-year-old children.

"Kevin's lying. You can't pluck the stars off the ground, they'll burn your hands." Julien's mind was in a daze, as if a library had appeared in his head?! He could only answer off the cuff.

"No way! Kevin said we can catch it with binoculars!" Leia stomped her foot. "And he can recite 'The Little Prince'! Can you?"

"Yes," Julien nodded, "but the Little Prince said that what is essential is invisible to the eye, but must be seen with the heart."

"Hmph! Then you'll see if I'm really angry!" Léa stood up, turned her back to Julien, and shouted, "I'm going to tell everyone that Julien Black is a freak! He said yesterday that grapevines could dance by themselves!"

The other children laughed when they heard this.

Julien wasn't angry, nor did he have time to speak. Because the floodgates of memory had been flung open.

This photo was taken on September 17, 1990, at Château Vigne Noire in Bordeaux, France.

In autumn, the sunlight on the right bank of Bordeaux pours down like melting amber onto the rolling vineyards. The leaves on the vines turn a coppery red, and the Merlot berries are plump and purple. It is harvest season, and a moment of glory for the wineries.

Today, Château Blackvine was officially awarded the title of "Premier Grand Cru Classé A" in Saint-Émilion.

This means that on this land once shrouded in war and oblivion, a new legend has been born. It will stand alongside Cheval Blanc, Ausone, and Ansès, becoming another of the most dazzling jewels on the right bank of Bordeaux.

In front of the main building of the manor, under the century-old sycamore tree, several white silk tents have been erected.

The champagne tower stands tall, with waiters carrying silver platters that hold foie gras with figs, truffle tarts, and a 1985 vintage of Château Blackvines' special dry red wine—the liquid as deep as the night sky, with a pomegranate-red halo around the edges, yet smooth as silk on the palate, with an indescribable "coolness" in the finish, as if drinking a ray of moonlight.

The guests came from all over the world: wine critics from Paris, collectors from New York, tycoons from Tokyo, and celebrities from London. They spoke in hushed tones, their voices filled with amazement.

"Unbelievable... a family winery has risen from an unknown small winery to a top-tier winery in just thirty years."

"I heard the owner is British? He only moved here twenty years ago?"

"Yes, his name is Alphard Black. But Alphard is very mysterious and doesn't appear often. His wife, Elodie Black, usually manages the winery's affairs."

"This Mrs. Blake comes from the famous Moreau family, whose businesses are spread throughout France."

"That Blake, with his mysterious origins, is really lucky!"

"Don't say that. The winery has actually been around for over a hundred years. It's just that the quality of the wines here has been steadily improving since Mr. Blake took over. Look, he's coming this way."

Just then, a tall, middle-aged man in his fifties walked over from a distance, smiling and holding a wine glass in his hand, exchanging pleasantries along the way.

His hair and beard were slightly gray, but meticulously groomed. He wore a well-tailored dark green handmade wool suit, and his silk tie featured subtle silver vine patterns.

On the ring finger of his left hand he wore a plain wedding ring with a line of small words engraved on the inside that only his wife knew: "In vino veritas, in amore libertas." (In wine, one finds truth; in love, one finds freedom.)

"Look into his eyes, just like his name Alpha (the serpent star, which means a loner), his pupils seem to hold the entire universe," a middle-aged noblewoman said in a gushing manner.

No one knew that the "universe" came from a pure-blood wizard who had been expelled from his family.

In the winery's back garden, away from the bustling main venue, there's a corner decorated with colorful flags and balloons that has been transformed into a "children's playground." Small tables are set with juice, macarons, and mini sandwiches.

Several six- or seven-year-old children were playing a "treasure hunt" around the sandpit.

The cast-iron bench in the back garden faces the boundless green waves, which are the vineyards that stretch to the horizon.

The freshly mowed lawn still carried the crispness of dew, but when the wind blew through the vines, it suddenly became richer, carrying the sweet fragrance of green fruit and sunshine.

Perhaps the gardener forgot to close the gate tightly when watering last night, because now a silvery line of water is slowly crawling along the furrows, soaking the entire hillside.

The young boy and girl had been sitting on the bench under the oak tree, not participating in the children's games.

The boy was wearing a dark blue suit, his bow tie was slightly crooked, he was holding a grape leaf in his left hand, and his right hand was originally drawing the direction of the leaf veins on a sketchbook with a pencil.

For some reason, he suddenly seemed frozen, staring at the vineyard before him, then turning back to look at the girl. A look of confusion appeared in his eyes, as if he had just woken from a long dream.

Léa Dupont, a young girl, is Julien's primary school classmate and the daughter of a local Bordeaux wine merchant. She has a lively personality and gets along well with Julien, and they are considered good friends.

The boy's full name is Caelum Julien Black, he is 10 years old and the grandson of the winery owner, Alfard.

His grandfather came from an old family in England, where everyone was named after a star. So his father was Altair Étienne Black, whose name comes from Altair, the brightest star in the constellation Aquila.

His name, Schiller, is also a constellation name, meaning sculptor, and can also be interpreted as a changer. As for Julien, that's a French name added to his name.

At that moment, he remembered.

Previous life: Yu Lian.

His real name is Yu Lian, and he was born in China in the early 21st century. His parents were university professors, and although his family was well-off, they were estranged.

He was quiet and precocious from a young age, and was obsessed with reading, especially astronomy and classical literature. In college, he spent all his time in the library, reading extensively, to the point that some classmates called him a human library.

During his time at university, he majored in physics but secretly took an elective course on "Introduction to Western Mysticism." This was because he had read the Harry Potter series in his childhood and had since believed in the existence of "another world."

1980? No, for him, that was 2025.

Late that night, he was working on his thesis in the library. The thesis was titled “A Comparative Study of Quantum Entanglement and the Concept of ‘Empathy’ in Ancient Alchemy.”

Outside the window, thunder and rain raged. He leaned wearily against the back of his chair, muttering to himself, "If only magic truly existed..."

A bolt of lightning struck an ancient tree on campus, and the current surged through old wiring into the library. His last memory was of the copy of "The Black Family Genealogy" (a collection of obscure fan fiction) in his hand suddenly emitting a blinding white light...

When he opened his eyes again, it was 1980 in Bordeaux, in a private maternity ward of a winery. Amidst the cries of his mother, he became Caelum Julien Black.

For ten years, he thought he was just "precocious." He remembered the alphabet, could recite multiplication tables, and could tell the story of the Earth revolving around the sun. The adults simply thought he was smart. He never showed any abnormalities, not even to this day.

"So... I really have traveled through time." He murmured to himself.

This realization overwhelmed reason like a tsunami, and in that moment of emotional turmoil,

Magic Manifestation:

The pebbles at his feet slowly rose and hovered three inches above the ground.

The small plastic shovel in the sandpit automatically flipped over, pointing north;

Not far away, the water from the fountain swirls in reverse, forming a fleeting water lily.

The bow hair clip on Leia's head came undone by itself, and her long hair rose up, startling her so much that she screamed:

"Mother! Julien has cursed me with witchcraft!"
